Initial experience was really great. A senior sales guys takes over at Lennock Skoda, Canberra and things start to get unprofessional, dishonest, pushy at times but unhelpful for the most part. Staff, including the management is in need of trainings. It was an unforgettable experience and I'm hesitant to deal with Lennock Skoda/VW group again.
Confirm your Extended Warranty with Nissan Aus - APPALLING
We brought a Pathfinder a few years back and had moved state since, We took our car to a Nissan dealer in Brisbane for a Service & Warranty repair. After some searching, we found that the $1363.64 that we paid for the Extended Warranty was never paid to Nissan Aus - so basically Lennock Motors pocketed that cash.
After 4 months of me and my wife calling Lennock Motors and Nissan Aus, they finally agreed to accept any warranty issue as per what was paid for - I had to call a few more times to get that in writing.
Once the Brisbane dealer had ...investigated the issue with our Pathfinder and detailed the invoice, Lennock Motors replied saying that had to approve the funds for this repair before the works commenced. (I almost exploded). Eventually after some prodding they approved the funds, and the repairs were made – this all occurred over 9 months. DO NOT BUY FROM LENNOCK MOTORS – But if you do check with Nissan Aus that your Extended Warranty has been entered into their system.
I recently purchased a 2012 Nissan Xtrail online !
I was really worried at first as I live in NSW and it felt like a massive gamble . Due to Covid there were no good cars fitting what I needed so I took the risk..
When my car arrived there was a few things that needed fixing( not major) and the salesperson Rob who I had been dealing with was amazing! Everything was fixed under warranty and he was apologetic for the oversight.
I would recommend Lennock Motors for a used car , and absolutely would recommend Rob!

Worst service booking experience
We have a Freelander 2 we purchased in NSW. We attempted to get our car booked in for a service via the online booking tool. We entered all the required information, chose the next available day and advised what sort of service we needed. Entered all contact details and submitted our booking. On the day of the booking, my husband took the day off work to arrange this, arrived and there was no record of the booking and they refused to book us in! Disgusting! If you are going to use modern online booking tools, make sure they work!
Bought a car from interstate and was really pleased, upon arrival.
After initial anxiety of buying a car without seeing in person (right in the midst of covid 19), l was really pleased and relieved once it arrived, especially as getting close to $20k. The sales man Alan (lrish Guy) gave me a run down on the phone and it was pretty much as described, if not even better, once arrived. Had it for 2 months now and no probs whatsover, so overall l have to give them the thumbs up!
Not honest and upfront
Bought a Yaris from Lennock. I’m from Sydney so I did a FaceTime call with the sales man Alan. He mentioned that there was a dent on the Right quarter panel, but failed to mention that damage on the roof, the dent on the bonnet, dents in the Left front door, ripped drivers carpet. I drove to Canberra from Sydney to pick it up. He said it was serviced. I took it to my mechanic, and discovered the car was not serviced, plugs were old, oil was old, air filter was old, gear oil was old. The car stunk. I had it steam cleaned in Sydney. Terrible car that I was sold that would have had mechanical issues if I had not serviced it in Sydney. I would never recommend Lennock motors.
GOOD BUYING EXPERIENCE
We recently purchased a demo/used 2019 Range Rover Velar from Lennock Motors. Our buying experience was good. In particular Jessica went out of her way to help smooth the buying experience during Covid 19 restricitions. We are very particular buyers, we expect Jessica has never before dealt with such particular customers, nevertheless she dealt with us in a very professional, honest and helpful manner. We were able to purchase the vehicle without ever needing to go near the Lennock Motors Canberra faciltiy, Jessica drove the vehicle to us for t...he original inspection and test drive, then drove it to us for purchase handover. Though having no face to face dealings with Lennock Motors led to a few minor misunderstandings these were all corrected in a very professional manner. Thank you Jessica and thank you Lennock Motors.

Unfortunately, his behaviour in a recent transaction ensured that I never buy from this dealership again. Hopefully, you will never have the burden of lining his pockets with your hard-earned cash.
Professional and reliable
I had to buy a used car after the hailstorms (and was not looking forward to it) and found a 2007 CX-9.
I dealt with Greg Higgs and he was the most professional, pleasant salesman I have ever dealt with. It was a great price but needed the fuel gauge and tachometer repaired. It turned out to be a bit more of a repair job than first thought but Greg didn’t hesitate to fix it and do the right thing by me.
He even loaned me a car for the time he had it.
I can’t recommend him highly enough and would certainly go back again.
It was a daunting thought to buy a car interstate. I emailed about a vehicle and got contacted by Billy. Billy handled my many queries with ease and accuracy. Many phone calls and honourable dealings later, we have the car and are very pleased with it. Billy did all he said he would and to do that, management must have supported him.

Deceitful operators. After travelling 2.5hrs on a Saturday morning and receiving a call on the way confirming if I was still coming. On arrival I took the vehicle for a test drive and after some further discussion agreed to purchase the vehicle if they undertook some minor repairs (tighten driving lights, replace a broken fog light etc).
I was then advised that these requests couldn't be undertaken as vehicle was being sold at "cost price"..............I thought this to be somewhat odd.
I was then told that if I wanted to purchase the v...ehicle that I needed to make a decision quickly as the vehicle was on hold to another buyer who was awaiting finance approval. I walked out. I was blown away with this awful tacit. Whilst gazumping is not illegal in Australia, I don't think it is professionally ethical.
I had dramas with my car whilst on a road trip. James and his team at Lennock Service (VW) bent over backwards to help out when no one else could/would. With no notice, and without a booking, he squeezed my car into his busy schedule and got us back on the road. Even had my car washed and vacuumed!
Easy interstate used car purchase
I recently purchased a used 2015 Mitsubishi Challenger sight unseen from this company and found them great to deal with. The salesman that we dealt with (James Battersby) was honest and very helpful throughout the sale and afterwards with coordinating to get the vehicle transported to the Gold Coast. When we picked the car up from the transportation company the car was exactly as described and we are very happy with the whole experience!

Very expensive annual services. I have Takata airbags the replacement of which keeps being delayed further and further, even though my car is 10 years old. On line chat service is useless, promising a call back which doesn't happen. Volkswagen were more helpful in the explanation for the delay. Not impressed at all with Lennock. I have been a faithful customer for 10 years but they obviously don't respect that.
Exceptional Sales Person and Great Team Work - Will go back again
I have Hyundai i30. I went to buy a spare part for it and I was approached by Chris (Casmious)! who asked if he can help. Despite the fact that I was purchasing a sma;ll cheap part Chris was genuine and helpful. He guided me to the right department and he made sure that my needs were attended to. He spoke to the Service Manager Michael Jurgens who helped me to install the door lock while I am fitting my tyres at the tyre centre. Also Lauchlan and Tiana from the tyre centre were professional, pleasant and customer centric. This excellent service...that I have experienced will encourage me to go back to service my Hyundai or to purchase a new car if the needs arise. The named personal managed to impress me and I walked out happy with the intention to go back again. Great team work that had to be recognised. Eddie Soliman
Purchased a used vehicle from Lennock Dec 2018. Despite patience and perserverance, sales person Jason failed to follow through on basics.
Agreed on tow bar and rear reflector, no response.... dismal
During the sales process lots of talk no follow through... frustrating is an understatement
Bought a 2013 Nissan Navara 3 months ago. The rego papers contained an error. 5 hours later fixed. A few weeks later, the aircon stopped working. I was told that it was a consumable. Three times back and a hole was fixed. I asked for a 2nd key. Two times back and I am told that the can’t code the key. 3 months later and I am told that the vehicle requires new disc brakes. The vehicle requires another wheel allingnment and no one knows about my extended warranty!! So much for a reliable dealership!
A used car dealer with honesty, sincerity, integrity & no Spin!
I purchase a used car ever 12-24 months due to the amount of Km required for work - so I have a bit of fun and vary lots of different types of vehicles for 30 years now.
I have had some great cars and some horror stories too. BUT In all that time I have never come across the degree of professionalism and real customer service as I have experienced on this occasion with Jason & his team at Lennock Used cars.
With all the silly season pressure on they instantly addressed a couple of small hiccups and hunted down the best real used car war...ranty insurance for my mechanical complicated 335i ride to suite me. Service like this I have not experienced since the 1980's Customer focus TQM management model. Will definitely come back for all my upgrades & recommend them to anyone who wants to know they will actually be listened to and looked after. The car sold itself - It is the customer service with up front honesty and integrity - no spin - no pressure - honest pricing - So impressed Im writing this blog strait after delivery! & Oh yes- car runs perfect too.
