Cheap Quality Garbage – Not worth the money. After 2-3 year the stainless steel spring rusted and broke off. Real stainless steel should not rust, a so they must be using low quality Chinese fake stainless steel.The skirt keeps coming off the head as well. I cant see myself spending money on Kreepy Krauly again. I can't find a replacement spring but the whole part of the hose it $65! Stainless steel should last for ever not a few years. Show details
Great machine – This is the second Kreepy I have had. both have been excellent performers in the pool which looks sparkling. It cleans leaves and any dirt without a problem. It is left in the pool and presents no problem when swimming. Show details
Better products available – Bought this unit last summer ,( had an expensive robot which only lasted 2 years) . Decided to go back to basics as I had an original kreepy krawly years ago . Not great – Badly designed, bought 1 after using cheap diaphragm types because I thought that costing so much more they would be good. Had nothing but trouble from day 1. inline in the main water intake and debris has to pass it to go through to the filter box. At the other end of the pool cleaner it gets worse as it has convoluted piping that doesnt allow larger items to flow out through to the filter box either. You also cannot pull it apart to clean out the troublesome leaves and get it going again. I have had mine out of the pool for a couple of weeks so the leaf build up can dry out and fall back out the bottom. Other reviews say that it is good in exactly the conditions I have, I found that not to be the case at all.

Good so far – Recently purchased the vtx-3 to replace a hy Clor sprinter that didn’t move and this has worked perfectly so far. Pool floor was dirty as so it’s pretty easy to see coverage and it’s been able to fully clean the floor and partly up the walls of a larger concrete pool. So good it scored me tickets to the 2021 AFL Grand Final!! – I’m not gonna lie. I don’t own the VTX-3. I don’t even have a pool. But after winning 2 grand final tickets on behalf of the good people at Kreepy Krauly I may just be digging that hole in time for the summer and picking up one of these bad boys! of our house is easily removed and having the VTX-3 in the background does wonders for when I want to swim in some nice blue water. Gone are the days of not being able to swim in the summer until I muster up the courage to manually scoop out the leaves and bugs floating on the top of my pool because I never got round to buying a pesky pool cover. Sometimes I have to check in the morning if my alarm clock has gone off because I feel like I'm still dreaming, the kreepy krauly is great and if you have it automatically on during the day in summer you don't have to stress about getting in a dirty pool after you've chlorinated it. I also no longer have to dread getting in the pool with the local spiders from my garden which is a major relief as I am a major arachnophobe, but don't tell my girlfriend, she still gets me to kill the spiders for her haha. In terms of ease of use the product is generally well easy to use if you follow the manual given when you purchase it but videos on the internet about pool maitenance products prwtty much address any left over questions you might have.

4 years young and still ticking – Had this cleaner for 4 years and haven’t had to replace anything on it yet. We only have a small fibreglass pool, but it hasn’t skipped a beat. said for the genuine one it is less than $90, which seems pretty reasonable. There are cheaper ones on eBay, but have found generic parts with my last Kreepy Kadet made it have problems.
Overall good cleaner.
Parts wear out too fast – I bought my Kreepy VTX last year. It does a fair job while it is working but doesn't get to all parts of my pool. Now the parts have worn out and apparently the long Kreepy warranty only works for the parts that don't wear out. I think it should last longer than 15 months. Show details
