I’ve been using the NCM T3s Sand as my daily commuter, and it’s been a great experience overall. The bike feels solid and reliable, which is exactly what you want when riding every day. The motor provides smooth, consistent assistance that makes getting up hills and accelerating from stops easy, especially during busy traffic. For commuting, the… Read more
comfort really stands out. The riding position is relaxed, the saddle is comfortable, and the suspension does a good job of absorbing bumps and rough pavement. I arrive at my destination feeling much less tired compared to riding others bike. The battery life very impressive which I can get several journeys out of a single charge, which makes it very practical for everyday use. The clean sand color looks modern and understated, and the bike gets compliments without being flashy.
I bought a ET-CYCLE F720 from Pedl here in Sydney. The Bike after 2 years was a total lemon. However it all came to a head when the sensor in the motor that the computer talks to failed. The computer on my bike started to turn off every 5 minutes so I took it to my local authorised Leon Cycle dealer. They advised me that the sensor failed. I… Read more
asked them to give me a quote to repair.
I was advised that the part couldn't be repaired and I required a whole new motor/ rear wheel. And I was quoted $800 fitted.
I paid $1995 for the bike therefore under the Consumer Guarantee provisions of Australian Consumer law I am entitled to have this replaced for free.
Well Leon Cycle was not having a bar of this, I even sent them the official government PDF which advises them of their legal obligations under Australian consumer law (Photos of the emails attached.
So basically I paid $1995 for a bike that was useless after two years.
BUYER BEWARE.
DO NOT PURCHASE AN ELECTRIC BIKE FROM LEON CYCLES AS THEY WILL NOT COMPLY WITH THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER CONSUMER GUARANTEE PROVISIONS OF AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW.
Lemmons for sale – This company sells lemmons I bought a new bike from leon cycles and it won't work at all I can't believe I bought a new bike and it's a lemmon
2nd Bike from Leon Cycle. Best E-Bikes – This is my second bike form Leon Cycle. Purchased NCM Paris Max for the wife and she absolutely love it. The folding frame make the bike more handy to carry around. Thoroughly Recommended.
disappointing and unprofessional – My recent experience with Leon Cycles has been highly disappointing and unprofessional. I purchased a bike with the expectation of quality and support, but instead faced serious safety issues that Leon Cycles has failed to resolve effectively. Upon arrival, the bike had clear faults—a misaligned rear mudguard and a cable dangerously close to the… Read more
tyre, both of which posed real safety risks. I immediately reported these issues, expecting Leon Cycles to prioritize customer safety. Instead, I encountered repeated delays, minimal assistance, and an offer of a mere a tiny refund—an amount completely inadequate to address these serious defects.
After weeks of back-and-forth, Leon Cycles finally suggested a replacement, yet assumed that I hadn’t been riding the bike due to safety concerns. This assumption was not only unprofessional but also inconsiderate, as I had already made it clear that this bike is my only transportation for commuting. Even now, I am waiting on a viable solution, either a proper replacement or a refund that covers the necessary repairs.
Leon Cycles has demonstrated a lack of urgency, accountability, and professionalism in handling a simple yet critical issue. The disregard for customer safety and satisfaction is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend them until they make serious improvements in both product quality and customer support.
AVOID – Had an NCM Milano Plus, lots of problems from start - poor build quality. Broken spokes, pieces that just break off, screws disappearing. The worst is the customer service though - no phone number and months of waiting for replies to emails, only to never resolve issues. Ended it up selling it for pennies just to be done with it. Avoid this company at all costs.
Very impressed with customer service/sales team – Very impressed with customer service/sales team, very friendly and even gave me the reduced price even though I bought the day before going on sale. I have them a call because I was spewn I missed out on 10% off and they didn't hesitate to give me deal. Happy with the Moscow plus, for the money you probably can't get any better. The whole process of buying right through to delivery was one of the best customer experiences I've had in a while.
This bike is cheap and nasty – Cheap and nasty and no quality control in finished product. The battery has broken off and I have had to tape it on with electrical tape. Back spokes have broken and been replaced. Their gauge was too thin from factory. They may as well have used coat hanger wire. Hard to change punctures which seem to happen frequently until I changed to Continental tyres.
Bike tube – How long considering you are within 2kms of the airport does it take to ship to Qld,no tracking number and $8 delivery is outrageous considering its normal post first and last but from this company!
Sent the wrong tubes, promptly refunded – They had Aussie stock, they refunded the failed order. *********** So the mudguard that came without mounting hardware, it's got witness marks on it from where it was previously installed, so I got a kind of new mudguard either previously fitted or with the hardware removed before it got to me. Not the end of the world to me but probably to… Read more

This was probably an error of inventory system logistics and web site design, but its an error none the less. To their credit they refunded the tube cost quickly.
The mudguard came RAW, with no mounting hardware, which sucks a bit, but it does match the picture.

I bought some replacement tires and tubes.
The picture and listing for the tubes had presta valvaes.
The tubes they sent me had schrader valves.
They didn't even pay attention to the order - here's some crappy tubes to go with your high pressure tires.
Avoid this place – I bought an electric bike off of these guys in December 2021. I really was not happy with the bike so I got in contact with the company to see what my options were. I spoke to the manager/owner who was quite helpful and polite. He said he could not give me a refund (which is fair enough) but I could either bring the bike in and they could sell it… Read more
on my behalf as a ‘demo model’ or I had the option to do an exchange. I organised with the manager/owner to bring it in for either of those options (would test ride others to see or go with selling in store).
When I brought it in, I was met with the rudest staff member I have ever come across and by far the worst customer service I have encountered. He was not helpful in the slightest and was rude and just berated me. He lectured me on how he could have sold the bike to someone else that day and how disappointed and annoyed that person is and that person had to drive from interstate or something (even though they literally sell the bike I bought everywhere). He then went on to patronise me about why I was bringing the bike back and how stupid that was. He then just kept lecturing me about how he is now ‘expected’ to sell a used bike - even though this bike had literally done 40km total and was quite literally in brand new condition. He then continued to lecture me on how someones else could have bought the bike the same day and how bad that was for me. I eventually rang the owner as I was completely fed up with being berated and patronised, and the owner said I could leave the bike there and we could come to a solution, he would have to check with his boss. I came back into the store and the staff member was not happy with that at all. He then went on to tell me how he wouldn’t even try and sell my bike basically hinting that it would be a complete waste of time. He then went on to complain about how my bike would take up ‘precious’ space in the store and where did I expected him to put it and was talking about the floor plan and dimensions of the shop. He then went on to lecture me about he he couldn’t be bothered doing the paperwork to change over the bike and that it would mess up his system.
The issue here is not the fact that I was not offered a refund, it was the appalling behaviour of the employee. I was told on the phone that I had two options, which was very kind of the owner to offer me, but for this employee to make it so difficult for me was outrageous. I would think twice about buying from here because if you have the slightest problem, be prepared to be berated and patronised and it be very difficult.
I have no title just facts – November 23rd, 2021 we were looking for electric mountain bikes, I called Seattle, asking if they had any Moscow Plus 26inches, they said they have a shipment coming in and they don’t know what’s in the shipment, and to call back. The reason we were interested was #1 they advertised online, the big sale to be on until the end of the year. I… Read more
thought great, we have time to see what’s in the new shipment when it arrives. After many emails and many calls to them, I finally find out they do not have 26 inch Moscow Plus just a Moscow, so I go to order and I see the price went up! I call them again and they say they have no control on the pricing! No where on their website or by phone or email do they mention the price will slowly go up. I said it was false advertising, they said they are still giving a discount. We paid approximately $400 more than what they first advertised! The bikes came in 4 days after ordering, one had the wrong connection to the battery charger and missing, was the instructional booklet. The bikes are quite heavy, the seat so uncomfortable, you HAVE to buy another one trust me! It comes bare bones. The readout screen on the Moscow, is quite a bit smaller and different than the Moscow Plus. After a email and a call to them they are sending another cord for the charger. Dealing with Seattle I don’t recommend, the bikes are good for our first electric bikes. Nothing exciting.

Know better, choose better.
Poor customer service bikes OK though – Purchased a Moscow 26 and a Moscow Plus 29 the latter was not checked over before handing over to me. Brakes were juddering and squealing, gears not adjusted and jumped out of gear when put under pressure. Returned a few days later to fix up but only adjusted the gears, cleaned the brake discs which did not work. Still juddering and squealing… Read more
not very effective brakes...
Emailed Leon Cycles Australia about the brake issue not being fixed and the reply was thanks for the feedback! As if brakes are not important on a E Bike!
Goood – I love ebikes. I had leitner ebike before. But leitner is disappointment . so I want to try an other german brand which is Leon cycle. Everything is smooth and good now.
Value for money and quality are A Plus – The Moscow Plus would have to be the top choice for this class, the frame is built very well coupled with quality gears. The hydraulic brakes are definitely worth the extra cost as is the control panel. I found the bike to ride smoothly with the front suspension. I did add a pack rack and mud guards. The sale at the Leon cycle centre was fun, I highly recommend the product and supply company.
Wrong wheel with wrong rotor installed on my Moscow Plus – Unfortunately I am still waiting for a tyre and tube for Moscow Plus to be sent out after 5 weeks (Smart Sam Tyre 27.5 + tube). Moreover as I was cleaning my brake pads to the rear brake caliper I realised that it has a smaller rotor (160mm) rather than a 180mm as in my original wheel. A wrong wheel with a different older tyre and smaller rotor… Read more
was mounted on my Moscow plus e bike when a 500w motor was installed at their premises in Laverton North. This has caused a fast deterioration of my rear brake pads and has increased the risk of injury whilst riding my bike.
Inexcusably Bad Warranty and Support – I have had my NCM Moscow Plus for a month now and it certainly delivers in terms of riding. It was great until 2 of the rear wheel spokes snapped. It is now my view that Leon Cycles backup and warranty is appalling, there was no warranty information with the bike and it took me quite a while to find warranty information on their web site. When… Read more
I did find the warranty information it only lists the battery and electrical warranty for 1 year and the bike frame warranty for 2 years are covered. Apparently the rest of the bike such as the brakes, pedels, crank, seat, etc. are not covered and could be considered expendable items such as the tyres, chain, etc.. Leon Cycles took 3 days to refuse my warranty claim with this reply "we do classify spokes as expendable/replaceable items not under warranty as they often only snap due to poor maintenance such as bumping up curbs or failure to maintain the correct tension." Keep in mind this is a Mountain Bike designed to be used on rough tracks and it is only a month (and less than 600 klm) old. If the spoke tension was faulty then it came from their bike shop like that and as it happens in this case the bike has not been ridden over any kerbs.
Warranty for battery – I contacted Shane st Leon and promptly went through the claim, mailed my battery and had a new battery sent to me. Leon paid freight both ways, who does that? Still rode my bike without battery, very smooth and no resistance from motor. Great service, would recommend to buyers.
best value for money on the market – We bought 2 Moscow Mountain bikes after being allowed to test ride. After extensive research we have found these bikes great value for money. Their battery capacity is enormous and we are regularly getting over 100ks on a full battery charge and haven't fully exhausted the battery yet. Sturdy construction and quality parts have been used.
Very Good – I was allowed to test one at the show room before I purchased. This made my decision easier. The service was good from start to finish. I am enjoying the bike very much.
