5 Jane  · Amazing chocolates, fast delivery. Packed well with dry ice. Every chocolate is delicious. Fantastic service. I meant to give 5 stars in my last review
1 chet.fnord  · Rubbish. They don't even respond to emails after you order. Premium prices requires professionalism.
1 Pritam D.  · Don’t fall into the trap of so called discount. Whatever they discount, will be taken out in the name of GST. Foul play!
5 diana  · Love the hamper box it is simply divine, every variety is so smooth that is in the hamper. No other chocolate compares to Koko Black.
2 stuart Z.  · Not worth it – Way over priced for what they offer. $300/kg? You're having a laugh.
2 Grigory V.  · Below everage chocolates in really nice packaging – Below everage chocolates in really nice packaging. Marketing, marketing, marketing...

My order for a birthday gift was not received and was lost in transit “apparently “. Although I did receive a number of text telling me the delivery was underway: when approaching the customer service team they offered an apology and a refund , which in my opinion is bare minimum effort: Such a dissatisfying experience, they didn’t try to… Read more

rectify the order as a good will gesture either : This shows me this company have no genuine desire for a customer first attitude and little concern when mistake are made :

If you love matcha DO NOT get Koko Black's Australian macadamias with matcha white chocolates. Bad quality/old matcha. Taste like fish indicates low quality matacha powder. Show details

Quality Chocolates?? – 17.7.2024 I decide to try the Belgian Truffles and they are excellent. These Truffles are indeed a Premium product deserving a 5/5 rating. Encouraged, I try the Salted Caramel which tastes like ordinary milk chocolate with melted Caramel. An acceptable average quality product rating a 3/5. The overall rating improves to ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️. Like other… Read more

reviewers I find these “Chocolates” sub-standard. They don’t melt in the mouth and have a texture of plastic. Just awful and what to do with them now as it’s inappropriate to gift them away. A shameful waste of money. Rating: 1/5

Worst service I’ve ever experienced – I tried to change my delivery address straight after making the order and received no response over a 5 day period (I tried their contact email, calling and their chat box on several occasions). They delivered to the wrong address and wouldn’t refund me.

Another negative review to add to these others. This company are impossible to deal with. I placed an order, chose a delivery date but when it arrived there was no senders name in the gift card. So all the recipient saw was “happy birthday”.… Read more

Useless!!!!! I emailed them numerous times, spoke to different people each time. No apology just some humble excuse.

Follow-up  · Yes it was. No senders name on card. Customer service? WHAT customer service. There was none

Fabulous chocolates from master chocolatiers – Can't understand the negative reviews. These chocolates are fabulous! Beautifully presented and tastewise, melt- in-the-mouth gorgeous. They deserve their reputation as the best in Australia alongside Haighs. Can thoroughly recommend to the discerning among us. Show details

I cannot speak highly enough of my on line experience with Koko Black – I ordered chocolates for Easter, using their special of spend $120 and save $20. After pouring over the fabulous selection available (I had no problem spending the money) I found to my delight that I had free shipping. My chocolates arrived in the time specified (I live in country Victoria), beautifully and carefully packaged with cold packs to… Read more

Bought a small individual choc Florentine. Really disappointing. Not much flavour to either the chocolate or the toffee nut topping, but the texture of the fat ingredient was prominent. Not a ni e taste. At $4 very overpriced for the quality. Wouldn't buy this brand again. Show details

Used to be good. I would buy boxes of twenty or so for my staff at christmas. But now they've gone bad. Wife bought a selection of 6 when I was recovering from hospital. They all tasted old, definitely like they were past the "best-before" date and way worse than supermarket chocolate. Have moved all business over to Adore. Show details

Disappointed. Ordered Easter treats to meet promotional offer requirements, yet did not receive the promotional offer (a free bag of eggs if spend exceeded X amount). I emailed Koko Black and its response was, oh well, too bad. There was no interest in honouring its promotion. Disappointing as we have been purchasing their products for many years now but will be reluctant to do so in future.

Massive price jump in a matter of a couple of weeks. 36 Boxed chocolates went from $99.90 to $125 in literally 2 weeks. Such a huge jump, nothing gradual just an almost 30$ increase. Crazy and disappointing as I have purchased from them a few times now. The chocolate is nice but not THAT nice, for this price you’re better off going with Godiva. Been around longer, the chocolate tastes better and their prices are relatively consistent.

Terrible client service – Great chocolates but appalling service. It took over 2 weeks for a Lunar New Year gift to arrive, which made me look bad. Then, customer service tried to excuse it by pointing out that their website says that there can be delays. Will I spend another $3,000 with them? Show details

Free shipping doesn’t mean efficient service – As others have said, poor service. They kept my order in their warehouse for a week before shipping it Melbourne to Sydney. Unacceptable!! Online order placement to receipt took 2 weeks, so I suspect they hold onto orders and ship in bulk. There is no telephone number so you have to correspond by filling out a form online. First response is from a chatbot, so you have to persist to get a human response. I will not buy from them again. Show details

Dont order from website – I ordered two customised fathers day gift boxes, for two different people. Koko black made a error and used the same photo and wording on both sleeves of the gift boxs, I contacted them straight away to advise them of the error, assuming it was a easy fix and they could just send out the correct sleeve for the box. You would think they would try and fix their own error asap rather then just avoiding the customer altogether.

Online Order Problems Don't Get Answered – My niece in the UK ordered a box of chocolates on 30th July 24 for my wife here in Australia . issues and no phone number even for the Head Office . It's a great product but this is very poor and unacceptable . How my niece will get her money back I have no idea . Much as I love the product I am not going to support this brand again - and this from a chocolate lover !! Beware everyone if you have a problem with an online order there appears to be no recourse

Disappointing – I was given a dark chocolate egg for Easter. I knew Koko black is expensive so I was expecting something special. What a disappointment. Egg was uneven - very thin in parts and thick in others. Chocolate was gritty - it doesn’t melt in the mouth like most chocolate. I don’t like Lindt because it’s two creamy but this chocolate was not smooth… Read more

A hamper of truly awful chocolate – Our family received an enormous Koko Black chocolate hamper as a gift. The packaging was gorgeous and there was a huge variety of chocolates. Pretty much everything tasted awful. The chocolate tasted cheap and did not melt in your mouth. The filled chocolates were horribly sickly sweet and completely inedible. What a disappointment! Absolutely not worth it at all. We binned most of it.

Beautiful gift for someone who won't eat it – Received a milk chocolate rabbit for easter as a gift and was excited to try it as it's quite expensive. To start, the moulds used for all their products are really beautiful, the chocolate for the rabbit at least seems generally even thickness too. The chocolate itself is just bad, it's hard to describe but it just tastes cheap, but even as… Read more

someone who enjoys the occasional cheap chocolate, it was just bad. At the price I expected something like Haigh's or maybe Royce or something, maybe Lindt or Cadbury, Red Tulip? It's not even a competition, any chocolate with any brand name is better, it's equivalent or even a bit worse to that chocolate that you see sometimes where it doesn't even have a name attached,

I'm honestly shocked they're able to keep in business, every bite was disappointing such that I was looking forward to just getting it done, considering that anything else would be eaten in one go, the half eaten one of my siblings I see on the dining room table implies she wasn't enthralled either. To be clear, I dislike dark chocolate and like sugar so really the taste of this should be made for me, but even for me, it's barely even chocolatey, let alone decadent as I'd expect for the price, If I had bought it, no matter the price I'd still feel it a waste.

The closest equivalent I can think of is those little decorative shell soaps, pretty as a decoration but not very good and cheap feeling as actual soap, but they're soap and can remain decorative, you do need to eventually eat chocolate.

Terrible service – Delivery dates are wrong, as after you make a purchase it says to allow an extra 4 days for packing which isn’t helpful over Christmas. My package therefore arrived after when I needed to give it as a present. The customer service number does not get answered and my email was ignored. Will never use them again. Show details
