Magnificantly idiot proof – I'm useless at sharpening knives so needed a idiot proof one. Looked at a Kleva Sharp Pro but they only had this version. Well, for 15 bucks this blows everything else Ive tried out of the water. Its so easy, took like 5 slides to bring back my carving knife from the dead of blunt. good as I care for, not razor sharp but sufficient. Sharpened every knife in the house, game changer for sure.

Can’t live without the red knife sharpener – The red sharpener sits on my cupboard near the stove in my home and holiday van. I tried the gold one but it is no where near as good. Show reply

Terrible – These things are nasty! If you want to ruin your knives then but one of these. This style has been around for a long time and they are just useless. Show details

Unimpressed – The sharpener actually dulls the blades and they no longer cut at all. I read and followed the instructions which are themselves terrible. The images are are too small even for a magnifying glass. I feel ripped off even at NZ$20.00 Show details

Great while it lasted – But it wore out very quickly. I think it should have a 12month guarantee. I bought 2 and they both became useless very quickly so Would not buy again for this reason. Show details

My favourite knife's edge was very burred. The Kleva Sharpener took 90% of them off the first use. There are still a few there, but I'm confident with more sharpening they will be gone. Show details ·  1

Can't manage without it now and makes excellent gift – The knife sharpener is brilliant! We have used one for years and given one to both our sons after our chef son used our original one to remove some quite severe nicks in a cleaver blade and brought it back to life.
