If I could give zero stars, I would. The initial sales process at Kratzmann was all smiles and promises — but the moment they had my money; the customer service vanished into thin air. From the get-go the caravan had issues: half-hearted cleaning (inside & out) of the van before handover, no air conditioning remote control and missing front grab… Read more

rail cap. I reported the problems immediately, only to be met with radio silence. Weeks passed with no updates, no returned calls, and certainly no urgency. When I finally got through, I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Their so-called “warranty” is a joke. The service department is either grossly incompetent or simply doesn’t care. No wonder this company is closing down? Save yourself the stress and steer clear of this company, no matter how enticing their closing down specials seem!

Worst after sales company I have ever dealt with. Called 5 times and sent numerous emails. The only way I made contact was through the back door calling sales, yes they definitely answer then. I will never deal with them again. Buyers be aware. Show details

Can’t find a zero rating. Having read reviews about this appalling company, we avoided any warranty work repairing the shonky Apollo “workmanship” ourselves. Let’s see, ensuite door fell off not 50k from Burpengary, microwave cabinet disintegrated, latches so poorly fitted doors would not close, TV mount fell apart and this was driving home on… Read more

the Bruce! Wiring had the brake safe wired to reversing lights and crimp connections self disconnecting. However, one of our window frames developed a crack so warranty was needed. A new window was eventually fitted and on picking up the van, another frame had cracked. Kratzmann’s organised the replacement and after an enormous wait, we received a confirmation email booking us in. Supposed to be a one day job and after two with no contact, we chased them up. They don’t answer phone or email, you have to trick them by pretending you want to buy a new van to get a response. Oh, sad story, your window didn’t turn up. We were furious and demanded they have our van ready to pick up when we arrived. Of course that didn’t happen but one warranty item, a piece of loose chequer plate was re-affixed. So the first window they replaced leaks, a LOT and the chequer plate didn’t survive the trip home. Do not buy anything from this crew, they have no idea how to run a business. Their name has been rubbish for years despite staff changes. The actual van is quite poorly constructed so we’re at a loss as to our next step. No one will deal with an Apollo warranty claim, reputable repairers want payment up front leaving you to claim from Apollo. We’re taking the van to Apollo in December for the warranty work, hoping for a better outcome……

BUYER BEWARE - NO CARE TAKEN - DEFECTIVE - OWNED BY APOLLO!! – I attended the caravan and camping expo in August 2022, and purchased a caravan that was there, a Windsor Genesis White no kms driven, for the purchase price of circa $90,000. Noting that one of the inclusions added at the time of entering the Contract, was the inclusion of an oven, confirming at the time of negotiation and several instances… Read more

after Contract execution, that this was a deal breaker as I will not be able to maximise the caravan’s use without it, especially as a family caravan, and in fact, I do not stay in a caravan that does not have an oven. There were also some safety concerns with the caravan present at the expo, one specifically concerning the extremely sharp edges on the bunk bed frames that double up as a ladder and edging to the bunks, this would surely not pass any form of safety audit. At no time up to the day or two before planned handover, did they inform me that the oven was going to be delayed and therefore not installed prior to collection, this being made clear was a deal breaker, and the handover date was also a deal breaker as the caravan was intended to be used a day after collection. I was told that it may arrive in 1 or 2 weeks. Upon taking possession, we were run through the caravan, noting that the safety concerns were not previously addressed, the caravan was not ready for collection, the caravan did not meet contractual obligations, the caravan has been found to be incomplete, a safety hazard, not fit for purpose or intended use, and parts missing or not working. Furthermore, upon attempting to leave the premises on the first occasion, a member of the company ran out to us and stopped us from driving further, the cabling connecting the caravan to the towing vehicle was dragging on the ground. This clearly demonstrates the insufficient length of cabling to back of vehicle to enable turning of the towed caravan without disconnection occurring, a rather serious safety matter in itself, and the wiring itself sloppy and visually appeared substandard. This was ‘somewhat’ rectified prior to the second attempt to complete the handover of substandard and incomplete caravan. During handover, I requested my money back and to terminate the Contract for failure to meet obligations, the representative of Kratzmann informed me that they were unable to provide a refund with no reason provided for this refusal, I informed him that it does not meet consumer guarantee and I am entitled to a refund under consumer law, again refusing to provide a refund, offering no resolution or resolution process for complaint. As I was provided no option, having paid circa $90,000, in full, I took possession after approximately 6 hours of attempting to be provided a refund, as clearly there were unresolved issues and not being provided the goods per Contract. During this ‘handover’ process, numerous defects were identified, which resulted in them stating they will lodge warranty claims on my behalf for those items, no confirmation as to its progress has been provided, and I stated that defects upon handover is their problem, not a warranty claim, this was ignored. Prior to leaving their premises, these ‘warranty claims’ were apparently lodged. I find this illogical and proof of unacceptable consumer breaches. The afternoon on the same day, I called the them to ask were the tv remote was located, as every cupboard was searched, it is to this day, still not located and as such, the tv is not fully functioning. During this call I also asked why the igniter button on stove top was not functioning, I was offered the excuse that the power may not be switched on for stove top, this was double checked as was found to be switched on, however, the igniter still did not function. As you will see from the attached, there are wiring issues, parts not functioning, parts missing, caravan simply not fit for purpose or intended use, and definitely not as required pursuant to the Contract. These issues are the current matters unresolved, and does not include for matters that were addressed prior to taking possession of the unfit for purpose caravan. To clarify, the caravan is not: • Of acceptable quality including safety and durable issues); • Match the description on the Contract; • Not fit for stated purpose; and • Repairs not provided in a reasonable period This will go to QCAT as a result of their continued failures.

WORST POST SALES SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED! – NEVER BUY A NEW CARAVAN FROM THIS DISTRIBUTOR!!! response to multiple serious emails, calls and messages… so many fails including messed up service bookings, hours of driving to be told not booked in, despite emails and texts to the contrary! Big expense of time and resources.

Worst of all they installed an inverter and GPO for us before delivery, invoiced by them, only for us to discover installed in the wrong place and then to discover 3 months after purchase it was NOT INSTALLED TO THE LATEST NOV 2023 CODE, which we immediately reported to them through a qualified repairer in a report with photos…

Only to be literally told by a service staff member at Kratzmann that it was not their issue, they don’t care about ACCC rules, the van was roadworthy at pickup! I was so shocked, and since then we have been ignored, by staff, by managers and owners despite many emails, phone calls and messages!

Will be pursuing through fair trade, but will need to fix the serious inverter issue at another certified repairer first, as they will not communicate or resolve and it has to be addressed for insurance!

I REPEAT If you want a van they distribute, go to another regional supplier. This crew should be shut down.

Completely unacceptable service

Absolutely avoid kratzmann! – From sewerage that overflows into the caravan to a broken battery charger with dodgy wiring, and a broken awning that fell off on the highway, our caravan came with it all. Unfortunately we did not buy from Stuart as we got a better deal due to them not having one available. Stuart apologised but was happy we were able to purchase one to start our new journey. Stuart followed up with a call this afternoon 14/11 just to check and see if he could help us any further. Had a chat and said happy travels. You know where I am if you need anything… with that I said thank you so much Stuart… We were very surprised at the store. Quite alit inside and very helpful staff too.

These individuals have mastered the sales and handover processes. Our initial experience was highly satisfactory. However, our positive experience was short-lived when our air conditioner malfunctioned and necessitated a warranty replacement. impossible to contact via phone or email. Secondly, they attempted to shift the responsibility for the air conditioner replacement onto me, suggesting that I should contact the importer directly to make the necessary arrangements. After enduring a protracted period of frustration and seeking intervention from the Fair Trading Commission, they finally agreed to replace my air conditioner. However, the earliest possible repair date was eight weeks, which we reluctantly accepted given our limited options.

During the warranty repair, we requested that the van also undergo a service, which we had paid for. The service report indicated that the lock on the front toolbox required replacement and that an order had been placed for the necessary parts. Additionally, it was noted that the tyres were overinflated. However, upon returning the van home and reviewing the service report, we discovered that the shower vent and fan were malfunctioning. These components were functioning properly prior to the van being dropped off for repairs. In an attempt to rectify this oversight, I contacted the company and left a voicemail message, as well as sending two emails. However, despite my efforts, I have received no response from their warranty department. Frustrated and seeking to alleviate further stress, we have decided to pay for the services of a competent repairer to address the additional warranty issues with the van.

To prevent others from experiencing similar difficulties, I strongly advise against dealing with this company. Their lack of interest in honouring legal warranty rights makes the hassle they impose far too great. We have filed a formal complaint with New Age Caravans and have resolved to refrain from future interactions with Kratzmann.

Zero success to achieving warranty work repair – Dave: Bought an 18ft Coromal van at brissie show in Jun 2022, built 12/2022, received it 01/2023. As of 11th of October it has been 3 months and still no resolution or date for repair.

The service department person I’m liaising with appears genuine with concern of the little support I’m receiving, I’ve had to advised them to achieve a resolution by the end of the week or it’s off to QLD Office of Fair Trading.

My biggest fear is I’m struggling to get my first request of warranty work resolved and when I submitted it the service person at the time was up front with me and said it could take 3 months to just get a response from their warranty provider (majestic).

I have also purchased an extension of warranty and now wondering what if this is going to be an on going issue dealing with Kratzmann (the company/seller/Dealer that sold me the new van.

I know my mental health isn’t doing well with the worry of it all.

Caravan Gas Man mobile service. Replaced thermostat and off we went. The thermostat was faulty from when built in 2/21 have report from Gas man. I contacted Kratzmanns to request refund of the $300 as they misdiagnosed the problem and didn't use a licenced gas fitter to test the HWS. I questioned them as to whether this should have been picked up on the Gas Certificate when we purchased the van in 5/22 no response. The only response is like a broken record "out of warranty you bought a 2nd hand caravan". No such thing as Customers Service. When I said I would like to take this further I was told I was "threatening her" and she would terminate the call!! (Seriously!) I said I would talk to Coromol was told I wouldn't get anywhere with her as it's out of warranty and purchased a 2nd hand van. Kratzmanns were happy to take $300 for a misdiagnosis and were happy to take $1600 for a new HWS which wasn't needed had we not got a 2nd opinion!!! Talk about upselling!! The makers of the thermostat offered to send us a new for free!!! How good is that. We will never never ever ever deal with Kratzmanns again whether it be upgrading, service or spare parts.

After 8 months with this van my partner and I decided to cut our losses and sold it back to Kratzmanns which they surprisingly made quick and easy.
