Highly not recommended. I visited the Bankstown clinic and was deeply concerned to discover that an unqualified laser therapist was permitted to perform treatments. This raises serious questions about safety, professional standards, and the clinic’s duty of care to clients.

didn't mentioned about that when I purchase online. If I have known earlier , I wouldn't have purchased that. Want my refund. Also my friend had similar experience. The one she purchased is not available and got different treatment that she didn't prefer.

back. It did permanent damage that I still have today, and what recover took months to do so. Worse, my hair ended up just being thicker than before I started! Not only did they not care even slightly, I spent thousands of dollars on these treatments and I had already prepaid for one more treatment before I saw the damage they had done. Despite it being their fault I cant use this prepaid service, they refused a refund. I didnt even ask for a refund of my prior treatments, just the one they had yet to do. They even refused allowing my girlfriend to use it! Rare does one see such amazingly bad treatment, and indifference to customer wellbeing. Absolutely the sort of people who'd take the cash out of your wallet while you are on the table if they feel you won't notice.
If I could give ZERO stars I would! My appointment was booked for 9am - it is currently 9:25am and the shop is still closed. No one is here. Lights are off. Door locked. Absolutely disgraceful. Yet if I just didn’t show up for my appointment I would forfeit the entire cost of the booked treatment. Beyond a joke. Can’t even call anyone or get in touch online. Show details
I got more thick hair on my chin – I got 8 sessions for chin and upper lips. Results were good but on my 5th session the lady was different and she was very harsh maybe that when i got that session i started having unwanted hair on my lower cheek and below chin. Lied to consumers about Boxing Day sale period – Laser Clinics Australia lied about their Boxing Day sale this year, advertising it as running until February 3rd 2025 however they have ended it early without any explanation. asking why the Boxing Day sale ended early, and they didn’t even bother replying in any form to me. I also had a staff member in store confirm it was running until Feb 3rd but the prices have gone back to full price now. What kind of company advertises a sale period and doesn’t honour it? I was planning on purchasing over a thousand dollars worth of micro needling treatments today, but after finding it was back to full price, I’ll be going with a competitor who’s price is almost as low as their sale price was. It’s shocking to me that anyone would advertise a sale period and then go back on their word, especially when this is for services not a product that they can run out of stock of, which would be the only reasonable excuse for a sale to end early.
Avoid LCA Zetland – Zetland is franchised and runs bad faith business. Don’t shop with them. You will have a different technician every time as the staff turn over is appalling. Notified them within 15 minutes and the holding company LCA and the franchisee at zetland wouldn’t do anything. Don't trust these crooked people and go to Bondi , Double Bay or East Gardens.

your treatment which means never, it was so stressful and honorees as you always have to go out of your way as we live on the beach.
I discussed this with my laser therapist at the last session, and the response was, it does not work for anyone and never will all hair be removed, it will just become lighter [?!?]. In my case not even that.
Needless to say the photos and what's advertised is very different.
For my 7th Laser session, settings as follows for a non-sensitive area [Underarms and Legs]: 10 J/cm² (Fluence) 5 ms (Pulse Duration) 2.0 Hz (Repetition Rate) Its the middle of winter hence no risk of sun exposure. I am not fair skinned [nor olive or dark] just middle of the road, I have had no issues with the first 6 sessions hence no risk of adverse reaction.
From doing research these settings are extremely conservative, not to say useless, especially taking into account the number of sessions I had, zero sun exposure or risk thereof and zero adverse reactions. Other reviews also state a similar experience, that at Laser Clinics you need a lot more sessions as each session uses extremely low settings.
Disclaimer here is that I am on Hormone Replacement Therapy, and have been on the exact same treatment for about 3 years, hence my hormones are stable, and blood tests confirm that my hormones are a) stable and b) no higher than a healthy 35 year old. Of course, this was disclosed in great detail when I purchased the package. We then moved interstate, thankfully the clinic where I bought the packages transferred, however in hindsight it would have been better not to waste all this time and energy.
When I started my first session at the new clinic, there was immediately a concern raised about the Hormone Replacement Therapy and that the treatment might not work. Of course, I asked for a refund as no point wasting time and money on something which is not going to give results. The clinic where I purchased, mentioned that there is never a guarantee [red flag!!], however where happy to take my $700 and did not consider the HRT a big enough deal.
No refund was provided by the clinic raising the concern and administering the treatments, which is outrageous as I disclosed my situation in great detail PRIOR to payment.
Result: $700 gone, 20 hours and a wasted summer I never get back in addition to the stress of it all.
On a positive note, the laser therapist was always really friendly and she was knowledgeable, which was appreciated.

Staff need serious training. They have no clue what they are doing. They do a few zaps don’t even cover the area and send you out. They don’t analyse the skin or ask how you went from last session or about the hair growth. How they are still in business shocks me. Show details

To make matters worse, after raising the issue, Miranda Clinic later confirmed that the price charged was indeed excessive. While we appreciate that Miranda has agreed to compensate for this on her next visit, this incident has left us extremely disappointed with the experience at Caringbah.

update, and now a refund and the response is always generic and vague. I still do not have access to my prepaid vouchers so cannot even use them at another LCA clinic and they have not offered a refund. My treatment timeline has now been affected as I was meant to have 2 appointments in the time since they originally emailed me. I will not be using LCA again and encourage others to not let their cheap prices fool you - they will probably rip you off and take your money too.
Great customer service – I have been LCA client for more than 3 years now and I also had a great results. This time I mistakenly purchased pre paid sessions over the phone at a wrong clinic. payment, as I had pre-paid. Cancellation last minute, I understand, but rescheduling considering womens needs at times should be considered.
Not only this. The system lets you reschedule within this 48-hour period and does not notify you that you have forfeited your money. So you are essentially making a new appointment without knowing it.
I showed up to my rescheduled appointment and was taken to the room told to undress and wait. The lady comes in and says I have not complied with the reschedule policy and I would be charged again for this appointment.
This was advised after the fact that I was already undressed, I had to re-dress and leave due to not being able to pay twice.
I did ask for her to talk to management as I already pre-paid and rescheduled with confirmation of rescheduled appointment and was hoping to still have my treatment due to the circumstances and she refused to call her.
I would not have attended and endured this embarrassment if I had been advised my payment was forfeited. The system says you have rescheduled for such and such date. Also very unprofessional of staff having not advised this before going into room. And no apology for the inconvenience.
Very apparent they are happy to take your money and not provide the service!

They made it abundantly clear that they don't care about my emergencies, and that's fine. They have a business to run and other customers who are just as important as I like to think I am. Luckily, there are other services who DO have empathy, understanding and a generally kinder outlook. Will not be back.
