I would NOT recommend Laser Clinics Australia. They falsely advertise products and services, are NOT accommodating, very very poor customer service. Management have not responded to me despite several emails and phone calls about my package. I have been extremely disappointed with them. I would not go to them ever again. Show details

I have been a regular customer for 10 years. Was treated for laser hair removal. Results are fairly poor. They discount their services heavily and promise that pre-purchased packages "virtually do not expire". Today, I was booked for treatment and wanted to use a pre-purchased treatment. Before the session started, I was advised that the treatment… Read more

expired YESTERDAY, as such they refused to honor it. I tried to reason with them, but they still refused to allow it. This clinic is a scam. I have repeatedly questioned the effectiveness of the treatment with the therapists. No answers given. Customer Service is often very poor with rude girls taking bookings and performing treatment. I have now decided to go elsewhere. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone

Hair removal with absolutely no result – I have had laser done for underarms years ago and thought Ill do now everything else as well and underarms need a bit again. First time I went I was sent back as they told I had selected wrong skin colour and I need a different machine. I have olive skin(not born here) and it looks more tanned than the skin type here. I had 6 sessions done and as… Read more

I was told with tanning I should not get laser done then wanted to skip summer. Few months later all the hair was back and absolutely no result. I called the clinic and I was told to go back there. Next day the owner calls me and just says I need more sessions. I undestand that 6 sessions is not enough to fully get rid of all hair but talking to the therapist in the clinic she agreed as well that I should have hair growing patchy and underarms should be enough as I had done them previously. I wasted 600 dollars and so much of my time and added again the time I was called to go back to show results. The only thing I was told was that have more sessions and maybe now my hair is different than before(more hormonal). The previous clinic removal worked well what I had done in Australian skin clinic.

Discriminated because of the natural color of my skin – I got denied service because of the colour of my skin. I’m a brown girl, Hispanic. I have been going to laser clinics for a while now, I’m a client since 2022, I have had laser hair removal for 12 years now, I was with Results, but it was more convenient to use Laser Clinics. Today I got serviced by a girl I had never met before. First she tried… Read more

to get me out of getting treated today by telling me I did not need to get serviced as my legs had no hair. She even advised me to rebook in 10 weeks. Please know you are required to shave the area 12 hrs before treatment. I told her to please went ahead with the treatment. She covered my eyes, She marked my legs and then I felt her wiping my leg very hard. To my surprise she was wiping me with an alcohol wipe, ended up asking me if I had any fake tanning on as the wipe was coming up with ‘some sort’ or fake tan, or so she said. I said no to all her questions implying I had a fake tan. I told her all I had was body lotion, so she assumed the body lotion had some sort of tanner, as the wipe kept coming with some sort of stain, probably was my skin, I don’t exfoliate my legs or arms. She called ‘[Name Removed]’ whomever she was, another girl I had never met before, to proceed to wipe my arm too, the wipe had something too. Perhaps a mix of my sweat, body oil, body lotion. She wiped my underarm, came out clear. Please know I had just wiped before, my underarms to remove the deodorant. I only got my underarms done, because I asked for it, after she finished I told her I had that same lotion there. This girl definitely did not feel like working on me. The service was prepaid. I have been serviced in prior occasions when my skin has been truly tanned by the sun, and my skin darker. Today for the very first time in my life I got discriminated for the natural brown color of my skin and was denied service with the excuse of me being faked tanned and their ‘worry’ to burn my skin. So sad. I’m a brown girl I do not need to fake tan.

$499 for Botox Virtually no change! Consultant wanted more Money! – Went to Laser clinics Kawana Sunshine Coast Qld 29th april 2022 for Botox for Frown lines between eyebrows and forehead wrinkles. Consultant asked me if i wanted to get my smile frown lines done also, I told her that when i had them done last time that it didn;t work well, She told me that it should give me a bit of an eyebrow lift if i did get… Read more

the smile lines treated near my eyes, So i agreed. i also got a lip flip although that didn't work last time Laser clinics did this treatment and I told her this, She told me she will put extra Botox in so i should get some lift. Today 2 weeks later I went in again as Nothing had worked apart from a slight relaxation of my forehead wrinkles ( Barely visible really) The consultant agreed that the Botox hadn't worked on my frown lines at all or smile lines and that she could detect a slight relaxation on my forehead wrinkles, She wasn't sure about my mouth (Lip flip) The consultant told me i would have to pay $175 for my Frown lines between my forehead to be redone, about 12 units of Botox she said and i explained that i shouldn't have to pay anything as it didn't work at all and she told me it was Laser Clinics policy not to top up a treatment because it doesn't work and it was nothing that she had done wrong with her treatment and she then asked me if i had taken a drink of alcohol 2 weeks ago after my treatment? I stated that i rarely drink and no i hadn't, She then told me it could be from my hormones to which my reply was " At my age my hormones don't fluctuate much". I was hoping for some customer care and good working ethics but the consultant was adamant that if i wanted the Botox that i'd already paid $499 to work then i would have to pay more. I left there sobbing as i was not going to give more good money for a bad treatment and as i explained to her that $499 is a lot of money to me. I would also say that i have been getting Botox treatments for years and occasionally there is an odd time when the results are not always perfect so you go back and the consultant usually tops it up where needed but i would never have dreamt that the treatments i paid for and was up-sold to would not work at all and i would be asked for more money!!!! I will never go back and i will tell everyone i can about this awful and expensive experience!!! I remember at the time of the Botox injections wandering why the injections seemed to be a lot quicker and i never felt any fluid actually go in and that seemed a bit strange and different to other Botox injections that i have had in the past. I am really unsure whether any Botox was actually injected at the time. the results probably speak for themselves.

I was genuinely excited to try the Melanopro treatment at the Carindale clinic, having been advised it would help improve pigmentation and the texture of my aging skin. The application process went smoothly and I followed the aftercare instructions diligently. However, at my six-week follow-up, I was disappointed with the results. What concerned… Read more

me even more was that the "after" photos taken by the therapist appeared to be filtered - noticeably blurred and brightened. When I raised this issue, the therapist attempted to use a different camera and adjusted the lighting, but we were unable to capture an image that matched the original "before" photo. As a result I can't confidently assess the effectiveness of this $800 treatment.

The use of filtered images to represent post-treatment results is deeply concerning and misleading. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning to this salon and I would caution others to consider this before booking.

Bad service – I have been done with skin needling more than 10times, but this time was terrible with this clinic. Date: 21/01, Time: 15:00 Maroochydore, Sunshine Plaza The staff was so bad. Well done Ebony at Toowong Village Laser Clinics Australia!! – Ebony at Laser Clinics Australia in Toowong actually took the time to explain laser treatments to me in detail which no one had done before after years of treatments. She helped me enormously with her professionalism and went above and beyond to help me to understand how to make the most of laser treatments. Thank you so much Ebony for your professionalism and kindness!!

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!! BEWARE – I arrived for my laser hair removal appointment at Westfield, Garden City that I had booked and paid for online. The consultant asked me to write down any medications I was currently on. So, I obliged. She explained they couldn't treat me without a letter from my doctor that was dated within the last 12 months. I explained that I had been on… Read more

that medication for the past 5 years and during that time, had received dozens of laser hair removal treatments from Laser Clinics Australia - and at no time had I ever been asked for a letter from my doctor. I went on to explain that it would cost me money to obtain such a letter and in fact I had just been to the doctor a few days ago and could easily have arranged to get a letter HAD I KNOWN this was now their new policy. The consultant then spoke to the manager. However, she soon returned to say the manager stood by the store's policy. As a side note - I do understand their position here. They are attempting to cover themselves should a client have any adverse reaction to the treatment as a result of being on certain medications. Frustrated, I asked for a full refund and walked back to the counter at the front of the store. The consultant then said she couldn't give me a refund because she was not authorised to do them and that the only person who could authorise such refunds is the store manager. She opened her mouth to say that the manager wasn't there. She had temporarily forgotten that she had told me she had spoken to her only 5 mins beforehand. I said I knew the manager was in the store and I wanted to speak to her. The manager appeared and reiterated the stores position. I was so angry by this point. I asked why their stores new policy of requiring a doctor's letter for each medication before treatment was not AT ALL stated on their website when I booked (and paid for) the appointment. The manager said they prefer to get the client into the store to discuss things like this!!! I replied that there was no reason why their new policy could not be displayed on their website, or their booking confirmation email and that they had completely wasted my time. She then gave me my full refund. To be clear, my anger and disappointment with Laser Clinics Australia is not with their new medication policy as such - it is with their deceitful conduct of business by not stating their requirements prior to booking laser hair removal appointments. They completely wasted my time this morning and I will not be returning to them in the future.

Browns plains- horrible – The owner of this salon should not be dealing with customers let alone be running this business. DONT PAY IN ADVANCE HERE!!! day (or so I thought) due to needing to help me dad (he’s disabled). When I arrived at on the day for my rebooked appointment I was told that I had the wrong day. The person how had rebooked it had looked at the wrong week and booked it in wrong, they couldn’t fit me on the day or that weekend. The lady behind the counter put the blame on me and so did the owner of the business. I had moved since I started going here so called the LCA closer to me, they could fit me in and even said they know how bad browns plains is (I’m not the first customer to have issues) I tried to have my prepaid sessions moved to my new clinic. The owners blamed me for the appointment rebooking being incorrect, is very bad at responding to emails to try and get a resolution and refuses to talk on the phone. The main website says credits can be transferred if you move, this was refused. I even got head office involved and they were useless and referred me to browns plains despite repeatedly saying they don’t respond. I’m trying to lodge a QCAT claim, but browns plains won’t supply the evidence I need to lodge the claim and hasn’t responded to emails (it’s 2 weeks since I sent my email request and no response). LCA would rather take the brand damage the browns plains does than hold them accountable when customer move clinics. DONT TRUST BROWNS PLAINS IF THEY CANT GET AN APPOINTMENT RIGHT WOULD YOU TRUST THEM WITH LASER OR INJECTIONS! The same people that book the appointment are the same people that inject and use lasers. The staff aren’t even trained correctly when the start working there, they either learn on the job or they have prior experience (this was told to me from a staff member that use to work from the browns plains clinic and now works at a different clinic. If I could give zero stars I would

HORRIBLE. Awful customer service, aggressive. Never want to go back – Whilst there are SOME nice staff, most of them are really rude and make me feel like crying every time I leave. still get treatment they were SO rude and aggressive about it, letting me know I had “WAY too much tan on” and not being nice about it at all. I didn’t say anything and fully accepted not being allowed treatment but they were so mean and made me feel so so upset. After at the counter they were again still really rude and aggressive about it.

Customer service like this has happened almost every time except the few times I have had one or two of the nice girls treat me. I unfortunately booked 10 treatments and have used up 8. Im really considering not using the last two though so I don’t ever have to go back.

They really just treat you like a number, not a person.

PLEASE choose a different laser clinic, especially young girls going in alone. Go somewhere where you will be looked after and treated well.

Slack Customer Service – I have been going to Mt Ommaney for 2 years now & wow the customer service has dropped here.
