We have installed LG air conditioner ws09twn, it leaks in humid day, we asked installer to check, found out it was indoor quality issue, and installer said will contact LG to get indoor unit replaced. 9 months passed, no thing happened. DO buy LG if you want any trouble!
Awful product, awful warranty response. we had two LG air conditioners installed in December 2024 and both are leaking inside the house have been since the day they were installed. We know 3 people with LG units and all three are leaking!
LG warranty have been ignoring us for months, we have significant water damage to the walls and floor, and we cant use the systems we paid over $5000 to install. No solution no response. Do not buy!
Our LG air conditioner keeps DINGING – Had this unit installed last weekend (November, 2024) and everything working OK. There are however 2 features that need to be addressed. writing on the buttons. THEN When you do make an adjustment the unit puts out a very loud DING. Every time you touch a button on the remote, DING, and you cannot turn it off. At night it is sooo loud. LG said it was a safety issue, I replied then why not have a small light to show that the air con unit has received the input, OR, have a choice, DING or Blink. Them if the blinking is too bright at least at night you can put tape over it. Thought everyone should know or be aware, check ALL the features before buying.
After sales service is terrible. Warranty is worthless – My LG aircon has not worked properly since installation. In cooling mode I set it to 30degreesC and it keeps getting colder and colder. Usually gets down to 23 room temp before it stops and I need to keep turning it off ands on so I don't get cold. and if it was just in need of a service or air filter or whatever..ie anything they deem not a manufacturing fault..I was up for 380.00 (plus cost of fixing it) .... hence I have been putting up with this crap situation ever since. If any of my white goods end their lives I will never touch another LG product as they just make it too difficult/impossible to have things fixed under warranty

Defective System - LG Asking For $308 To Come Check It – I usually don't leave negative reviews, but at this price and level of service, I have felt I had too. (SK Air) and have sent them videos of the fault. LG blame the problem on the installer, but I have already had the installer back who have said it's a defective unit. Now LG and the Service Center say that they will only come out and look at it if I pay $308 for them to check their faulty unit.
I had doubts about buying LG because I have two other Mitsubishi units installed in my home that have never had any issues. But I thought I would take a chance. I will never buy LG again and would warn others against buying LG because if something does go wrong, LG will not take responsibility for it.
Good unit, little noisy – Unit in master bedroom. It's not the most quiet and when it is switched an almost gas release like sound is audible. WiFi is a pain and just the remote now. Not sure if it's the unit or the install but there is certainly a vibration of sorts when the unit is running. I have 3 different brands in my house and this is the least preferred one. Show details

Do not buy lg air-conditioning units – the Unit it self did preform very well but it worked.. how ever the problem its self is with lg itself they would not offer warranty event know the unit is not even 1 year old. had a air-conditioning specialist out and said that the inside unit core is leaking. wrong. so they have left me no choose to put bad reviews up over their products so any review sites I will be placing my feed on their units... also the lg fridge that stuffed out 1 week after warranty.... DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAND CLEAR OF LG... trust me speaking from experience
Works perfectly and quietly – After it was professionally installed the set-up is so simple. connecting Wifi is a little tricky but once connected it works with Google Home smart devices and has its own hany app that lets you control the aircon from anywhere and provies a display showing the rooms temp and power consumption. was delighted about the 10 year warranty.
