Not happy with construction. I sent a photo to them within 1 year when i had some issues with sensor light. They rectified that. On the same photo, there was a crack on exterior rendered wall which did not come into my notice. When i am asking now to resolve that they say it is out of warranty period being an issue more than 12 months . Photo i sent to them within 1 year clearly shows that there was a crack in that wall. It is a matter of honesty and transparency which is completely legging. I even don’t want to give 1 star. Another issue was regarding digital lock they installed for me. I also had a lot of issues with it. When house was handover , land had lot of rocks which cost me extra money to remove. These are very common things. NOT HAPPY AT ALL THE WAY THEY RESPONSE AND NOT ACCEPTING THEIR MISTAKE

Kustom Homes - Stay away – I’m having a really hard time dealing with Kustom Homes. We bought a house built by Kustom homes in an auction. They are claiming we are not their client because we did not have a contract with them to start with and if we have to report any issues, we need to come via the sellers of the house who now have zero stake in the house and don’t really care even the house burns down tomorrow. I have checked with QBCC and they have made it very clear that the warranty is towards the current home owner and not towards a specific individual or party.
When we bought the house (and mind you, this is a significantly costly house) 1 – The NBN was not connected – not even the NBN application was not submitted by the builder 2 – The garage door was not opening/closing 3 – The house security system was not working 4 – The A/C was not operating properly.
Even now(after 3 months of buying the house) there are so many issues in the house but when I bring them up, they are casually dismissed.
Not even once anyone from Kustom Homes has even cared to visit the property and have a look at any of the issues. Although according to their Own Handbook, the home owner can report issues to them in 1 month or 6 month period and they will fix the issues.
Looking at some of google reviews of Kustom Homes, I fail to understand how there are 5 star reviews given and I doubt the authenticity of them OR may be now they have started taking the customers for granted. I’d never recommend them and even if someone else is asking for more money, I’ll go with them rather than dealing with Kustom Homes.
Definitely stay away from them.
