My first Anko milk frother worked fine for about 18 months probably what you’d expect from small appliance. The second one about 9 months and current one only 5 months. I use my frother once per day if that and clean it as per directions. Can’t return it as threw away receipt. Think I’ll swap to another brand. Show details

Yer another cheap Chinese product that conveniently lasts until not long aftwr warranty expires. Worked ok on the lowest setting only - any higher setting started to make way overheated frothy cream. Only for about 18 months then stopped. Not even heavy use. 1 cup per day. Show details

I got this milk frother as I wanted to save money on bought coffee. Used it once a day for 8days and the milk burnt and stuck to half of the bottom of it. It had burnt bits floating in it. I guess you get what you pay for. A $32 product doesn't produce good results. Show details

Was happy with the purchase and the frother produced beautiful thick creamy milk. But sadly after two weeks of use does not froth at all, I thought maybe using different brands of milk would make a difference but not at all Show details

Quite happy really. I only use to heat milk - it does this quite well - could be hotter. It does however, leave a layer of burnt milk on the bottom of the device which needs a good scrub afterwards. Show details

Follow-up  · I really don't use it much any more - the effort required to clean the burned milk off the bottom after every use just isn't worth it.

I have been using this item for some months now and I was super happy with the results, a nice thick foam and then something changed after I took the spring out in the bottom to clean under it properly, the foam became not so thick. Today I used… Read more ·  2

it and all of a sudden the foam is back to what I was getting at the start which was nice volume and thick and I have had the spring out several times before today’s occasion, I seriously think it’s not the appliance but maybe the different grades and brands of milk I’m using, I never buy the same milk.

It will also foam up the almond milk barista version and milk powder made into liquid however not quite as thick as in my pics below but still good enough.

Bit of a bother to clean underneath the spring bit hence me taking it out to clean underneath properly. Other than that I’m happy with my purchase and was using it everyday but now just a few times a week due to me over dust the foam with that chocolate powder lol.

Follow-up  · For a thicker almond milk foam I use less milk, just to the first line inside the frother and I still use the high foam mode, this means with less milk it has more room to increase in volume. milk powder made into a liquid will still foam but it's not a thick foam it's more loose, different types of full cream cows milk will also vary on foam… Read more

I thought this was wonderful, I’ve been using it for two weeks or so, not even every day. All of a sudden it’s not frothing the milk. I thought it was a new brand of milk I used, but then I used it again with a milk I’ve used before and the milk is not frothing at all Show details

I can't believe how good this product actually is. Costing only $32, I was quite sceptical, but my $72 Sunbeam milk frother (that I've had for 4 yrs) started to become inconsistent. The Kmart frother has actually produced better results than my previous frother! I'm now getting really perfectly frothy coffee. The only con is that the milk is… Read more ·  5

not quite hot enough, but I've had that issue with every frother I've used. Nothing the microwave can't fix. It did however heat the milk much faster than my last frother.

The handle makes it easy to pour, and clean. A simple wipe out with a soapy sponge seemed sufficient enough. I once owned a cylindrical one which ended up taking a swim with the fishes, due to the lack of a handle.

Hopefully it will last as long as it's predecessor, but at $32, if it lasts 12 months it'll owe me nothing. If you're on a budget, you can't go wrong.

Poor quality – Lasted less than 2 weeks. The connection at the bottom just fell apart. Disappointed will be returning for a refund and going back to my Nespresso model which lasted over 6 years without a hitch.

My new favourite kitchen accessory – I am not a coffee drinker anymore, so I drink hot chocolates instead, like I'm talking almost daily. But one thing that I was disappointed I wasn't able to do at home is make decent froth like in a cafe. I saw someone mention a milk frother in a social media post somewhere, so when I saw this in Kmart I wanted to give it a try. I was a little… Read more ·  1

skeptical, especially when a hand held frother was a fraction of the price, but I figured it couldn't hurt. I love it! Not only does it do great froth, it can also heat milk (for the days I don't feel like froth) so I no longer need to put my drink in the microwave before drinking it like I was having to do before. With the hot high froth setting I have found I get the best results with full cream milk though, and at almost the maximum line for frothing. Doing that the froth is almost always thick and dense, just the way it should be. Also, not a criticism as such but interesting, this is the only milk frother I've seen that doesn't use visuals to indicate the button functions, just text, so do with that information as you will. Anyway, I don't know how I made hot chocolate without this, and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you pick this bad boy up on your next trip to Kmart.

EDITED: I've just looked through some of the other reviews and it looks like I might have been lucky not to have the problems some other people have had, but so far mine is working well.

A nice little frother - when it works! – Heated the milk adequately but barely frothed. Still, for the price, I thought it was ok. Then, after 6 weks, it stopped working, I took out the frother and put it back in and it worked again - twice! Now it's done for good and i'm returning it to Kmart. I guess you pay ofr what you get. Show details

Milk Frother stopped working – The milk frother from Kmart is the second one i have brough from Kmart, they only last a couple of months and then just stop working, the first one was very simular but then kmart came out with a new improved one so i thought maybe this one would last but it did not. both stopped working in a matter of months. i followed the cleaning instructions.… Read more

I only used it twice a day so it wasnt like it was being used constantly. I read the reviews on Kmarts site and all said good product but after the second one blew up i read reviews else where and many had the same issue with the product just stop working. I do not recommend this product to anyone Kmart should look into this or take it off their shelf

Cant believe this terrible quality – Sadly the second frother we bought today also does not make any froth at all. We had bought a frother a month or so ago and it worked perfectly well for a few weeks but then from one moment to the other the frother stopped working. Yes, can heat up milk but absolutely no frothing happening. Because we didnt have the invoice anymore from Kmart we… Read more

felt we couldnt return that Anko Milk frother but went specially to Kmart today (we live in a rural town so Kmart is not close by) to buy another Frother and left the not working frother home. Came home, tested and now THIS thing is NOT frothing either!!, no matter what we do, how much milk we put in or not , nothing, just heating up. So very disappointed, we feel perhaps someone had used the one we bought, (because was not working) and was repacked and we ended up with yet another defected Frother. This one is going back on Saturday when we make the trip of 50 km again to Kmart and we also plan now to bring the first frother with us. Going to write a letter with this return, have unfortunately just one Kmart invoice to show for. Terrible quality, Kmart, truly terrible.

Highly disappointed – I bought this 2 weeks ago from Kmart and it functioned fine at the beginning and then stopped working. The manual is very basic and doesn't provide any usefulinformation. The start button is hard and you have to really push it to turn it on even when it was working. I'm very disappointed with this purchase and my money has gone down the drain. All I can say isdon't buy it. Show details

Bad texturing – Doesn't texture the milk at all. Instead of creamy milk like you might expect, you get completely flat/thin milk with a thick layer of airy froth. Microwaving gives a better result. Show details

Very disappointing – I bought this milk frother in-store and am therefore unable to write a review on the Kmart web site - you can only do this if you purchase online. All the Kmart reviews I saw gave 5 stars from verified customers - my frother packed up after a month. I found the switches difficult to depress and none clicked to register on or off. In my opinion… Read more

the product is trying to be too smart by offering too many options. I have another frother of a different make - it has two choices, cold or hot froth and works every time.

Oh for a magnet whisk system not this fiddly irritating whisk that is a nightmare to get right – When you manage to insert the whisk it works well. However that can take so much fiddling it’s just not worth it. Buy a milk frother that uses the magnet system to insert the whisk. It is quicker and less stressful Show details

Trash – How this product got 5 stars by other uses it beyond me... It's either I got my self a dud or something is terribly off about how the product is supposed to function and how it actually functions. To test it out, I put in some water and turned on the heat milk function, it kept on going on and on, until the water started boiling. Which was… Read more

unexpected behaviour because the manual says it should turn off automatically when the water temperature reaches 65c. Then I tried whisk attachment and poured in some cold milk around min mark for the froth setting. Turned it on and 2 minutes later, my kitchen top was covered in frothy milk as the unit had failed to turn it-self off, milk was boiled, too frothy (even with low froth function). There was no usable milk left anywhere, except for the foam and the unit's bottom had burnt milk residue that took a good 5-10 minutes of scrubbing to get rid of.

Please confirm that this is a faulty product due to a failed thermostat and a timer perhaps, because this was simply terrible experience to say the least.

Great value for money frother – This milk frother does what it needs to do & is great value for money. After having to replace two more expensive milk frothers I purchased this one it seems great, has lasted longer than the previous ones I had & better value for money. Show details ·  1

Decent – When used as directed, this frother makes milk that is too frothy for a latte, even on the low froth setting, and the usable milk volume is only about 150ml. But you can get round these two issues by preheating the milk in a microwave, filling past the max level, then turning the frother off manually when the milk has frothed enough. The milk… Read more ·  2

temperature is good, and cleaning is easy. Differences from the Nespresso aeroccino: The Kmart frother has a spout, is a third the price, doesn't leak through the lid seal, and has four settings (heat, heat low froth, heat high froth, cold froth) to the aeroccino's one. It delivers similar quality milk, though a little less of it. Provided it lasts, the Kmart one looks much better value. Shame it's not, say, 50% larger.

That all said, preheating the milk then using a cheap stick frother might be simpler and better.

Best milk frother ever – This is without a doubt the best milk frother I have ever used. It outperforms my expensive aeroccino frother,,,,it also outperforms other big brand frothers I have owned…..hand frothers and French press frothers,. It has a larger capacity than most and it makes the most fantastic microfroth. It has high froth and low froth setting plus hot milk… Read more ·  1

and cold milk froth. I can’t believe how good this frother is. I haven’t had it long so I can’t say how long they last, but it looks pretty good quality to me.
