After care service appalling – I moved into a brand new house which had LG split ducted aircon. It never worked properly from the beginning Kept trying different things like they suggested. I asked for them to come and look at it for me and it took 5 weeks before anyone came out!!!! Absolutely appalling customer service. never use them again!!!!! nothing never worked

So far so good! – I bought the 2.5kw unit for my bedroom after going to my local retailer for the Samsung equivalent that got highly rated by choice magazine. The Samsung was out of stock but they gave me a good price on the LG so I went with it. After returning home and reading some reviews on unreliable LG air conditioners and poor service I am now a bit nervous. Thankfully there is a five year warranty!! The unit has been installed for two weeks and has been used daily in heating mode and has proved to be quiet and effective. The remote is easy to use and the unit itself is inoffensive to look at. As I live in a cold mountainous region the unit was purchased mainly for its heating. It remains to be seen how the electricity bill will be affected now that the electric column heater is no longer in use. Inexpensive
