POOR AFTER SALES SUPPORT!! Bought June 2020, was going well until last week. Fridge/freezer not cooling anymore. Tried to contact customer service on LG website-- it is TERRIBLE-- constant loop without any option to speak with a CSR. Poor website and customer support when you really need it. Lasted 4 years - which in my opinion is poor value for a fridge worth over $1000. Also LG fridges apparently a linear compressor issue + lawsuit. Avoid the headache.

Unreliable - compressor failed twice in 5 years – I purchased this fridge in 2019 and the compressor has died twice in 5 years. Not only is the fridge unreliable, but this time it’s taken 4 weeks, during summer, to get an offer to repair from LG. The customer service has been slow and I have had to constantly follow up, even with the service technicians who mentioned they hear it a lot from their LG customers. My experience has changed my mind about investing in LG products for the reliability and service capabilities, because I would just never recommend this company or product to anyone.

Let down by poor shelf positions – Best in Class energy-efficiency, great looking appliance in black finish, poorly designed shelf adjustment and door shelf design. If you want to stand common supermarket bottle, milk/juice/soft drink, on the bottom shelf you will need to remove completely the shelf above. The only alternate position for the shelf is so close to the shelf above as to be unusable. (approx 5cm). Useful for storing flatbread but will not fit any but the tiniest food containers. Even then you won't be able to fit an adult hand between the shelves to get at the back. Similarly only the bottom door shelf will fit 2lt milk /juice/soft drink bottles. There is height enough that the shelf above could have a lower position, as it is you can't fit common 1 litre items in it. This would be a difficult fridge to stock with food for a couple let alone a family.
