Very poor quality as glass bowl keeps getting stuck. Kenwood need to resolve this design issue fast. Too many complaints about the bowl getting stuck on an expensive piece of equipment. What is it good for ? Going straight in the refuse bin in my opinion. I'm a very angry customer. Show details
Glass bowl gets stuck – Glass bowl gets stuck awful design. Should be a product recall with so many complaints on this. Mixer ok otherwise but due to this happening twice I give 1 star Show details
Dodgy mixing bowl fixing ring – Great mixer except for one design flaw. The heavy glass mixing bowl gets stuck in the fixing ring on the base and won't release. The bowl's glass handle hits the main part of the machine and the ring just turns with it. We searched the web and found the following combo of remedial actions worked. Half fill the bowl with boiling water to expand… Read more
the glass. Turn the machine on its side and empty out the water. Dribble mineral oil onto the join between the bowl and the base. Stand upright and turn several times left and right. One person hold the base, the other person wiggle the bowl, lift firmly, wiggle, lift - and voila. Out it comes. Needless to say shouldn't have to do this!! Kenwood - your machines are super-expensive so how about getting your design engineers to find a solution.

Very poor quality – I have had this mixer for over 2 years. It has been replaced twice under warranty for the bowl not being able to be released. This problem has just occurred again. So it is in the repair shop again. Just picked up my repaired mixer. I am not sure how long it will last this time. It's just a piece of useless junk. Show details
Super useful – My wife got this mixer (Kenwood kMix Kitchen Machine Red KMX750RD 1000W Stand Mixer)from the Harvey Norman Store in Sunshine last year. It was in a box for a long time. Finally, she started using it and she is totally addicted to it. It's a super versatile appliance in the kitchen and her baking skills have improved numerously since she started using it. Bowl is stuck – only had this two years, household use only so not over used, went to use last night and the glass bowl is jammed stuck, googled the problem and it seems like it is not unusual, apparently the plastic ring on the bowl that locks in place breaks and it becomes jammed, now i have to take to warranty place to see if they can fix it. really not happy,… Read more
I am 65 years old and never ever had a cake mixer bowl stick, lucky it didnt have ingredients in it. The bowl is really heavy to use anyway.
Glass bowl plastic attachment broke 5 times! – The mixer is stunning! I used couple of times and after that the plastic ring that attaches the glass bowl to the stand cracked. I asked Kenwood for replacement 4 times already and got the replacements. Last time after i did a batch of cookies the mixer head is not spinning and gets stuck to the glass bowl wall. I sent email to Kenwood as my mixer… Read more

Mixing it up never got better – The performance of this mixer is great with 1000w power to get through the toughest dough mix yet gentle enough for the lightest sponge cakes. This mixer comes with whisk , mixer and dough mixer and a small moulded plastic scraper. It also has a very HEAVY glass bowl which has a plastic attachment, Not the best, but you can buy a light stainless… Read more
steel bowl as an accessory around $125 + shipping, which really should have been thrown in the deal. The huge capacity of these bowls is a whopping 5lt enough to make the whole family cakes! All in all for the cost *discontinued model sale* its a good mixer.
Nice mixer but pretty poor agent support – The Kenwood KMIX was great and very pretty on the kitchen counter. However, after only few uses the plastic base of the glass bowl that enables the bowl to lock into the mixer cracked. Since the KMIX was only a few months old, I called up Service Sphere, Kenwood's authorized service provider. The level of service was very slow and fail to take… Read more

The Glass bowl Stuck and can't be removed at all – Got this mixer last week, it comes with a lot of whisk attachment for your baking needs. The first time i used it i heard this clicking noise that i ignore thinking it is normal. it mixes fine anyway. Though on the third use i cant seem to detach the glass bowl from the mixer after using it. It turns out the plastic ring around the bottom of the… Read more
bowl detaches itself from the glass so i have a free wheeling glass bowl that i cant remove since the plastic is the one that secures the whole assembly.
got it returned straight away. so if you are looking for a stand mixer get one with a stainless steel bowl instead because it is one assembly.

I love this machine – It is powerful and easy to use. It came with balloon whisk, beater, dough hook and folding tool. It has a large glass bowl with measurements down the side. I would love an option to buy a smaller bowl for those smaller batches, but this has been getting quite the workout in my kitchen. Love! Show details
