When it is washing we can’t see the control panel? Eg we can’t see the remaining time to finish the cycle?
Re L.G dishwashers, WHICH IS THE DARKER COLOUR FINISH? Platinum Steel or Noble Steel? Thanks in advance.
Does the front have any display/countdown or are they ONLY on the top of the lid??
No. However, if you get down and look between the slit you can see time remaining. I did this for the first few times as it was mostly silent and I thought it was finished. After about 5 washes you just trust it will finish, open the door and do it's little song.
Hi, Does the front display only have the one little circle when it's running or should it display run time left etc?
The description states it comes with a basket and the instructions show that it has a basket. Does it come with a cutlery basket? A few have said it doesn’t.
Only has a tray no basket. But honestly get a Bosch , LG service is crap
I love the cutlery tray. Stack it like an ocd person would, ie. Line up the knives, forks and spoons and you will never go back to a filthy basket. I think you can order an after market basket seperately?
I see that LG sell Dishwashers and Fridges in this "Noble Steel" colour. Is it actually Stainless Steel, or one of these "laminated Dual Coated" finishes, that give an "approximate" stainless look/finish?
Can you set a time using the App or other way to run cycles so it runs using Solar generation time? There is a delayed start but would be easier to set to run the same time every day once wash is imitated.
Makes sense but I think it remembers all the settings. I'd leave the wifi capability off to be honest.
I haven't tried it, but apparently you can sync your phone to the dishwasher and I would imagine you could set it from there. As the ThinQ app works with Google/Alexa, you should be able to set the dishwasher through them to come on at the same time everyday as long as the door is shut! Might have to research that a bit more to be sure, or ask them at LG!
Is it worth buying compare to Bosch?
Hi there, depending on how much you want to spend our dishwasher has been fantastic so far, majority of our appliances at home is LG and never had an user so far. Dishwasher was $850 but we got extended warranty as well for peace of mind bringing the price to $1100. If you are choosing to go Bosch get the one which are made in Germany you do pay extra though.
If you open the door in the middle of a cycle, will the cycle continue when you close the door?
Hi there, no I haven’t been game to try it as i’m still In the ‘new dishwasher stage’,
Yes the wash will resume when you close the door.
How do you get to the 38minute cycle? Can only find an hour one
Sorry unable to answer that as I have only used turbo extra dry cycle.
Press and hold turbo button. Note that any of the buttons with an * have a second function when held for 3 seconds.
