Kogan Agora – We purchased this phone for my daughter a couple of years ago and after a couple of months the phone stopped charging, when contacting Kogan they asked for a video clip of what phone was doing so videoed with my phone plugging Agora in and booting up. Sent clip to Kogan then got a response saying clip was too large for them to view (Are you Kidding!), had no response since so will definitely not waste my money with their phones again. Show details
Unreliable & full of bugs. Choose something else – I've had a kogan phone for approx 6 months now and it has been a source of frustration. For a while, it would restart around 50% of the time when I tried to make a call, answer a call or open an app. A factory reset mostly fixed this issue. It is now constantly dropping out, showing full reception which then disappears when I try to make or… Read more
answer a call. Mobile data speed is frustratingly slow, if it decides to work at all. It is nearly unusable, can't wait to get a new phone. Don't be tempted by the price of these, choose something else.
Save more money and buy from a better company – I bought a kogan phone considering it is an Australian company and would back up their products. I also bought 3 years extended warranty. The phone started having jams and automatic going into airplane mode. I sent the phone and it has been many weeks I am with out phone now. The response I got from Kogan was very horrible and they did not help me… Read more

Bought 2 Agora HD+ Smartphones and after 4 months they are both not working!! – After reading the very positive Cnet reviews on the phone I am very disappointed that both of the phones have failed after 4 months. The first phone started having some issues with the screen after a month or so and the second phone started having charging issues after 2 months. 1 phone will not charge and on the other one the screen has stopped working.

hmm. don't bother – I found the computer to be quite good - except that so often programs would just 'fall off' whilst in the middle of doing something and often have to start over several times. Calls would drop out frequently, its so fragile that it falls apart even if dropped from only a foot off the ground. Its definitively the most fragile phone I've ever used… Read more
wifi - till it broke due to falling on it. all the android and Facebook functions very, very fragile, falls apart very easily, breaks easily, programs will stop and drop off the screen in the middle of tasks, calls drop out
You get what you pay for – We bought the Kogan Agora 5" smart phone for $165 or thereabouts and it lasted 3 months before it dumped the address book. A Telstra phone tech was able to retrieve the numbers and shortly afterwards the phone refused to turn on. The Kogan procedure for returning a faulty product is so complex, it discourages you from bothering. I'm persevering… Read more
with trying to return the phone but fast running out of patience. I'm just about at the point of cutting my losses and giving Kogan a miss. Last Kogan product I buy. The price Only lasted 3 months - complicated returns process for faulty items

Product failure - twice! – I purchased this phone with a 2 week delivery date. It arrived about a month later. It worked fine for 3 weeks than died. I sent it back and eventually received another one back. It died after 2 days. This phone has a serious manufacturers fault that, apparently is not their fault. They are "not responsible" for the disastrous quality of their own brand of products. Rudeness at their call centre doesn't help either. 100% failure rate.
