Looks amazing – UPDATED: We have had this fridge for just over 5 years now with no issues, in addition to my initial review I should mention it is important to rinse the mesh condenser coil filter which is located by removing the bottom grill, it's a hassle yet important to undertake. The fridge LED panel will show a red fan symbol to indicate when this is required (around 3 times per year) the panel must be manually reset to extinguish the warning light once filter has been cleaned. The ice bucket takes up a lot of room in the top freezer draw, it can be removed to allow extra room and the ice feature may be turned off. The genuine water filters are around $100 each and are supposed to be replaced every 6 months, we use them for 12 months as we do not go through very much ice. Also in my opinion it is not an appliance to be moved once installed, sell your property with the appliance as much as you won't want to.

This is one of the tallest if not the tallest stand alone fridge/freezers available in Australia. It looks great and that is primarily what I was after along with capacity and German build. The price is somewhat outrageous and I continue to wonder what on earth possessed me to spend that much. My only disappointment with this appliance is the fact the doors are not soft closing. You are often required to use extra effort to close the last remaining open door otherwise the door alarm will ensure your attention to close that last fraction, which may often induce profanity. I have checked with the Australian distributor and this is indeed standard on this model. I really should have taken a look at one in a store prior to ordering, regardless I still may well have made the purchase. Confident it is a quality appliance and should last many years with due care.
