Used them many times at old house and office sent email messages over wanting quote them asked questions no one got back to me. Followed up few times to get an email saying sorry we too busy and can’t help for several week 3 air cones serviced and 3 up on brackets outside and a new one installed obviously didn’t want the job and customer service poor to send an email like they did.
Technicians have damaged my air conditioner. it now makes a high pitched squealing noise. When the technicians came out they basically said it must have been like that before because the technician didn't write anything down. Call these guys if you want your airman to be worse than it was before.
Clean by technician was fast. However did not appear to check drainage pipe. Water now cascades out on the first real use. The rating is mainly the response of their office staff and passive aggressive denial they could have made a mistake. Other… Read more
companies specifically state part of the clean is to ensure the reservoir is cleaned and the pipe is running. Poor customer service by far.
Follow-up · Zero follow up and zero care from the company.
Terrible customer service – Terrible phone service. Sent me texts explaining to me what was needed on the day for the clean and I rang them to query what had to be done because it wasn't clear - and the operator argued with me about my understanding of the text. Told me my service was cancelled and hung up on me. Do not recommend.
Positive experience with KleenAir – We had a good experience with Sam from KleenAir. He was very courteous and respectful in my home. Had two units cleaned, one caked on with oil and mould and the other full of dust and mould. He gave good maintenance tips and had it functioning and smelling like new again. Price was reasonable compared to some of their competitors. Show details
Terrific – Recently had a new Mitsubishi air conditioner installed. The supervisor (Kevin) who arranged the site inspection, quote and installation was terrific - friendly, professional and kept me up to date when new information came through. Very reliable. Both installation technicians (Kris and Leo) were hard working, polite and efficient. Thanks!!
Excellent experience – Izzy was fantastic. Punctual, friendly and respectful in our home. Our air-conditioners are clean and fresh and we will certainly use Kleen Air again!
Aircon deep clean service – Great experience dealing with Ryan and his team. Best quote we got and very professional service. Happy with every detail! Would 100% recommend to anyone.
Great service and professional – Cannot thank enough to the team at KleenAir. They did an amazing job for a price which was very reasonable. For the same price I was quoted a basic service by other companies. Will recommend your services to my friends and family.
Good Service – Well priced, communication was perfect from start to finish. I am happy with the results.
Good Service – I am very happy with your Aircon cleaning service. I can feel the difference with asthma symptoms after your service. The technician who worked at my house was polite and professional. Did everything quickly and efficiently.
Real results and very professional – Phenominal results with excellent value for money. From start to finish, office was brilliant with communication. Technician was very comprehensive and knew a great deal about AC systems. Will definitely recommend and use again
Terrible customer service - I asked them to leave my property before starting the job! – I booked this company to clean my 3 aircons. Two Indian men arrived, told me to move my car, move the couch and pinned my door open without giving me time to put my cat away, and demanded again, while inside my house to move my couch. I felt extremely unsafe with them in my house and one man (Ryan) was worse and didn't leave when I first asked him… Read more
to. I asked for him again to leave my house and he did. I gave him a chance to explain then what the process wsa. He tried to explain to me then but I was shaken by then. This explanation should have 100% happened at the first contact, before they entered my house and not implied through an email or text where I'm supposed to know what they require. When I raised this with the supervisor, she tried to say it was my fault because they told me they were coming. She was also very rude not letting me speak when trying to explain how they made me felt. She said they were busy and couldn't wait for me to sort out my house for them. I hung up. This whole experience left me feeling upset. If you value customer service, don't use this company!

Professional, punctual and high quality workmanship – Brilliant work and customer service by this company. I booked a job for my investment property and I was truly shocked to see how dirty our AC systems were before KleenAir serviced them. They provided me with a proper report and process was efficient, quick and very well priced.
Excellent Service – The communication to schedule my job and then confirmation before arriving was great. The works on the day was perfect as the technician ensured little things in our house were looked after and kept clean whilst doing the work. Our unit is quite new but used often and needed some serious love after dust/ mould and mildew. Now that its… Read more
cleaned/sanitised and smelling great, we have a happy household ready for those warm muggy summer days. Thanks Kleen Air
Waste of money and time – Had these guys out to service an inverter as we had mould/mildew. They did the job and left the unit wet and leaking and running on 18. They also left the unit in the same condition as before.. the mouldy smell still remains and we complained and received a full refund. Call fair trading if you can’t receive a refund. Dodgy as hell. Don’t know how they got so many positive reviews. They have to be fake.
Dodgy as hell, avoid at all costs – Can't give zero stars unfortunately. I mentoned initially that it has spat out a few drops of water last week. These guys "cleaned" my AC and left it on 18 degrees and high fan with instructuons to leave it on for half an hour and it may leak a little. I put a towel on my mattress and 20 mins after they left a large amount of water poured out … Read more
and soaked my mattress. I called the Tech, they said call the company. Called the company, they said as I has signed their disclaimer saying they weren't responsible for leaks they didn't have to do anything. I dont consider about 1 litre of water pouring out of the unit to be a leak. It continued to drip after I turned it off. Luckily after asking for advice on my local Facebook page, [Name Removed] from a local AC servicing company came free of charge, spent about half an hour, and fixed the problem. He said it was something they should have picked up and fixed. He also commented they did a rubbish job cleaning the inside unit. AVOID KLEENAIR like the plague/Covid.

The worst experience and biggest regret – I don’t usually leave google reviews but our experience was very poor. I also saw how this company treated others that left negative google reviews so I was hesitant. Ultimately I decided I would not be bullied into staying silent about our terrible experience that left our property damaged. I hope you do your research before having this company… Read more
come into your home.. - Cleaners walked through house with their dirty shoes which was fine as I showed them through via hardwood floors. They started cutting through my lounge and walking over a rug and my eight month olds play mat. No complaints from me I moved my daughters mat and put an old sheet over the rug. - Cleaners had hose on my rug that had been heavily taped up. Noticed it was leaking so I placed sheets under to avoid it spilling through to my rug. (Still no complaints from me). - Cleaners left water spillage on floor with no attempt to wipe it up before they left. (No complaints from me). - Large blue stain left on rug in baby room where aircon unit was being cleaned. Noticed as soon as they left the house as I stood on it and it was wet, called company immediately and they asked for photos. - Received email stating that they ran tests on a “similar material” as my 100% wool rug and their chemical was not this bright blue colour and thus it was impossible that it was their chemical and that it looked like blue texta and “perhaps I have a child that uses these pens” and attached a picture of a texta to this email for reference. - At this point I am fairly annoyed. Call company and their customer service representative was poorly trained. Did not let me speak. Kept reiterating it looked like texta. She ends up hanging up on ne saying I was incredibly rude. Also sent me a text message saying I was incredibly rude. - Approx four hours post clean notice the front lawn has gone brown and died. Where they cleaned the cover of the aircon unit the grass has died. Upon inspection there is blue chemical on our grass too. Send pictures to company. - Waited almost two weeks and the operations manager finally called my husband and organised a rug cleaner. Could not remove stain. - They go back to saying it’s not their chemical despite admitting their chemical is a blue green colour but it’s not the same blue that was found on our rug.. This was our experience. I urge you to do your own research and choose wisely. I regret ever letting these people into our home. Poorest customer service experience ever and we are not difficult people. There were many things wrong with the experience even before the blue stain that I was not going to ever mention to the company but after the way we were treated the least I can do is an honest google review.
Absolute joke of a company how they are in business I have no idea – I've no idea how these guys got some good reviews except I can only assume they are fake. We had an issue where our pan keeps filling up, overflowing and pouring out of the light socket underneath the pain, we had a plumber look at it who thought he had fixed it so we got these guys out just to make sure as it says they clear the pipes check the… Read more
pans etc.
No less than a week later we have water pouring out of our light sockets again, these guys didn't even go up in our roof so how they can clean the air conditioning when half of the system is in the roof I have no idea.
All they did was clean our filters, which I do myself anyway and it takes me 15 minutes, and pressure sprayed our outdoor unit a bit. They didn't remove any of the paneling so how they cleaned any of the insides with their "special treatments" is beyond me because it's still filthy inside and doesn't look like they even attempted to clean inside it.
We basically payed $245 for them to do something I could have done myself in less than 30 minutes. Oh and they left some sort of air freshener up in the filters that the air con expert we got, who will hopefully finally fix the issue by doing what these guys should have improved or notified us about, took out otherwise he said it would have fallen on my head next time I went to clean the filters.
We've been told we have a blockage in the pipes by 3 different people now which causes the overflows, yet the advert we got sent says they flush the pipes with their special cleaning agent? How they did that without going up in the roof cavity or getting up on the roof top where the pipes come out is beyond me. That's some real magic there, which unfortunately didn't work because everything is still blocked and I nearly got electrocuted for a second time which could have been prevented if they did their jobs. Even if they couldn't fix it, and their disclaimer basically says all existing issues aren't their problem even though they guarantee no overflows for 12 months somehow???, they could have at least of let us know about it. But how could they when they did jack all and pocketed the money.
Oh and their so called reports which were supposed to number 2 or 3, maybe more, included one piece of paper that said and I quote "Ducted hygiene maintenance service performed."
Here is a list of just some of the things we paid for:
5 Stage Deep Clean and sanitisation includes Evaporator housing, Filter/s, Evaporator Coils, Drain Pan, Drain Line, entire Fan Barrel and Fan Cavity. - How does 5 stage = pressure washing the outside unit for 5 minutes?
Deep clean with 100 % Mould removal guarantee. - We can smell the mould from all these leakages, they did nothing to look for any mould besides remove it.
Eliminates COVID 19 from your internal AC unit. - Yeh that's a major concern, that covid is in my air con, there is not even proof that this can spread via air cons and if it did one of us would have to have covid for it to happen so killing it off in the air con is pretty damn stupid. Plus they wouldn't have done it anyway as they didn't go near half the unit.
Includes removal of evaporator housing. - Nothing was removed full stop except the filters as they take 30 seconds.
Full strip down followed by high pressure Hydro wash and Jet Steam. - Er strip down doesn't mean spray the outside unit a bit, which is still filthy by the way.
Non Toxic, Asthma and Allergy friendly cleaning agents used. - By this they mean non-existent.
Fully trained and insured local technicians. - Couple of Indian blokes, and I'm not being racist or anything as I'm sure any race can be a great air conditioning technician, but these guys just seemed like off the street guys who took a 1 hour training course of something.
Service performed using our own developed rinse out machine. - What was rinsed out besides out filters? Nothing.
12 months Evaporator condensation leak free guarantee. - Er it didn't even make it 2 weeks, so fail there.
Pre and Post service report provided. - Again you saw the entirety of the reporting.
Outdoor units on the ground floor are included (external deep clean)** - What does the ** mean, there is nothing in the email we got sent that explains the **. Does that mean if it's too big they won't be bothered doing it? I'm guessing that's what they meant. But hey you are supposed to explain what the ** mean.
Drain Pan Channel - Is currently filled the brim and it would have had at least some water in it when they came as the air con was running.
Front and Back Evaporator Coils - We are being told these are likely dirty causing the excess sweat, when the real guys come to service it they are taking these out so we shall see how clean they are.
Barrell Fan - Isn't that up in the roof? If so how did they magically check it from outside?
Fan Cavity - Is filthy outside and if there is such a thing in the roof it wasn't touched.
Drainpipe - Both drainpipes are blocked, they said they clean them with a special formula, either they made it worse or did nothing at all, I'm going with the latter given they didn't go on or in the roof.
Anti Bacterial and Mould Resistant Treatment - Yeh I'm sure you've done that alright.
Deep Clean and Rinse of Outdoor Condenser - Again if they couldn't remove the outer housing, because either they weren't strong enough or were too lazy, they could have told us and discounted the treat not just pretend it was done properly through the small gaps in the unit.
Check and Wipe Clean Remotes - We have touch screens like most people who live with the times, they could have at least wiped those.
They were also supposed to report on the temperature before and after their service as well as the fans throughput which I assume is to prove they did something. Obviously we didn't get those because it likely would have been worse.
Fair trading here I am, they are lucky I don't sue them for the damage the second flood causes to my roof. No number of disclaimers can cover you for incompetence.

AIR CON DAMAGED – **UPDATE** Not long after Kleen Air damaged our aircon, it started leaking water (see pic). Kleen Air were contacted, we requested they cover the cost of repairs to which they declined and accused us of making up stories. We had started compiling our evidence for small claims court. Lodged with OFT but out of their area & they confirmed to go… Read more
through QCAT. Our insurer said they can’t cover the repair cost due to trader negligence and that Kleen Airs public liability should have covered it. However due to it leaking down the wall, they sent our various trades through a builder to assess potential water damage. Luckily, no wall damage however massive shout out to AIR DC who spent considerable time & removed the cover and re-aligned everything and it is finally working again 6 weeks after the damaged was caused. GO WITH A COMPANY THAT INSTALLS and cleans air cons. Not just a cleaning business; because if damage occurs they don’t have the skills to fix it. Oh and they sent that $100 e- voucher – small compensation towards wages lost due to the appointments for 4 separate trades to come out as organised by our insurer.
AIR CON DAMAGED If you take the risk with this company ensure you ask to see their waiver. They make you sign a waiver when they have set up their equipment and are already in your home. Their waiver absolves their company of any damage they cause – which seems to include damaging the whole casing of your air con unit and pulling so hard it breaks the top fixings from the wall. Avoid and all costs & save yourself the stress, damage and wasted time with this business. Booked Kleen Air to clean 3 air con units. Technician had considerable trouble removing the cover plate on the large aircon. After approx. 10 minutes of him forcefully yanking at it, I asked him to stop when I saw he was pulling the whole unit off its fixings on the wall. Due to what he did it is now dented at the top making it extremely hard to remove and re-apply the filters, the front leaver will not close properly and it is not flush on the wall. I told him to stop as he was damaging it. I politely said he would not be touching the other units. He packed up, walked out, not saying a word leaving me to clean up all the smudge marks on the unit and wall. I called Kleen Air. Their solution was to have the ‘Operations Manager’ come back to clean the other units (at full charge) and to “look” at the damage the technician had caused. I said there was no way I would hand over my money or risk the other units being damaged, so this suggestion was flat out rejected by me. I said that someone does need to come and try and fix the damaged unit. I offered any time after 3.30pm the following week. They would not assist at all saying it had to be within their 5-hour window appointment times. They would not confirm someone would come with tools to fix it, rather they would “look” at it. I asked to speak with the Manager. He was not available. 2 days from the damage caused, I emailed the Manager a critical evaluation of his poor business practices and total lack of customer service, within 5 minutes he responded! Knowing he could not fix the damage caused and also continuously downplaying the extent of the damage he offered a $100 gift card (which I know I will never see – but will amend this review if proven wrong). Kleen Air were given time to amend this issue before this review was posted. Kleen Air were informed I would share this to warn others.
Brand new again – Kevin & Sam were absolutely brilliant and best reps for your company. They called before arrival to let us know when they would be here. They were filling in for another guy. They were so professional and considerate and didn't make any mess, but cleaned as they went. Explained everything and worked well together. It was lovely to have them… Read more
come to our home and complete the job without fuss. Thank you Keenair for employing two such lovely people to represent your company. Cant recommend them or your company highly enough. Even the lady in the office was very professional yet friendly and helpful. Well done to all and merry Xmas to all.
Good customer service – Cleaning technicians were respectful, friendly and professional. A pristine clean and wiped down afterwards. Would highly recommend this business.
Unprofessional – We had a technician attend our house today to clean our 4 air-conditioners. The first thing I noticed was his lack of customer service, but the real issues are he was sick, coughing, snorting phlegm constantly, even while filling in his paperwork at our kitchen bench, no mask. We have a 5 year old little boy with a disability and chronic lung… Read more
disease. If he ends up sick he will end up in hospital on oxygen. We are very careful about people entering our house and then this person with no regard for anyone comes into home to do a paid service, sick. The lack of consideration is disgusting. In this day and age with COVID-19 it's so much worse to do what he did today. Your company claims to abide by COVID-19 practices but this is not even close to following those guidelines. When we called to report this all that both staff members were concerned about where themselves and their families health. Secondly he damaged our wallpaper in my daughters room, I do understand that it's hard to clean an air conditioner with wallpaper behind but it doesn't even appear he took any care at all. There was drips of dirty water all along the base into the carpet, now the wallpaper is ruined. He didn't even have the decency to let us know this occurred before leaving. Thirdly in our main room there was a pool of water on our bedside table, and a pool of mouldy water on the carpet in the corner. Dirty water on the wall. We have now turned this air-conditioner on, it is now leaking water down the wall, to the point of a drenched towel after only having it on for 20 minutes. I have to say I'm very disappointed, and extremely annoyed. The way this company has handled this is appalling now, we are being told that they will not fix the air conditioner as we have previously had an issue with another company ruining the wallpaper, so somehow their incompetence is our fault, they send out sick, unqualified staff with no respect for peoples property and health it is our fault.
