ALDI Lacura Expert Day/Night Cream

Whilst the cream feels great to put on, within a few minutes my eyes start stinging. I thought it was me and the way I am applying it so I have persisted on and off for months but it still does it. My eyes sting like they do from swimming in chlorine or salt water eventually weeping and it lasts all day, even if I wash my face completely my eyes still sting, despite avoiding my eye area. Skin soft and hydrated – This cream is excellent and makes my skin so soft and hydrated. Great value for money. I have allergies but no problems at all with this product. Like all face cream you should avoid eyes, lids and lower eye area. Show details

Stings my eyes beyond belief – I have tried and tried to persist with this cream but it has something in it that just makes my eyes sting and stream with tears. The effect of the reaction lasts for hours and hours even if I am careful to put it just around my forehead, cheeks and neck. I have had to throw it away. Show details

an Aldi checkout with return through product fail, you are confronted with young people who don't understand consumer law. ie: speak to the hand! ALL products should have a clear path to a complaints phone or email response to their products. In fact, you cannot even find the manufacturer for this product as they are hiding behind corporate online retail or traditional retailers.

Ended up with chemical burns and blisters on my face – I started using this product on a Monday evening, by Thursday I had to stop as I felt like I was burning and couldn't stop itching. There's been a change in the formula – I've used this product for years with no reaction what so ever, it was great, now I have red blotchy, hot skin itchy skin, with bumps under the skin. Allergic reaction to Aldi Rejuvenating Day Cream – After half an hour, I noticed my face feeling itchy, which gradually spread to cover my whole face, especially my cheeks. My skin became sore and swollen and my eyes puffy. I went to the Pharmacy this morning as I hadn't slept because of the soreness, and he ssupplied me with antihistamine pills and ointment which has eased it a little. I have every intention of going to see the doctor tomorrow (Monday) to get her advice. Show details

Rich but too perfumed – It is rich and moisturising but far too much perfume. I have met people who have allergic reactions to Lacura so why not do allergy testing and have a allergy free product? I have only used it 5 times so too soon to tell any difference. Show details

Very bad reaction requiring doctors visit – After on a few application I have raw red burning blotches on my skin. Stopped using it but am still trying to treat the results.....never ever again will I use aldi skin care products.

miracle face cream – I have never provided unprovoked before but I need to now. I have recently become an Aldi convert. I have kicked coles and woolworths to the curb and will never return. I love your products and customer service is great. most of all I am now using Lacura renew expert . I am 57 years old and never had results like lacura has. seriously look 5 years younger after 4 weeks use please dont redraw this product. it's amazing

Eyes feel like they have sun cream in them – Product feels lovely on the skin and was really impressed the first day I used it, however after about 45 mins my eyes felt like they had suncream in them. So sore watery and itchy. Didn’t think it was the cream and continued to use it and same thing happened. Tried using it away from my eyes but still does the same. It’s a shame. But product is not for me!

Very good Day/night cream have been buying this product for many years – My skin always feels soft haven’t ever had a reaction to this product and the aging lines are less pronounced. I wouldn’t dream of using any other face cream. It is so good value.

Moisturising and plumps the skin – I am 63 years old. I found lacura at aldi i was skeptical but was proved wrong. I am looking good and I look much younger.i use the daily moisturiser.

Better than expected – Passing 4 weeks now and I’ve definitely noticed a change in my skin. After reading some reviews and profession comments I didn’t have my hopes up. But I’m pleasantly surprised

Eyes streaming after single use of day cream - please take care – Eyes streaming after using day cream sparingly - washed eyes, still sore and streaming' used Systane lubnricsting eye drops and still sore eyes but at least a little improvement. I am not generally allergic to creams, even cheap brands ....... so please test carefully before use.

so swollen that I could hardly see out of them. I tried the usual home made remedies of yoghurt, bran and honey but nothing worked. The next day my eyes were streaming so I went to the chemist who recommended an over the counter antihistamine - Zyrtec and a mild hydro cortisone cream for the face. This together with cold aloe vera straight from the plant and paw paw ointment around the eyes has seen the symptons reduce after 42 hours. I'm writing this to advise Aldi, but more so to let others know what you can do if this happens to you, as it took me a while of research to get the right results.

Excellent Product – I have gradually been trying out the Lacura (Aldi) range of skin care and have found it as good as the more expensive brands that I had been using. Holds up against more expensive brands – This cream has worked wonders for my skin. No longer suffering dry skin the cream is non greasy and absorbs well.
