I've never actually wall-mounted my TVs...but looking at it at other people's places, does not look like it is difficult, provided you have enough hands to hold the thing up steady while you start bolts..

No, it's not a smart tv
its certainly powered by android OS, but the TV isn't setup as a smart tv, where you can install apps from the user panel. The idea is to use the TV which isn't replaced all that often with a Chromecast Ultra or similar streamer to put the smarts from your phone onto to TV, so rather than upgrade your TV, you just need to upgrade your phone when the time comes.
how does this model compare with Samsung 8000 75 inch tv ?
The Kogan is about a third of the price, half the size and not as good as the Samsung. You're kind of comparing apples with bananas.

Kogan - can you please confirm the length of self tapping screw required to be able to fit a wall mount kit to the bottom holes on the rear of the TV as there are no proper mounting screw provisions, just small holes in the plastic.

Kogan series 7 smart full HD LED. KALED40AF7000STA Bought December 2018. Does it need Firmware update. I noticed the USB option is no longer available on the home button.
No it doesn’t. It was a complete waste of money and Kogan is no longer answering my emails.

Using the Ps4 Pro, will that put the TV unit into SDVM or will it preserve the UHD mode ?

Is the 2180p HDMI cable compatible to connect the PS4 pro.

How can the Contrast, Brightness, Colour, Tint Nd Sharpness be adjusted? On the menu they are grayed out and I can't work out out to adjust. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, thank you for your question. Your TV's picture menu should contain an option to change the 'preset' for the picture, which changes those settings. One of the 'presets' is 'User-Defined', or a similar named setting, which will allow you to modify those settings manually.

Hi there, the big question for me is how these panels cope with moving pictures. After a big holiday last year I showed some hiking videos from Nepal in different friend's homes. One Samsung panel was startlingly good - I kept saying, "That's what it looked like!" It wasn't OLED or anything, just a decent one, perhaps $2500 last year. How good are these Kogan panels for movement? Sport etc? It's the thing that would make me finally give them a go. Cheers.
My kogan tv just arrived today, set it up and the sound is a constant ecko style. Even selecting sound mode button, still sounds like it's surround sound. Any ideas?
