I have been with Leaptel a considerable number of years and have found the product and service to be excellent. Any difficulties have been dealt with promptly and my dealings with personal have been friendly and productive. I have always been happy with speed and reliability; interruptions are usually caused by NBN and I usually get plenty of notification. first 6 months, and I cannot see why I wont be changing suppliers from my current $84 a month supplier to the Leaptel $49-95 Pronto 25 speed plan as it is sufficient for 2 people living at home.

their service has been going downhill for about 5 years and I was literally only getting half the speed I was paying for (12/5 versus paying for 25/5) and their support was quite literally worse than useless.

Upon completing my cancellation with that old ISP I immediately signed up with Leaptel (having spent a week or so researching them prior to this and noting that many unhappy customers from my old ISP had also chosen Leaptel and were extremely happy). My online sign up with Leaptel was completed probably around 10.00 AM or thereabouts. I was beyond astonished to receive an email and text from them a mere 7 hours later to tell me my new NBN service was now up and running with Leaptel (I thought I would be lucky if it took a few days or the best part of a week). After spending one minute re-configuring the modem using the info in the email message from them, I was back on the internet. And right from the very start, I had all the speed I was paying for (and then some).

The service is flawless, the connection is flawless, the speed is at least the advertised speed and the support is by fellow Australians who are experts and locally based. These support people actually went out of their way too when there was a minor glitch in the pro-forma for signing up due to my old account having a first digit alpha. And they are doing their best when it comes to the VOIP porting even though I told them it is a relatively minor concern as regards the number and the timing of getting that up and running. As in don't bust a gut but they are anyway.

It feels so good to be with a great, local company after years of dealing with a company that no longer was what it used to be. I can only hope Leaptel remain what they are today. I will definitely be encouraging other family members to join.

Was good from the start – Been with them for a few years. Often were efficient and supportive. Was good whilst on Opticomm then we moved house now on NBN. They refused to offer existing customers the same price they offer to new customers. We continue to experience frequent daily service drop-out issues which eventually led us to switching the service to Aussie Broadband.… Read more

I was very clear with the service end date as I was to start with Aussie from 1 March, but they disconnected my service just after 12am 28 Feb. I already paid up to 28 Feb so they should not have disconnected my service prematurely. Lack of care or consideration for existing customers. Shame as I was happy supporting a small Aussie company.

Best Customer Service Ever – I joined Leaptel earlier this year after problems with my previous ISP. The change was a breath of fresh air! had any problems, but I don't dread calling even if I did because I know I will have a knowledgeable person on the phone able to provide me with any information I need. Their on hold music is more groovy than another other provider, but I have never been on hold long enough to enjoy it! I haven't had any connection problems, joining was easy and pain free and I was connected without any hassle. 100% would recommend to friend or family. In fact, I already have!

The customer service is excellent – We have fairly consistent and reliable service, the speeds are generally pretty good, still get the occasional short drop out but that's usually a switch the modem off and on again fix.
