Their AI got the wrong address and submitted this to ASIC, we informed Lawpath who then wanted $300 to correct their mistake, I did it free of charge through ASIC. had the wrong address on them so we cancelled their service and was promised a refund due to their incompetence. This was never forthcoming!! Trying to contact this company is like "Mission Impossible" all calls get farmed off to an OS call centre whose only script is we will get a team member to contact you. Again this is never forthcoming. I have over 20 attempts to contact this company in 2 weeks. To add injury to insult they automatically set up up on a subscription service for their "ongoing service" to you. If this is their "service Im glad I spotted their scam and cancelled it. Use another company this company needs to learn how to treat customers correctly.

professional and helped me with my contracts as per my plan. My latest experience was quite different. I drafted my terms and conditions document . I booked in a call with a lawyer. She reviewed the document and told me that there wasn't too much to fix that she could do it in 2 hrs for $900 or I could book another meeting. Being a bootstrapped founder who has done corporate law I said I was fine and will make the changes she recommended and book another meeting. The updates were minor. In the second call we probably had 10 mins of discussion as somehow I had inadvertently deleted the paragraph numbering making it hard for both of us to discuss the paragraphs. During this discussion she did show me how to use Lawpath Ai to check paragraphs. In the second session with paragraph numbering inserted we went through most of the document. There were only a few updates. I had noted the Warranty section from the template had to be updated as the Lawpath template inserted a paragraph for a physical product not a Saas product like I had. As time had run out (30mins ) she said for me to book another session or she could complete the paragraph. Given my unlimited advice plan I booked another session. She knew I was about to launch my product and needed to get the terms and conditions and privacy statement finalised. I received a response from Lawpath that my appointment was rejected. The lawyer had said she has had 3 appointments with me and that any further advice would be a 1:1 formal legal drafting -of the warranty paragraph and she would supply a quote. I was shocked. I provided a complaint to my Lawpath Account Manager that I was suppose to get unlimited consults in my plan. Over 1.5 days later at 5.30pm my Account Manager responded. She said "While there is no strict session limit, if the lawyer determines that the support extends into substantive legal drafting, detailed clause analysis, preparation, or ongoing revisions, this generally falls outside the scope of standard consultations. In those instances, the lawyer will discuss the most appropriate way to support you through a separate legal service solution." In my case she gave me no option and we are talking 1 paragraph. A paragraph I rewrote using Lawpath AI in 2 mins. I asked for where in the term & conditions and advertising does it say that call are capped under the "unlimited" calls subscription. It doesn't - it says (buried in the fine print in their terms and conditions) a lawyer can refuse a consult but Lawpath will assign another lawyer if that is the case. This was not the case. I haven't heard from the account manager since - now 3 days. My account renews shortly. You can't cancel online as they no longer have the free version. I lowered my subscription (upfront ) to the second tier ie templates plus Ai - who needs unethical lawyers who leave you high and dry when you most need them. The Ai deep thinking is good. Just ask their AI how it works and you can see the level of data that has gone to create it. My advice is buyer beware - the Legal Advice Plan does not provide unlimited consults. In fact is is lawyers using aggressive sales tactics to get customers to pay them. Once they have done 3 consults like my experience they will reject the appointment hoping to force you into a position to pay (you have spent time with them to understand your business). Lawpaths "unlimited" consults as shown in all their advertisements is false, misleading and deceptive and a breach of their own terms. Their lawyers don't work to the model their advertise. As a Fintech founder myself this has been a very disappointing experience. To be honest it is shameful for a founding company to do this to other Founders.

So, do not work with this company. Do not use this company. Try something else. Register your business elsewhere because you're not going to get support when you really need it urgently. It's infuriating and hopeless. I've given a zero for rates and fees purely because I am not getting any value for my money right now. Initially, I thought the pricing was good, but then I realized that there is no support and no help on a broken platform. Therefore, I can't give it a good price because I feel like I've been ripped off.

Lawpath's online systems, especially their documentation completion and submission systems are excellent, with clear, easy to follow instructions, and time saving, auto fill functionality. I don't think I've ever had such an easy and pleasant time processing business-related account and legal processes.

AI/Bot chatline linked to email. Their response is 'canned' with no personal reaction. Information is repeated and there is no 'time critical' acceptance or conversation. If you call the support number, you end up in a chat line...a pity because the concept is good.

I just wanted to download the document I just signed which was sent to me by the other party. Pressed the button "Upgrade to Download" and then created a free account with Lawpath. I had a really poor experience, From the very beginning i was suckered into paying more and more money. To the point, they restricted access to documents im legally required to sign, until i paid another large lump sum. Absolutely Shocked.

Stay away from it! They will keep charging you without notice and will haress you for payment. Not to mention the workpapers are poor, Chat GTP can do it better.

Scammers and cash grab - I abandoned registration to receive an email stating I will be direct debited from my bank account despite never completing the registration process with their website. HAve been charged $910 regardless of my emails to support objecting to their notification. Heard Nothing back. Avoid at all costs

No refunds – Watch out, they won't refund your subscription if you forget to cancel it. Also will keep spam calling you to upsell you on their services once you sign up.

Save Money and Stress - can’t recommend georgie and the plans enough – I set up my company with Georgie she was very knowledgable and she really simplified the process! She recommended getting legal advice prior to registration and i am so glad i did - signing up to the legal advice plan saved me money, not only prior to registration process but has saved me thousands in the few months i’ve been on it. Do not use this company – After the trial period i wanted to delete my account and contacted them multiple times. When you try to online it doesn't let you and they charged me for a year subscription even though I contacted them multiple times. Now I need to work out how to deregister my business, abn and address as they did it its virtually impossible for me to access or change. Do not use this company.

Unethical scammers, do not use – Do not use this company, they are unethical and scammers. They dupe people into paying for documents when they are advertised free, and get people stuck on long term subscriptions which they can not cancel!

For a company whose target audience is small businesses - many of whom would be new start ups, their subscription and billing options lack connection and understanding for this audience. possibility for being billed monthly on the "Essentials" plan and my experiences with the customer service agents "Joseph" and "Georgia", proved just how far into the gutter this aspect of a company's reputation has become. Furthermore "Ross", one of their business consultants, wasted no time in making three attempts to call me the moment I clicked the account sign up button. From the follow up email communication with him, the revealed intention of that was for a sales pitch, and upon expressing my discontent with the billing limitations, I was met with further lack of any worthy customer service experience. For their so called understanding of the cashflow challenges which new small businesses can face, Lawpath do not reflect a true connection or customer-centric approach to this. In 2021 the cost of the same plan (Essentials) was $288. It has now jumped to $468 with payment still expected to be made upfront, and a collective adamance that there is no monthly payment arrangement which can be made. The irony then lies in the fact that all other plans above Essentials are available on a monthly billing cycle - however you need to be prepared to pay an additional $100/month for this. Lawpath evidently have the billing software capabilities to offer monthly payment options, they simply choose not to for reasons they provide no worthy explanation for, merely palming off and ignoring the concerns raised. I made it very clear to all Lawpath employees I communicated with that I have no issue with paying the $468 across the course of the year, but require the flexibility to do so across monthly installments - a feature which is very common place amongst many other subscription based platforms and services.

E-Signing - Need an autofill feature – Happy that Lawpath provides an ASIC agency service and reminds when it is time for annual compliance and solvency certificates. However it would much more useful if when logging into the Account the document automatically filled in the company details rather than that needing to be manually inserted. This is especially problematic when you have multiple companies and have to then recall which company you are meant to be signing for!

I just got another call from another side-winder who didn't give his name and went through the same dog & pony show as the others. This is 'you know which type' call centre fraud at its' worst. I didn't have a use for it at the time but the sales rep said it was the last time the rebate is available (using time scarcity) and the service is essentially free with the guaranteed rebate. later, I am doing my taxes and realised I was never paid the rebate and Small Business Victoria is saying there was an additional form I didn't fill out which I was NOT told by the Lawpath sales rep.

As a small business, $1200 is a substantial amount of money to lose over a service I did not need or use.

In addition to this, they also promised a $200 referral fee for successful referrals which was also never paid.

This company is just out there to scam people's money with absolute rubbish after-sales service so stay away. As far as possible.
