I have used a number of different knife sharpeners in my time, European, steels, whet stones, grinders etc. Very laborious. The Kimbo sharpener lets me do ½ a dozen knives in less than 10 mins. Additionally, the clamp is designed with an angle that opposes the shape of a knife blade, resulting in inadequate contact and an insecure hold. The position of the clamping bolt also prevents the sharpening stone from achieving any angle less than 30 degrees. Furthermore, the clamping bolts cannot be tightened sufficiently to hold the assembly in place during use.

Don’t be sucked in by the Aussie accent in the advertising. This company is not located on the Gold Coast. The knife sharpener doesn’t leave an edge so the knife is no sharper than before it was sharpened. Show details

Purchased knife sharpeners from Kimbo. Was simple to purchase product from and I found the product to work perfectly, I have never had my Knives as sharp before. I do recommend this product.

I love the Kimbo knife sharpener. My carving knives are the sharpest they have ever been. It took me a while to work out how to sharpen the smaller blade knives, but now I have worked out how to lift and hold them, these knives too are a pleasure to use. Kimberley works good sharpens most knifes but some of the bigger knife's you have to place roller on block for it to sharpen them. Good product.,just needs that block hights . To complete the job. Very happy with what I got. Tha k you.

I had seen the ad for the Sharpener before on my socials but I was never compelled to click through. Then I saw an ad on Meta advertising the pack which included a knife and Sharpening Strop. over the line. When I received the package they only sent the Sharpener. I emailed them to find out why and I was told, you have only ordered the sharpener and that they were sorry and didn't have the packs in-stock. So I told them about the meta ad and told them they needed to sort it out so other people weren't misled like I have been and as it appears like many others have. Do better Kimbo.

I found this far too complicated to set up and use. I've no doubt that someone who can set it up and knows how to use it would be very satisfied with how it sharpens their knives.

Not only can I now sharpen my knives without having to hold the knife at a certain angle and hope that I get it right (this was something I found hard to do), I know without having to check that my knives will be sharpened to perfection because of the easy, reliable equipment I now possess. The rolling knife sharpener from Kimbo is the best and simplest way to restore old favourites back to their former glory, if the knife was in bad shape it may take a few hits but you can actually see the edge clean up and look uniform again, definitely happy with my purchase, Josh W Show details ·  1

Amazingly simple to use, yet extremely effective at get all knives razor sharp. I have had 3 or 4 different knife sharpening systems, but none are as easy to use as Kimbo. Highly recommend one for all cooks and chefs. Show reply
