This fridge has been great – I'm surprised at the poor reviews for this fridge. We've had ours about 2 years now and it's been great. The best feature is the freezer draw which is spacious. The french door cooler is so much roomier than a side by side. Show details

Nice fridge with modest features – Had this fridge for just over a year now. Held up pretty well and has performed great. Plumbed water means we get fresh cold water and ice with also the option of it being crushed or in cubes. With the ability to also change temps for both fridge and freezer, and great LED lighting inside, I give it 5 stars.  Show details

Great features – This fridge has it lol even a smart phone app to tell you what's wrong with the fridge if you experience problems. The downfall though is the design of the water container I have had it repaired after 3 weeks due to constant dripping Even after fixing the piece called the assembly it drips a little I would have thought the design is an engineering fault.  Show details

Perfect best fridge ever – this is a great fridge it is so easy to clean it keeps the right temperature throughout the fridge and the water compartment is always icy cold which i love and it is so quiet you wonder sometimes if its working after having such a noisy fridge for so long  Show details

Bad LG service and customer support do not know their fridges! – Can't clean the bottom shelf and LG can send a new one (under warranty) but say I have to pay for it's installation as it's designed so you can't replace it yourself! he said he was, I can only assume he was saying he was Mr. Juno Cho, but somehow I doubt it. Very poor customer service...telling me the customer is wrong and they won't give me a fully installed clean shelf in my fridge.

FINALLY HAD THIS RESOLVED AFTER GOING THROUGH CONSUMER AFFAIRS. ENDED UP THE SHELF WAS REMOVABLE BUT VERY STUCK DUE TO THE SPILL BECOMING SO STICKY AFTER SUCH A LONG TIME. So I found it strange LG told me themselves it couldn't be removed, but the person installing a new one (who brought the wrong shelf anyway) was able to remove it and we cleaned it! Other than this problem, I do find it a descent fridge.

LG warranty is a joke – Our fridge has faulty sliders for freezer door and freezer draw and insulated panel in back of freezer. We lost a freezer full of meat and frozen products due to this problem. are waiting for parts from LG. We were told this is a common fault in these fridges so you would assume they would have these parts readily available

I do not recommend LG refrigerators and would not purchase any of their products because of the hopeless after sales services.

Ok but wish we'd read reviews first – Like the storage and the freezer drawer. Lots of internal space and great for platters but.... The exterior is almost impossible to keep looking clean, even with cleaning oil or wipes. it...worst ever purchase! The Look Condensation on the outside is the biggest problem and hard to clean stainless steel.

Great fridge freezer – Had it a year now, yes the ice sometimes needs breaking up but nearby instructions makes it easy...plus it beeps to warn me that I've left the door open- with kids an essential! Very spacious freezer area too, pleased I didn't go for a side by side option. Lots of useful compartments in fridge.

Total mistake buying this fridge – Just bought this fridge on Saturday, it's now Monday and it's broken already. thing. I didn't dare ask what would happen if the fridge actually broke down on the 8th day after purchase. Totally has put me off dealing with LG and their products. The place I bought it from has thankfully agreed to let me chose another fridge instead of a replacement. Just be weary before you buy.

Do not buy this fridge! – We bought this fridge in May and since then the ice-maker and water dispenser have not been functioning properly. We have had the fridge repaired four times already and the guy is coming back again today. Since he repaired it yesterday it is now leaking on the wooden floor! We wish we had never bought it! the "look" It doesn't work!

Dont buy it – Whilst this is a nice looking fridge full of functions i wouldn't recommend buying one. After much fighting with LG, i am onto my second version of the same fridge, and have had 3 repairs, all within 5 months. open the freezer you have ice dropping at your feet and constant water on the floor. LG seem to be in denial about the problem, but seeing as i have now had 2 fridges with the same problem, it was obviously not just one faulty fridge - its a design flaw. Adjustable shelves. Freezer ices up all the time.

Love the design and space – love the in door ice dispenser which means there is no ice making box inside the fridge, saving a lot of space. the in door ice maker surprisingly hold a large amount of ice. the shelves are all easily moveable as per height required. overall a very good fridge design. Also comes with a 10 year linear compressor warranty, which adds to the peace of mind. ice dispenser in the door, saving valuable space inside. shelves easily adjustable.  Show reply
