Kid Stuff Physical store

Such a shame to read the negativity of the online store as I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the in-person store at Erina. The staff are so helpful and lovely and it’s become my go-to for all kids toys, books and gift ideas. If you have a store near you in person, highly recommend you check it out. Terrible In-Store Experience – I had a really poor experience with the store in Sth Yarra. - with only 2 customers in the store at the time, the assistant did not attempt to offer me any help or acknowledge I was present - when I went to pay and requested that it be gift wrapped I was told it was $2.99 if I wasn’t a member. - when I paid,I noticed the 30% sale price had not been applied (after I paid) and it was stayed “it’s not on sale anymore”. When I pointed out that they all the stick still had sale stickers on them she said “it’s an old sale and has finished”. When I explained that she had a legal responsibility to sell products at the price they are advertised at she ignored me and started speaking to the next customer.

Had I not been in a hurry, I would have demanded a refund on principle.

No apology, no accountability, no general courtesy.

Disappointing – The sales lady in the store in Newtown, VIC was lovely. So lovely that I ended up buying a lot of my Christmas presents for the kids there. Was very disappointed when I went to put the sand and water table together on Christmas Eve to discover numerous pieces missing. I have since contacted customer service online and they have been so unhelpful and unapologetic. I won't be shopping there again.

Impressive Customer Service – I was unable to get a product on line due to it being out of stock. Castle Hill did not have any but the staff there went out of their way to locate a store that had the product and got it sent to Castle Hill for me. Terrible experience every time – Terrible customer service, overpriced, will not price match and many of the toys are terrible quality.

Don't bother trying to price match – First they say they can't price match an item if it's on sale at another store. Then they say they can't price match a regular price at another store because it is below their cost price. This was when they had a 30% off everything sale. Still too expensive! I won't bother going back unless their prices become more competitive.

Complete rip off – A toy in kidstuff is currently selling for $89 while the exact same toy is selling in kmart for $25. Never buy from kidstuff. They are a rip off.

Looting people – Recently bought 2 x Zuru Robo turtles from Kidstuff George St. for $22.99 each (total $46), just to realize after a few days that it's available in Target for $8 each! This is insane - They should shut shop if they can't afford the rents and want to pass on the burden on the public. Show details
