The upshot of that was that we bought a Pure Premium single mattress for our son, and plumped for a new product for the queen size - a latex mattress comprising three layers (one soft, one medium and one firm). It's been set up beautifully in the shop following the consultation and we haven't needed to change that, but it's great to have the option if we decide later on we want it firmer or softer. It's beautifully comfortable and after years of waking up in pain on pocket sprung mattresses in the UK, I am sleeping much better and waking up everyday feeling refreshed. My chiro recommended that I should consider either posturepedic mattress or latex mattress for my pain. Most of posturepedic mattress out in market are using spring and comes with 10 years warranty. I was skeptical with actual life span of mattress once spring starts to get out of shape.

It is then I checked with Latex Mattress Australia for pure latex mattress. We were welcomed by Craig who was very nice and what I learnt there that each mattress are actually pure latex and not foam. Where each mattresses have those small pores both on top and bottom for better air. Mattress is covered using tencel mattress protector. This tencel cover again is very impressive as quality of cover is very nice. Since it is made of eucalyptus wood pulp there is less chance of fungal and microbial growth.

With the warranty for 21 years and considering my back issue, I justified my purchase and order Pure premium firm support king size. After a first night on this mattress, I realized my shoulder were considerably less sore. Over a period of next two weeks my pain due to disc bulge were reduced a lot and soreness in shoulder completely gone. Pores in mattress ensure that it get proper air circulation. So, it does not get hot like memory foam mattresses. Pain is mostly gone. I even have latex pillow from Lattex mattress Australia and now I don’t even touch those memory foam pillows.

I have been so happy to have a good night sleep on a latex mattress again, I say this because our previous mattress was by far the WORST 'CHINESE' LATEX MATTRESS ON THE MARKET, disguised as Belgian or Italian latex which I later found out isn't... and the experience with both the product and the staff was horrendous.
