Hello,
I was told that my television is 4K UHD compatible and for this reason I upgraded my Foxtel package. I have connected the new 4K Foxtel box using a 4K compatible HDMI cable and am receiving a screen message saying the equipment does not support the 4K UHD standard. How can this be sorted out?

Hi guys I have a KALED65UHDZA 65" no remote control. I'm trying to find a way to connect to wifi. I don't knw where or how to find it please help
For the purpose of automation I want to know if there is any way the Agora Series can be remotely accessed via the network or USB to remotely control. Our KOGAN is a 65" KALED65UHDZA. My challenge is to directly control the TV not using IR remote. This would be excellent for using voice commands via the Google home or Alexa as I want to have some voice control so my invalid father can as the TV to change channels using voice via Google Home and Home Assist automation.
Regard from Rod
Hi, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this model of TV does not have alternative control methods available and requires a compatible remote signal or the use of the physical controls on it to be operated.
In future, if you have any questions or concerns about our products, please contact our Help Desk for assistance here: external link
Thank you for your response. As this series is an Android device which is open platform it maybe a real advantage to KOGAN if the source code was released and made available to the Android developers community to add the appropriate code required to make this level of control possible. I have no doubts that the feature would put the KOGAN TV's in a very advantageous position as remote control flexibility is the single biggest issue for all domestic and commercial devices everywhere. Plus it would be free. I am sure you can imagine how that feature could relate to sales. There are so many great developers out there that would relish this opportunity as home automation is a huge prerequisite for the exploding automation market. I recommend you pass this on to product development and marketing as a suggestion for consideration of the entire KOGAN range of Android devices. I would like to know their response. Thank you for your message. Regards Rod
I have hooked up the tv via HDMI4 4K input to a foxtel IQ4 with the supplied 4k cdmi cable. The TV has a 4K UHD unsupported message coming up. (We have detected that your TV, HDMI cable and or other connected equipment do not support Foxtels 4k UHD standard).
What is happening please? This is supposed to be a 4K TV
Cheers Steve
Sorry- but once again, I cannot help you as I have so much trouble with this TV. You will need to contact Kogan Customer Care, but good luck with that! My TV was clearly advertised as Netflix compatible. Yet Kogan had to send me a code to connect for this as it wasn't on TV! Worst waste of money this TV..
Done4 good is right

Hi guys I have a KALED65UHDZA 65" no remote control. I'm trying to find a way to connect to wifi. I don't knw where or how to find it please help
is this model a smart tv?
Yes. Agora Smart TV.
my xbox one-x says that this TV is not 4K . I've plugged it in HDMI 4 but it remains in 1080p why does this TV not support 4K devices?
I don't have the same TV as you do, mine only has 3 HDMI ports.
Hi Mike, As the Kogan TV does not support HDR, this will need to be switched off to enable 4K mode on the Xbox One X. To do this, press the Xbox button on the controller and go to System > Settings > Display & sound, then choose Advanced video settings > 4K TV details.
Please feel free to use the following Xbox Support guide for more information on confirming that the correct video settings are selected: external link
