Sharpening discs are really crap quality. Only a thin layer of sharpening material like a nail file. Did 2 knives before the thing became useless. Waste of money. Gluing wet and dry sandpaper onto the discs would work better Show details

was definitely interested in this but i HATE companies who lie about pricing from the get go, and refuse to buy from them. If you go to their website its $89.99 for this product, but they're having a "buy one get one free" promotion for which the price comes up as $149.99!! so yeah, fraudulent 2 for 1 claim sent me running

This has to be the best and easiest knife sharper I have ever used. I can do just before I use my knifes. I don't have to wait for an other member of my family to sharpen my knifes. Show details

I've used it three times on my knives to sharpen them when I first received the kit. Any large knives don't fit to sharpen them and the smaller ones don't fit either. The 20° angle on the block is useless with large knives, it might sharpen a knife if it fits just above the magnetic block. In my opinion it's rubbish. Show details

If I could give no starts I would!!!! Crappiest product ever and worst customer service I have ever experienced! Don’t waste your time, and even though they say 90 day money back it’s not true at all, they have made every excuse under the sun not to refund me even though I have sent the product back!

Not sure if product is good or not as they use the worst courier company in Australia. And therefore never received goods as left in public area. Not advised of delivery. the whetstones work remarkably well so long as you have patience and the necessary skill. Using the Kimbo Rolling Knife Sharpener takes out all the guess work of manually holding the knife at the correct angle continuously. The set angles of 15° and 20° on either side of the knife holding block to hold the knife blade securely in place by strong magnets makes sharpening very easy and you get an accurate and consistent edge depending which angle you choose...and very sharp. Starting with a coarse whetstone at one end of the rolling sharpener it takes around 30-40 seconds rolling back and forth to get rid of the rough edge on one side of a blunt blade, switch the knife in the opposite direction and repeat. Turn to and use the opposite end of the rolling sharpener for the smoother whetstone to hone and finish the blade with a keen sharp edge. To finish the job there is the leather strop which removes all the metal filings from the blade. It all comes together in an attractive box which also contains a convenient display stand that holds both the rolling knife sharpener and the display stand. It's very easy to use and suits most kitchen knives. At the time of writing they're on sale and with Christmas fast approaching it would make an ideal gift.

I received it less than a week later from an Australian address (I mention this because some reviewers have said it comes directly from China - this was not my experience). The version I bought was the basic sharpener and the angled block. I tried Kimbo on a variety of knives, but while it did sharpen them, I didn't find it any better than my existing sharpener (Fiskar's ceramic sharpener). It was perfectly decent for cutting veggies but not as sharp to cut paper like they do on their videos which is what I was expecting. There were fine metal particles on the counter so it is doing something. I requested a refund and got a quick reply with an offer to keep the product, however I decided to proceed with the refund. I paid for postage to return it (about $12). After about three weeks I noticed on the Aus Post app that it had not been received and my refund had not been processed. Not sure if this was Aus Post or a Kimbo issue. However I emailed Kimbo and the full refund was processed immediately. Overall, there's not much to lose by trying Kimbo - especially if you have no other sharpeners at home because there is a money back guarantee. I'm only writing this lengthy review because some of the recent reviews do not reflect my experience.

I authorised again only to find they had added a product and charged me twice. when i tried to cancel the transaction. My bank was unable to help because they say I authorised the transaction. Banks and Government authorities should take action against these scammers using dodgy practices because all the laws around online sales and bank merchant facilities are skewed to protect the scammers and not the consumer. The protections are only lip service and the Bank's make more money from the Merchants than they do from the consumer. I just feel stupid that I fell for Kimbo Australia's scam, who say they are australian but this is obviously stretching the truth. I consider myself to be very financially literate but I got duped this time

also uses these to sharpen my knives, so I needed something I could use myself. I read the instructions carefully and did exactly what was described. It is so easy and takes hardly any effort to achieve an amazing sharpness. It’s fool proof. The only recommendation I have is that there be a more comprehensive instruction sheet with more words, description and diagrams.

Like a lot of other customers of Kimbo, I ordered my sharpener kit over 2 weeks ago. Tracking said it was at the depot for five days...after contacting (by email only, no contact numbers for anyone) both Kimbo and the courier company the order has now been updated to on board for delivery. NOT recommend Kimbo for their customer service. Can't review the product because I still have not received it

I found that the sharpener did not sharpen anywhere near what was advertised. I tried rolling backwards and forward many more times than was recommended (like about 10-20 times more!) and all that resulted was a blade which was only marginally sharper than before. I'm also now believe that the diamond surface has lost any sharpening ability it might have had, so the tool is essentially useless. Very disappointed. Show details

What a great sharpener. Forget the others; they just destroy your knives. I was sceptical at first, but the Kimbo knife sharpener works so well and is kind on your precious (and date I say expensive) knives. So easy and quick to use for a well sharpened edge that lasts for a good while; and if it needs resharpening it's a 2 minute job. I am a very happy customer.

I bought the rolling knife sharpener and absolutely love it. I find it very easy to use and my knives are so sharp afterwards. I recently purchased the leather strop and wow what difference it makes. I have always found honing my knives with the steel difficult but with the leather strop that task has become so much easer. Over all the rolling knife sharpener and leather strop are the easiest sharpeners I hav e ever used.

Last year I bought expensive Japanese knives which I thought were very sharp this year they needed sharpening so I purchased the Kimbo Rollling sharpening kit.
