LG products & customer care are awful – We had 2 of these units already installed in the house from previous owner, but we no longer use them as the noise volume and getting parts in from repairers takes a while. The main complaint is, as the other reviewers have said LG have the worst customer care in the world, I dealt with a lady so called customer care person and truly some of… Read more

the most rudest, ignorant, couldn't care less attitude, this was the same experience with the LG diswasher we used. Prefer if LG products were all in a massive dump as they shouldn't be selling sub standard products here and offer a lip service rude customer care. So buyer beware, try another manufacturer.

Uses tonnes of electricity – Used the ergon watt meter, uses over $1 hour to use in tropical heat, cuts out regularly when it hasn't reached desired temp, has been cleaned and gets serviced regularly (also regular maintenance calls) next time will install a more expensive inverter ac to save $$ in the long run. Not recommended. It's an air conditioner Uses way too much electricity

Excellent – This Air Con makes hot summers history. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy but that doesn't really matter. One annoying thing is that it didn't cool down my whole house, which is quite small. The heating system is great, it's much better than most air con/heating systems. Highly reccommended. Hmm, I've been using this Air Con for a while now, and it… Read more

works perfectly. It doesn't take long to start up of to cool the room down. Sometimes I find that if the remote isn't ponting at the Air Con, it doesn't work, which is annyoing!

Excellent – We will definitely buy an LG Air conditioner again. We purchased it new and had no troubles with it at all, it did an excellent job. Heated/cooled our 3 bedroom villa efficiently and quickly, have not had any problems in over three years of owning the unit. We had to have the outdoor unit installed on the exterior wall due to strata regulations… Read more

and so our wall vibrated when the unit was operating, outdoor in our courtyard the outside unit was too noisy to use the courtyard. These problems were due to limited space, on a house I think it would be fine.

Terrible – Noisy, electronic problems require parts to be shipped in taking up to 5-6 weeks. The parts can burn out and qualified repairers hate them. If the electronic component that manages them fails after 5 years they are just trash stuck to your wall. Un repairable. Never again Great features in the promotion booklet. Noisy, irregular dispersal of air. Sometimes do not work. No manual over ride is a major mistake

Terrible – I had two of these units installed on the same day. One has worked reliably but the other has been a constant source of problems. After numerous repairs LG replaced it just before the warranty expired. The replacement unit is no better and required repairs almost immediately. I plan to replace both units with a more reliable make. The LG… Read more

airconditioners can go to the dump. Never again. very good when new. Performance deteriorates each year. Frequent repairs required. Have to wait several weeks for parts

Good – We have had this unit installed for over 2 years now and could not fault the unit itself. We had one small issue when it had run out of warranty by two weeks and LG still paid for the repair without hesitation. The heating cycle on this unit is superior to any other air conditioner that I have ever used. It would heat our whole house (4 bedroom… Read more

open plan) within 1 hour.

I would definetely recomend the LG to anyone who is looking for a split system. Great value for money, low power consumption for the size of the unit. Good customer support from LG. Servicing agents let the product down with there lack of knowledge and uncarring attitude. Parts take a long time to arrive.
