Koorong ebooks are not for iPhones
Don't buy Koorong ebooks if you're running the latest iOS software on your iPhone. The Koorong ereader app isn't compatible with ios 13.1.3 An email from support (months ago) advised they are aware of the problem but there have been no updates to the app & no refund for purchases.
Friendly staff but products way overpriced
I used to shop in Koorong when I was religious. Their stock was always good and they always had variety of products for purchase. What Ive noticed though is that they always raise their prices, almost every few months. Their books and mugs are so overpriced it is crazy. The mug that cost me $8 last year priced at $16 this year. It is cheaper to buy their bibles at online shops like Booktopia and Book Depository. The staff in Blackburn store in Victoria are very friendly and helpful, no complaint there. Thank God I am not religious anymore so I wont go bankrupt buying from Koorong.
Shocking Beyond Measure Customer Service
Koorong have a major problem both with their Ebooks, and staff who waste your time, and are incapable of the most basic Customer Service of taking Ownership by sending emails back and forth over weeks to me instead of simply sending an email internally to another Department, to resolve a matter!

When unable to read the Ebooks, and unsuccessful attempts at troubleshooting, I asked for the 3 books to be sent, and despite spending huge $'s over decades, the person dealing with me, was so petty and concerned ...about the small difference in price of 2 available books and postage versus keeping a long term customer; it was distressing and painful that Koorong would employ or keep on this individual in "Customer Care."

Fantastic for online shopping
I have been ordering online from this company for over 10 years and rarely have issues. I live in regional WA so I expect shipping to take longer than to a major city but I've always received my parcels within 6 weeks at the very longest (usually receive them in a week or 2). My orders do not always arrive in the same box (as they ship from different stores across Australia where they are in stock); however, they do not charge additional postage (you only pay once (unless your order qualifies for free postage). On the rare occasions that I was ...missing an item or the item was faulty, I contacted them via email with a very fast response and they always replaced (or provided) my item. Very happy with the quality of products and I will definitely continue to order online from Koorong.
Great store, but don't order online
Don't bother ordering online, my one order came in 3 separate boxes, on 3 different days, I got given three different invoices which didn't add up to the same cost which came up in my order total. (It was 10 cheaper, so I'm not fussing, but it was confusing keeping track).
Instore is great, staff are friendly and helpful and there is a huge amount of stock and variety. You can tell where their focus is, so don't bother ordering online. (And, please, DO NOT depend on them for Christmas presents....

Wonderful pleasant lady! We rang up Koorong from Twin Waters in Queensland looking for Billy Grahams best selling book "STORM WARNING." We had a great experience using KOORONG for the first time, and cheaper and quicker than AMAZON! Nice to speak to an Aussie for a change in customer service, and a genuine lady at that. Forget about Ordering Online
For a Christian book store these people are rather rude. Don’t bother complaining about their customer service, they never do anything wrong, and everything is always your fault.
They claim that they ship books from their Perth store, but that is a blatant lie. Their online orders are all processed from West Rhyde, which at Christmas time can be a major problem. I ordered a book that they had in stock in Perth. After it hadn’t arrived in a week, I enquired and was told they were out of stock. I checked and they still had stock in Perth....When I challenged this, they denied any wrong-doing and claimed maybe the online system wouldn’t update unless I was actually purchasing the book again??? When I rang the Perth store and confirmed that they had multiple copies, their online staff still denied this was true. This year, I ordered in plenty of time. Somehow the order was doubled, and they sent & charged me for two of everything. Again they denied any wrong doing on their part. They refused to even consider that there might have been a problem in their system, and claimed I must have approved the whole order. Hmm, like I wouldn’t notice the order costing twice as much??? I will never order from them again. Lousy Customer Service for Online Orders
