Warning - if you pay a refundable deposit you won't get it back if you change your mind despite what Customer service will say. Customer service is horrendous; they will completely ignore your emails.
Their vehicle servicing and customer service is absolutely non existent.
Purchased new Defender May 2024 in Perth and was very pleased with presentation and delivery. Some 17000 kms later we had a Suspension Caution dash light. Rang the dealer who was very professional and welcoming, booked us in and fixed with no charge. explained all checks and work carried out at no charge. Very happy with service provided
Negative experience from the start – Honestly please learn from the other comments and give it a miss. They charge premium prices for substandard products and service. My Defender has been a disaster from beginning to end. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned money elsewhere, like BMW.
Amazing service – Awesome service! Ask for Malina - amazing and dedicated sales person who delivered perfectly and could not do enough to help!
Charged me $1500 to make my car functionally worse! – I dropped my car in because the tailgate would unlock but not open on the first press of the button/switch/key and would require a second press 5 seconds later to open. They charged me $1500 to replace the switch and the electrics and returned it to me with the exact same problem. They wanted another $2,000 to replace the struts after I contacted… Read more
them an hour after leaving the dealership. I asked them to stop working on it and, when I got home, the tailgate wouldn't open but instead made a repeated clicking noise. I needed to access the boot so had to physically open it but then it wouldn't close properly without being pushed and wouldn't lock so none of the doors will lock. The whole tail gate has spontaneously opened while I was driving - Land Rover Brighton have told me it's 'unfortunate'. The car left their workshop in a significantly worse state than it went in.
8 months in the Repair Shop – Our Top of the Range 'Range Rover' has been at Doncaster Land Rover in the service department for now 8 months... YES EIGHT MONTHS...we are paying off a car we can not use and it is loosing value everyday. It is just beyond unbelievble...Mananges phone voice message are full so we cannot leave a message each week. We have three range rovers and will never buy another one...
I wish i could give 0 – Rip off dealer, biggest mistake of my life to buy Range rover cars. No one wants to listen. Even land rover customer service hang up the phone. Show details
Horrible care and service – In the latter part of 2021, with a sense of anticipation, I chose a pristine Evoque from the Land Rover Jaguar dealership in Doncaster, Melbourne, envisaging a reliable and comfortable drive for my wife. Given her battle with Parkinson's, the need for a vehicle that offered ease and safety was paramount. This car was to be a chariot of freedom for… Read more
her, a small yet significant luxury to support her independence. Alas, this expectation was short-lived, as the car's narrative took an unfortunate turn. After a mere 20,000 miles, the Evoque was rendered immobile for three long months, plagued by a faulty transmission. The inconvenience was more than a mere disruption; it was a denial of the autonomy we had sought.
The ordeal was compounded by Melbourne's searing summer heat, with temperatures soaring over 35 degrees Celsius, rendering the absence of air conditioning in a luxury car not just uncomfortable but unbearable. The situation became dire, prompting me to seek redress from the higher echelons of Jaguar Land Rover, with the hope that the severity of our plight would be met with due consideration and urgency. Yet, the response was a resounding silence—a lack of empathy that seemed to echo through the ranks of JLR. This indifference has been startling, a stark deviation from the esteemed customer service I had been led to expect from such a distinguished marque. Our story has thus been marred by not only mechanical failures but also by the company's apparent disregard for our distress, leaving us with a bitter taste of what was once a symbol of luxury and reliability.
Audi Purchase – Bought a 2022 RS3 Audi Hatch from Parramatta JLR. Had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with Benjamin Bui . He was a professional and warm engaging sales executive to buy through . Thanks Ben and Parramatta JLR.
If I could give this zero stars I would – Customer Service is appaling, car has broken 4 times and needed to be towed.
Staff – I have been a customer of concord Range Rover since 2019 when I purchased my Range Rover sport new. Each time I send it in for service, or get something fixed with my insurance, it’s nothing but problems! The service is terrible, they argue with you, try to get money out of you, not even the complimentary car clean is good! This place is a two bit second hand dealer ship! Don’t buy from them! You will regret it.
Landrover Australia and Parramatta dealer- Range Rover Evoque MY23 – Landrover Parramatta is the worst dealer ever deal with. They are selling display cars for the price of brand new vehicle. Parts were missing and removed during customer inspection and on display. After 4 days of delivery Rangerover Evoque 2023 (Lemon car) was given major engine trouble (heavy vibration from the engine and burning smell) and tow… Read more
back to the dealer. No parts available in Australia to fix it. No ETA. They keep our car and money. When we ask for refund Kenny Lam pass the ball to Landrover Australia. When we call Landrover Australia asking us to go back to parramatta dealer. We are going back and forth without resolutions. Landrover Australia stopped answering our phone calls saying we been arrogant to them. Only communicate through emails. But they are even not replying to our email with clear dates for refunds and the process how we can get it. We can’t buy another car with this car loan on our credit check. Be careful and don’t deal with them. Our registration is EUP56G.

LandRover Artarmon dealership- bo kiss was awesome! – Just bought a new landrover discovery sport from LandRover Artarmon- specifically deal with Salesman: Bo Kiss. He kept us informed at every step during the short wait for the car to be imported. When we collected- he took me through the whole vehicle- showing me all the buttons, seats, features ect. Even had the red carpet out and made coffee and got hot chocolates for my boys! Thanks Bo- love our new car!!!
Don't buy Rang Rover from this retailer – We have had our rangerover serviced afew times now with same issue of transmission and gear change with rangerover gold coast (southport) This last time we had to leave our car for more than 6weeks for replacement of Transmission however soon as we had the car back on Friday we still experienced the same problem with low gear change issue as per… Read more
before! On top of that for some strange reason the front plate of the car now has afew dents in them which was not there when we handed the car to your retailer.
Durining this exercise we were also advised in the beginning that it is to do with the transmission oil and that warranty will not cover and were charged almost $2000 for this change were the issue obviously was not the oil.
We had this discussion with case office “Afrah” and afew other people in rangerover relations which has not been rectified - they had also given us access to Avis car loan and advised that we can extend the car loan for more days and Avis are now kept our deposit of $100 and advised us that no one has contacted them to resolve and the matter is still not being actioned hence they will not return our deposit.
We are highly disappointed, sick and tired of this process with the whole retailer, service and the car. We are now looking to seek legal action against Landrover as it seems that rangerover can not resolve this issue after many attempts.
Selling Faulty car Terrible – BE AWARE…… Selling faulty car . I’ve just bought a brand new Rang rover velar 2021 demo from Gippsland dealership.. In lockdown car arrived with full scratches exterior and interior. Second day, I have realised there was no auto lock working and no smart remote access. Few days later all problem started. Car Completely stopped working in 53 days.… Read more
Need to tow away such branded car. More then 6 weeks no repair, no refund or no new car replacement . Range rover Head office , Gippsland Range Rover , Essendon land rover , all they have been playing is blame games and ignoring taking responsibility to replace or refund the car. I am struggling to get money back now. Not sure when all finish now Useless spending such big amount on branded car . Better to buy lower range cars. Range Rover beyond and Above - Means they bring stress -beyond and above . Rubbish company and their service .
Not 1 start either .
Delivery time extended and price increased – We signed up for a new Range Rover Discovery Sports on 16/06/2021, and paid a deposit, and were advised that delivery would be in early January, 2022. An irritation then was that "because of the world-wide semiconductor shortage", the 360 degree camera was no longer standard, but was now an option, which we paid for. In about October we had a… Read more
phone call saying the vehicle was about to be built, and was on track for delivery early January. In December, 2021, we received a phone call from the dealer asking us to attend to complete paperwork. On the day we arranged to attend the dealer to do this, we received a call saying build on the vehicle would not start until late Dec/early Jan and that delivery would not be until April. Worse, we were advised that we would be charged 2% above the price on our purchase contract. To cap it off, we received a call in later December, 2021 to say they'd run out of the white paint we'd ordered, and could we choose another colour! Unbelievable that they could run out of paint! Not at all happy. I have the contract from June 2021 sitting on my desk waiting to get some advice about whether they are actually allowed to unilaterally increase the contracted price.
Land Rover cars are cheap quality with a CEO that would not know how to push the button start the car – I own a Land Rover, always wanted one and I have had mine for 3 years. The car is 5 years old and leaked oil from the motor which is a major overhaul and cheaper to buy a new motor. The service centre for Land Rover did not even know how to release the park brake as the battery was dead. The staff were unskilled and had little to no knowledge of… Read more
how to service or how the car operates. If you want to waste your money buy a land rover. they are poor quality and my nephew who owns a Great wall is better quality better service and his is the same age as my land rover and is running like a dream. Land Rover probably should swap from their Chinese factory to the great wall factory to try and get their quality up to a level that is acceptable. The Board and CEO are living the dream whilst ripping of their poor consumers killing the brand and the customer base. l don't just take my word for it look up their google rating and read the comments before you think about getting ripped off by Land Rover like I did
Service with a Smile – I chose to take my Range Rover Evoque to Land Rover Port Melbourne for servicing. For the past 2 services, I have been allocated Amber as my Service consultant. She always makes me feel comfortable, explains in great detail what my service entails and nothing is too much trouble. She also keeps me up to date with any issues the car may have and… Read more
gives me accurate information and time frames of when my car is ready to be collected. It can often be intimidating being in a prestige dealer, but Amber makes you feel comfortable at all times. I will only drop my car off to Amber knowing that it will be looked after and also washed & vacuumed after the service. I am also given a lovely courtesy car (I usually don’t want to give it back) to ensure I am not inconvenienced. Thank you Amber & Team.
Incredible service from Rex Gorell Land Rover – The team at Gorells are always so helpful, from the initial sales stage through to ongoing servicing. Could not rate them more highly. Coming up to lease ending, and will buy from Gorells again.
Worst customer care – Looks like they don’t want to sell any cars. After calling many times no one even bothers calling back for enquiry. Especially LandRover Parramatta, NSW
Great service from Sydney City Land Rover – Eugene - Thank you so much for making our 23rd Wedding Anniversary so special. Your beautiful gift and acknowledgement of our special Day was such a lovely surprise. Of course driving the incredible Defender you kindly arranged for us through West Head National Park overlooking Pittwater, was an incredible way to start celebrating. However,… Read more
finalising our specifications and placing the order for another love of our lives now….. ( our gorgeous new Gondwana Stone Defender) made it complete ! We can’t wait until delivery in December :) Thank you for your professionalism and excellent service. Lynne & Rod

Disgraceful – Appalling customer service and overpriced. We have purchased 3 land discoveries over 15 years and have always had our services done by Land Rover Brisbane - not anymore! Today my wife and I contacted the service centre twice with no response after the promise of a call back from the adviser Jason Bush. We received a service quote which include… Read more
brakes for $4600 but were unable to discuss the recommended repairs with anyone. I find it appalling that for a service of this amount we simply got a text of the bill and then a notiflication that the vehicle was ready to be picked up. We will never be back for future vehicle purchase or servicing.
Disgusted – Lied about a service and never completed but did change sticker and reset computer to look like it was done. Luckily i checked car as being a qualified mechanic for no oils done and front tyres unsafe and not roadworthy. Manager advised me that's things customers should check. No apologies just told me we just changed oil with no safety checks. Someone needs to explain what a service, safety check means as it's people's lives his playing with.
Time wasting & lack of communication – Went to Rex Gorell Land Rover with a key issue a few weeks ago and informed them that it was faulty and it was my only key (due to a tinting company breaking my only working one) They took two hours to work this out themselves until they ordered a new one from UK. I was told to them come back after the three and a bit weeks passed so I did and I… Read more
took unpaid work leave, drove 75ks to then be told after waiting an hour that now they need two keys to programme the car and a whole new module. What complete lack of empathy and communication I had received. How can you not know this was a mandatory requirement to programme a key or ask the question before ordering it. There was no care for the time that I have wasted on two occasions now and a third to come. It has been an absolute nightmare. Luxury car maybe, unfortunately not a luxury service to match.
Rex Gorrell disappointment – Pathetic service. Expensive service. Had to come back a second time service because Rex Gorrell Land Rover did not stock numerous parts that my vehicle required. Service Manager woeful. I have always been a fan, but no longer. Disgraceful across the board.
Over 15 years of association with Doncaster Land Rover – My 2001 Range Rover had a few issues that were intermittently coming up. What made me keep it was the excellent responses by the service department at Doncaster LR. My previous car was a 1999 Discovery which was passed on to a family member. So for a few years we were using Doncaster LR for servicing both vehicles. Recently I bought a Range Rover… Read more
Velar which is now serviced by the same dealer. My first service was completed in June 2019 where some minor teething adjustments were made and the car drives very well. I have found that my rapport with the Doncaster LR, Service Department is excellent where I am listened to and attended to, with appropriate care. It is also pleasing to see that some of the service staff of 20 years ago are still employed by DLR and who continue to provide excellent service.
My service Doc. is DRCRL 38358 for verification, as I am not able to scan to my computer at the moment.
not impressed – I contacted the dealer (with the intention of buying the car) based on the description in the add "Meticulous, Immaculate and ready to go". I was ready to buy over the internet as I am 250 Km away. The sales manager was nice and keen to do a deal. Maybe to keen... But it turns out - after SVPI inspection, absolutely worth every penny - that the… Read more
car is far from immaculate; that it has many problems including a quite serious accident (cleverly concealed by a new paint job), bad tires on the back, an oil leak, noisy air con, weak battery, a ding in the door, etc.
Thanks, all the same, Alto Jaguar, but not thanks
Worst Customer Service ever received in Servicing – 4 days to service my car, supposed to be 1 day. There may have been good reason, though never did the dealer call me with an update and explanation for the delay - each call was initiated by me. When I eventually collected the car, the service area implied all the issues and faults were our own. Overall I can not recommend this dealership,… Read more
and ironically I wanted to book in to RR at Artarmon though they had no availability for a month, whereas RR Partamatta had the whole week free - I wonder why? And I know which dealership I’ll get my RR serviced at next time
The most honest Land Rover Dealership in the country – UPDATE ON 14/01/2018 - Dealing with Jamie Barry just went to a complete different level. Long story short, delivery of my vehicle was delayed as the vessel that my vehicle is in was sent to Indonesia for fumigation of bugs (by quarantine). I spoke to Jamie as I didn't have a car ay longer and he suggested that he would give me a loan car while I… Read more
wait for my new car. I went to Sydney expecting an old Toyota or Mazda as a loan car. Jamie completely surprised me with a near new Jaguar F-Pace! I asked, how much do I have to pay and he said "Don't be silly!". So, while I await for my car, I will be driving this new F-Pace. I wish Jamie and the team at northern beaches all the best. A massive thank you from Canberra!
ORIGINAL - I had an amazing experience dealing with Jaguar Land Rover Northern beaches in Sydney. I had a few bad experiences in other dealerships where they would either try to rip you off or assume that you are stupid or have no product knowledge and act that they are experts even they are not. I made an appointment to meet with the Assistant Sales Manager at Jaguar Land Rover in Northern Beaches, Jamie Barry. I didn't expect them to be any different to other JLR dealerships. I couldn't be more wrong! When we arrived, my family was greeted by lovely Angela and she made us feel welcome and kept engaging with us and our little daughter while we waited for Jamie. Jamie and we sat down, built a custom vehicle and did the pricing together. He offered a huge discount for the exact same spec as we came from interstate. He was very patient, while he showed us different models, options etc. If he didn't know something about the 19MY car, he called a product specialist and got that information for us, rather than acting same as other dealerships, "we know everything!". At the end, they gave a present to my daughter - a Land Rover stuffed toy! Totally unexpected! I would highly recommend Jamie Barry and this dealership to anyone, if you are looking for the best deal in Jaguar or Land Rover or Range Rover in Australia . I wish Jamie and Angela all the best and keep up your great work.
Worst Customer Service EVER – Sales Manager [name removed] will not bother to return a call and too busy to sell you a car because he is at a BBQ across the road. Staff all stale and a complete staff overall desperately needed there. I will never buy a car from here. No calls returned and no assistance on the showroom floor. How they sell a car I do not know as no one cares.
Drive a bit further to enjoy top quality, friendly service – If you need scheduled servicing for you beloved Landrover, Rangerover or Jaguar, - take an easy drive down the highway down to beautiful Geelong to Visit Andrew & his team at Rex Gorell Jaguar Landrover service department. valued customer... not just a car rego number.
Andrew and his team remember your name and genuinely care for your vehicle and it's wellbeing... they get it !
Don't let the country town feel fool you into thinking their facilities may be second rate. The Rex Gorell workshop, service recption and showroom is state of the art, top class.... and they wash your car to boot.
Book ahead for a courtesy car or walk to nearby trendy Pakington street for a delicious breakfast at 7 origins coffee roasters... it's a relaxing experience.
Above and beyond service to my RR – The glass roof of my RR Evoque had cracked - I investigated a solution with Land Rover HQ in Sydney with no joy at all. My dealer - ULR Malvern replaced the entire roof at no cost as a gesture of good will. AND they gave me a gorgeous Jaguar to drive while my RR was being fixed. This dealer is terrific. Show details
Time Wasters – Don't have your time wasted by this dealership. Could not source the new vehicle I wanted for my Daughter with the specs I gave them as they tried to sell me everything but.
