So far, this is the best pool cleaner I've found for my pool. (See my reviews of others). It does not get stuck, and uses the least amount of consumables. It's now 2 1/2 years old, and is going to need some TLC to keep going much longer - the feet are starting to wear out (pebble crete) and the drive axle will occasionally need to be pushed back into the correct position. All in all. I am pleased with this one. Show details
Doesn't do the job, falls apart and you have to hold it down to make it sink to the bottom or it just floats on top of the pool. It is the cheapest piece of junk. Show details
Worked well once the rep came to my place and replaced the entire top section, wouldn't stay together. Then worked well for 2 years and 4 months, drive shaft came through the side wall as per other persons review. Returned to the purchase shop. They followed up with the suppliers, sorry out of warranty. if people are happy to get a bit over 2 years out of it then is an option. I expected more. Will not purchase any product of there's again. Perfect! – We found this little cleaner is a real goer whipping around our vinyl lined inground pool so quickly, covers all the pool bottom in just a few hours as we don't need the sides to be done.Very gentle on the liner to! Have had it 5 months. Show details · 1
Excellent product – Wanted a pool cleaner that worked on our 3 speed pool pump when set on low, and this one performed perfectly, very happy doesn’t get stuck in corners and just plugs away keeping the bottom of the pool spotless. Show details · 1
Lilttle Sprinta, little beauty – It took a few false starts with other brands and designs and I was despairing that there was not a vac system to suit my strangely shaped (lagoon) and variable depth pool, on the market. Sprinta to the rescue. It does everything I need it to do. I have a lot of gum trees around me, and other deciduous trees that seem to be attracted to my pool. … Read more
The Sprinta copes with it all. If it sucks up a twig it is so easy to clear the blockage. I recently had the pool repainted and after a few months I put my Sprinta back in the water. A problem developed that the YouTube videos didn’t cover, and while attempting to resolve the issue via the website communication avenue, I received a phone call from the company (personal service that is such a rarity these days) and the lady set me on the right path to fix my problem. I can’t speak highly enough of the Kreepy Krawly brand and the service I was able to access within Australia. The price is also fantastic. Mine has been in daily use for over four years. Love it, and would recommend it to anyone.
Knotted hoses and failure to climb – Cleans bottom of dust and leaves but the hose literally gets bound up almost in a knot in the corners, from which it can’t escape. The hose from the Sprinta climbs over the hose near the skimmer and that’s where it stops. Wore a set of feet pads out in 6 months on the fibreglass pool floor being stationary. Does not climb walls whatsoever. … Read more
Literally I have to untangle hose every 15-20 minutes.
Tried leaving the hose sections in the sun to make them more pliable to no avail.
I have resorted to manually vacuuming the pool floor and scrubbing the walls down myself.
Bottom line, the Sprinta can’t be left alone without very regular intervention.
Totally Frustrated

Doesn't clean walls as specified on suppliers website – Seems to be a good machine. However, I required a wall cleaner, this does not climb the walls, Clark rubber website states "Fully integrated float for balance on walls & complete pool coverage." As well as " Floor and wall coverage" Very disappointed in the false advertisement and misleading information Show details

Kreepy Krauly Sprinta Plus – We are very happy with the performance of our Kreepy Krauly Sprinta Plus in our recently installed swimming pool. It appears to be very efficient in removing any dirt, leaves etc from the pool bottom. What it does not collect on one day, it will collect the next day such is the random pattern of the cleaner. Would recommend this product. Show details · 1
Easy install, works well so far – The unit was very easy to install, and did not need adjustments. Works well so far, but does not really climb walls, but then none of the ones we have had do that well. Show details
Fantastic product – I was very sceptical about pool cleaners in general, but my Sprinta Plus is excellent. In the 20 plus years I have had the pool, the pool has never been cleaner. Thoroughly recommended product. Show details · 1

Buyer beware – Low quality product, no longevity. After 3 years of normal use, this product has broken. The drive shaft has pierced the leg and I was quoted 200 dollars to repair it. This appears to be due to poor build quality and cheap materials. This sprinta plus was always very easily clogged and failed to go up the walls. Kreepy Krawley do not stand behind thier product. Avoid this one. Show details

False advertising - it will not climb walls – Bought a sprinta plus last year . It used to climb walls now its a bottom dweller. Advertising (inc clarke rubber) says it cleans all walls..... Yet the company states on this website that its not a wall climber .. Why would you buy a pool cleaner that does half a job?? Have installed a new filter and increased the pump speed with no success. Any ideas how to fix before we thow it out/ask for a refund due to false advertising. Show details

keeps breaking – when its not falling apart it works well, but I have had 2 in 3 years (first was replaced under warranty} the second broke November 2023, very disappointed as they are not cheap and I have never had a problem with the old hammer head type Kreepy Krauly. Show details

Great floor cleaner, adjustment needed for wall climbing – Purchased based on Choice article. Cleans floor very well but walls are tricky as you need to pay attention to weight placement. The manual could be improved by adding diagram to placement of first weight, as the online video explains but could be better too. I've managed to get it to wall climb, though it's inconsistent and maybe due to a small… Read more
buildup of invisible algae on the walls. I also purchased the custom plate auto-skim to remove pool supplied vacuum plate from cause of non-climbing. Still early days but it will climb walls under optimal conditions but doesn't do steps & ledge/landing.
Very good pool cleaner – 3 month review: Moved from the MX8 due to gum leaf jamming issues The sprinta is a far superior cleaner , it picks up all debry Pool is spotless as a result Runs well on evo 6 star pump running medium Recommend this over a robot if you have heavy leaf litter as it’s cleaning full time Don’t have a view on longevity yet hence 4 stars. Best Auto pool Vac we have had! – The Sprinta plus or as the kids call it. SPEEDY is brilliant. We have a 10 x 4m in-ground pool. Other cleaners have all gotten stuck in the corners and needed babysitting to do a good job. Not Speedy, I have had it 2 days and my pool is the cleanest it has been. Doesn't get stuck, does the sides, does the deep end corners and in probably half the time of other cleaners. Show details
Creepy crauly sprinta – Brilliant unit. My husband spends much less time scooping the pool now as this little unit works super well. The water is much cleaner and we are very pleased with our purchase. Show details
Good, but breaks after a couple of years – When it works it is great. Our pool has problematic corners and it is the only one that does not get stuck. However, I am about to purchase my third one as the previous two lasted only about two years each. The problem is that the mechanism that keeps the ball-bearings in place eventually disintegrates. For our pool there is nothing better so I have this large expense every couple of years. Show details

The smallest leaf will stop it its tracks – Tried it for two weeks and have given up. Firstly, to get it to sink is always an issue. It wants to float, even with the supplied weights and shaking it madly to expel air. When it does work, the smallest twig or leaf will stop it. It's called 'Sprinter' because the pool owner has to sprint around the pool all day supervising the cleaning operation. I hope the store takes it back. Show details

Very stoppable, even by small debris – Bough one brand new and it's been running in my pool for 6hrs now. On the plus side it has now removed about 80% of the debris (leaves) in my pool - and that is about one basket of leaves. However, I had to retrieve the Sprinta plus 6 times during that time and remove debris from its 'mouth' to keep it moving properly (it didn't stop entirely,… Read more
just did small pointless loops over and over - see video for a small example).
It's a fairly small hole 'mouth' and so I'm not surprised that 2-3 leaves together can clog it shut. A tiny 4-5cm twig with a leaf is also too much for the Sprinta.
It also doesn't seem to want to go to the far end of my pool very often nor stay up on the step/ ledge and clean it.
I'm disappointed because I used the 'selector' on the Kreepy Krauly website and it suggested the Sprinta Plus. I also then fell for the marketing on its site: "Unstoppable Performance. The straight through turbine means Sprinta Plus can handle large debris with ease. It resists choking or jamming when the cleaning gets tough". That is misleading IMO. I'm really not happy about having to monitor it every hour to ensure it's still running.

Doesn’t climb the walls in fibreglass pool – We have gum and palm trees around the pool. Seemed logical to get Sprinta Plus. Purchased Sprinta Plus from Clarke Rubber based on reviews and an advise from company rep. It arrived without a third adapter ( suitable for most pools, the one that we needed), had to go to the shop to pick it up. To be honest we got a lot of help from company rep… Read more
with a correct instalment. Problem is it doesn’t climb the walls and stands at the wall looking as if wanting to climb up until we move it. A lot of money spent for half satisfaction.

Fabulous pool cleaner which saves us time – We get a lot of leaves from our clumping bamboo trees alongside our pool, and the kreepy krauly is fantastic in cleaning up all the leaves. It’s easy to use. Our second kreepy krauly. Show details
Absolutely disappointing. Worst ever – Bought this brand new on the promise that it doesn't get stuck and will climb. Pool is fibregass, rounded edges no obstructions. Could not get more basic. The cleaner heads straight for the side, doesnt climb and sits there until moved. Have rung up the number supplied by Kreepy Krauly Australia. They recommended I try adjusting the height… Read more
adjustment screw. No difference. Told me I would need to buy a hose twister to make it turn. I have the most basic pool for cleaning purposes and this piece of rubbish won't work in it. If a hose twister is what is needed then supply it as part of the kit. Absolute crap! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!! Never, ever again Kreepy Krauly!! EVER!!

Sprinta Plus works it’s magic – We have had many pool cleaners over the years but the Sprinta Plus is heads above the rest. We have Tall trees with large leaves all around our vinyl lined tear drop shaped pool with deep-end. This busy little bugger doesn’t miss a thing. Best cleaner we EVER owned. Kreepy Krauly Rep even came out to see how it was going. Highly recommend for those with odd shaped and vinyl lined pools. Show details
Not suited to my pool - despite the marketing material – My pool is a freestyle pebble crete with lots of round edges and it seems unsuitable for this type of cleaner. I have had a Kreepy Krauly Marathon which is over 20 years old and I have been repairing it from parts and pieces of old devices. The Maraton did a really good job for all that time. I decided that it was time for a change and… Read more
unfortunately I chose this cleaner based on reviews on a consumer website. It was an expensive waste of money.
On the plus side, the cleaner is fast, doesn't require much pressure to operate and cleans effectively in the areas where it works. It gets stuck on twigs.
On the negative side, it struggles to go from the deep end to the shallow end nor will it go up slopes, which in my pool are quite a large part of the bottom. The cleaner approaches an inclining slope, pauses and turns around. It will not clean walls, which the marketing material indicated that it would.

Best cleaner yet – I have neighbours with lots of trees and of course these end up in my pool. This cleaner is the 1st one I have purchased that is able to handle the larger leaves without blockage. Fantastic product. Show details
Excellent. Leaner – We have never had a problem with the Kreepy Krauly It cleans thoroughly into all corners both shallow and deep ends It climbs the wall to the water line which cleans the step that is all the way around the pool Show details
Best pool cleaner ever! – Best pool cleaner we have had! Picks up all the small debris with ease. Great after sales service as well! Locally made is a huge bonus too which has made servicing it even easier. Show details
Great for pools with tight corners – The Kreepy Krauly Sprinta Plus does not get stuck in the corners or steps of my pool. Others that I have tried all get stuck. I have never has to clear it of leaves or twigs. Show details
By far the best auto pool cleaner out there – I bought this cleaner after my old cleaner kept getting stuck in a corner near some steps in my pool. It was no fun having to move the cleaner from out of the corner every 20-30 minutes or so I may as well clean it by hand. Since I have had this cleaner running I have not had to go near the pool to move a stuck cleaner I am so very impressed and happy. It is value for money in terms of peace of mind. Show details
Great product, works like a charm – Great product. Have been using for a while now, does great collecting leaves and debris. Never had a.problem with it, super quiet and always does its job. Can't complain about this one .great product
Sprinta Plus for us!! – Extremely happy with our Sprinta Plus. We've been surrounded by construction for many months, and this is the first cleaner that has been strong enough to keep the pool clean without manual intervention. Exceptional suction, and never gets stuck. Couldn't be happier. Show details
Would recommend – Kreepy Krauly cleans good. Recommend. It doesn’t get in the way at all when using the pool and my family wouldn’t be able to leave without it. Very good addition.
Hands down best cleaner out there! Sprinta plus – Hands down the best pool cleaner I have ever owned. I've had it for about 9 months now and can say it is impossible to be "stuck" anywhere. I love the simplicity of it being vacumn operated and no extra cables required. It sucks up everything from sand to small twigs. I find it gets to all the corners and does a very good job. It's made in… Read more
Australia too so parts are easy to obtain. I've owned 4 pools over the past 30 years and have tried many different cleaners. Not only am I satisfied, I'm actually impressed. Bear in mind like all other cleaners, kids toys can get stuck. My current pool is fibreglass with chlorine.
