Leon's Tech

Emily from Leons Tech (Albany Creek Store, Brisbane) was amazing in replacing my power button, screen protector and ordering a new case -all withing 24 hours and for a great price. She was brilliant, friendly and totally focused on what I needed and went out of her way to help; the best customer service I have received in years.
Dishonest and unreliable – Gave Leon's tech a computer to fix paid 88 dollars up front - got a call back a few days later saying motherboard is blown - we go through the process of working out building a new system replacing parts from my system that work onto a new board - spoke about what i wanted power supply - SSD 1tb - what ram i want etc etc and how many fans in case… Read more
etc i want and what my budget is - which i told her 1500 to 2000 dollars all was good - then a few days later i get a call saying come pick up the original computer i dropped of as it is not fixable - i enquired about the new computer i asked to build using some my parts and new parts - i was told that the lady that spoke to me and organized the repair job didn't know what she was saying and that they not fix because computer is certain age and they can not get a new motherboard. they advertise they fix mother boards ( Motherboard repair) as well and build systems - i gave them a job and they failed. basically took the 88 dollars and did nothing - wasted my money and time - overall feeling is this company and workers are dishonest and unreliable - Looked at a few other reviews and see many have had issues with them - i need to remember to research reviews of companies before i use them . Many thanks
A great store and [Name Removed] is amazing – I had so much trouble changing mobile server and [Name Removed] from Chermside was so patient as it took close to two hours over two days to sort out the problem. He is so patient and knowledgeable and humble. I recommend this store. [Name Removed] is friendly and a problem-solver. Show details
Poor service – Got an Apple Watch screen protector installed last Thursday. Bubbled almost instantly in the corners. Took it back on Sunday. Attendant didn’t replace the protector, just lifted the corners and pushed the bubbles out, which obviously loosened the adhesive. Took back today, due to major bubbling where the attendant lifted the screen protector on… Read more
Sunday. Asked for refund. Attendant said they didn’t have change for the $50 note in their till. Had to go to the ATM to get cash (only had $50 notes left in ATM) then had to go to another shop to get change, so your attendant could refund us.
Very poor service. I do not recommend Leon’s tech to anyone due to this absolutely poor experience with them. The first thing I’m told by anyone about putting on a screen protector is, once it is installed, NEVER lift it, otherwise it needs replacing. This experience would have been resolved if the attendant just replaced the bubbled protector they poorly installed instead of trying to repair it.
Glass face on iwatch faulty and no warranty. Disgraceful! – The guy put on a glass face on iwatch which bubbled afterwards then cracked after 2 weeks. My husband took it back and was told it wasn't under warranty and he would have to pay another $25 to replace it. What a joke! The guys care factor was 0. No customer service and poor quality products. We DO NOT recommend this place Show details
Sooo much inconvenience!!! – Leon’s tech. You cannot even comprehend the amount of struggles this company put me through, whilst fixing the I-pad screen they managed to make the home button not work (somehow not their fault). So I’m told this the day i’m about to pick it up, yet they kindly let me use their spare I-Pad in the meantime for school.(They don’t refund the repair,… Read more
but they don’t charge us for the home button repair, and give us a free screen protector with some arguing from my stepmother :/). Yet, when I got my I-pad back 4 days later, i noticed some hair under the new screen, and some weird crumb looking thing. Not only was this annoying for the view, but the new screen seemed to be a lower model. I have reason to believe this because the screen is to small (doesn’t have the same border placement as before, or like other peoples 8th generations), and not only this but the touch id function has been fully disabled. This is only the beginning of my problems, as soon as i got my I-pad back i started to get a lot of tech issues, such as my messages not letting me sign it, my brightness tab not working, and not being able to shut down my I-Pad. This is very inconvenient for me as my I-pad is my work tool. I do not wish to go back to Leon’s tech to get them to fix it as i find they are u reliable, now I must seek a high costing repair for their mistake. I do not wish to make a local place go out of buisness, but I hope to make others aware of my struggles as a warning.
Absolute incompetence and zero care for customer satisfaction – My Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a cracked screen, as I live in Bracken Ridge, I knew this shop repairs computers so I decided to ask if they could fix mine When I went to the shop, the attendant was confident the screen could be replaced and took the job. I paid $145 deposit and left confident the computer would be fixed After 2 weeks of not… Read more
hearing anything, I called to see at what stage my job repair was and that stage they told me that they were still waiting on the parts 2 more week went past and still no info forthcoming from them, so I called again; at this stage they told me that they couldn't do anything and the screen couldn't be fixed (ridiculous) I told them I wanted a refund and my lap top back and went to pick it up, as I arrived I was handed back my computer in a much worst state that I gave it to them, initially the screen only had a crack in the middle, but now it's all broken up around the edges and in a quite bad state and I can't use it as I was before I gave it to them. Basically they made things a lot worst I was given a full refund of what i had paid but my property is now in a much worst state then it was before and it will cost more to be repaired
