and I have noticed I fall into a deeper sleep then usual. It's great, but makes it a pain to want to leave the heavenly comfort in the morning. I just wish the tag stated if it was the medium firm or firm side. Would make it easy to work out. After buying a koala mattress I won't be buying a different brand again.

Wish I switched years ago, this mattress is the best I've ever had. I no longer wake up with back and hip pain and surprisingly the pins and needles in my finger tips at night have even stopped. just to change position. Despite this, we followed Koala’s guidance and persevered for the recommended 7 nights.

Each night, both my wife and I took over an hour, sometimes closer to two, to fall asleep, which confirmed it simply wasn’t the right mattress for us.

After the 7 nights, we contacted Koala to start the return process. We specifically requested a phone call, as we were interested in purchasing the mattress one level below the Luxe, paired with the Cooling Topper, and wanted advice before re ordering. Koala’s return communication also states that a customer service representative will call to finalise the return.

Despite this, 9 days later we have still not received a call. I followed up with two emails and made three separate requests via their live (AI) chat, all asking for a phone call, with no response.

While the return itself appears to have progressed via an automated process, this left us in a difficult position. We didn’t want to be without a mattress for several days while waiting for the refund before ordering another one. Not everyone has a spare $2,000 available immediately after Christmas to cover the overlap.

Due to the lack of communication and overall customer service experience, we’ve now decided to purchase a Sleeping Duck mattress once our refund is processed.

It’s a real shame, as we genuinely felt the model below the Luxe could have been a great option for us, but the customer service experience has completely undermined our confidence.

straightforward to put together. The boxes are large and exceedingly heavy, but once you get them inside it's all labelled well and comes together in an hour or so. The mattress stinks to high heaven when you first get it, but the smell was gone pretty quickly.

The mattress itself is very comfortable, and does a good job at insulating you from movement on the other side of the bed. I've got a bad back due to some bulging disks, and this bed has made my day to day pain significantly lower, presumably just through providing an adequate amount of support. It's not a hard mattress, with the topper giving you a bit of cushion to sink into, but underneath is an extremely supportive mattress. It's also extremely big.

We're still in the early stages so it's hard to say how durable it is, but the quality of the materials seems high enough to make it seem like it's going to last a while. I'll update the review if we run into any issues.

I hugely recommend this mattress (so far) and I've recommended it to people I know. While the price is higher than other mattresses, it's well worth the money for the quality of sleep that you get.

Quick delivery, easy to set up and hotel like comfort Mattress became slightly firmer after the first few weeks from when first delivered (as noted in the set up guide) having initially been quite soft, but overall remains very comfortable.

liking. The Koala customer team were great and committed to helping me find a solution for my comfort setting required. They sent a soft mattress topper for me to try and it has worked really well. I am still getting the support that my back requires, but my shoulders can get that extra plushness to alleviate any pain. Great mattress and great service from Koala.

My daughter suggested Koala mattresses to me as, her friends kept mentioning to her how comfortable her mattress was. She was right I love my Luxe mattress, I am not disturbed by - my dog who now sleeps with me (after husband died).
