Kleva Sharp PRO

The Klevasharp pro once blunt is VERY difficult and almost impossible to get access to the base, so that you can reverse the cutting blades when they get blunt. On the normal red Klevasharp, you simply take out the two small screws and reverse the blades and it’s as good as new, but with the Pro it’s almost i possible to separate the base to… Read more

allow access to the cutting blades. So in this case, cheaper is probably better ! Don’t buy the Pro if you think that the blades are reverseable…..they virtually aren’t !

Worst Customer Service ever – Purchased one of these after having used the red Kleva Sharp for years and loved it. Must have got one that does not work properly so I contacted the company. Average at best – Bought one of these thinking might save a bit of elbow grease especially with my fishing knives l like razor sharp and chef knives, I've given the sharpener a few tries only too spend ages trying to rehone the knives again with an oilstone. the knife razor sharp, this is okay for blunt low too average knives that need a bit of a sharpen but nothing more. I did find running a bread knife through it puts bit of an edge back on it though.

Quality construction – These sharpeners are made to a high level of heavy duty construction. I have had the plastic one before and this metal one is a much better option. Sharpeners very well. A little hard to use for serrated knives. Show reply

The Must Have Kitchen Tool! – Love the fact that the sharpener grips the bench with the suction grip as it makes it much easier to sharpen the knives or scissors. Always does a great job in keeping my big food prep knives extra sharp. Show reply

The one which sharpens all blade types, even serrated – Does a great job in around three passes of the knife blade. One thing to watch are the minute metal filings which might not be noticed spilling onto the bench. I've relocated the sharpener to a lesser used part of the counter top. Show reply
