battery was installed on 28th October 2025, took us whole day without power in the house due to installation, when battery was installed, it was not reading and not functioning , it turn out there was faulty parts ( smart mater) leaving installation incomplete, it’s was ordered and delivered on the 4th November 2025, from there I have been waiting for LECA to come back to complete installation but it’s became difficult, when I call LECA sometime they don’t answer their phone but replaying with texts messages lying and not promises to get done whenever I managed to get them but never show up, LECA is abide by consumer laws and regulations but they have failed their responsibility uphold, I have fully paid for the battery $8,134 of my pocket and Solar Victoria rebates which they will claim, I’m very disappointed, unhappy to waste so much money on a battery that is not beneficial to my home, I’m still paying full electricity while my aim was to cut down on electricity bills. LECA is leaving me no option but to seek my money refund and LECA can collect their battery. I have young family and LECA cheat me. How is it so difficult to get installation completed. PLEASE IF YOU WANT PRODUCTS/SERVICE GO ELSEWHERE, DON’T GO WITH LECA AGAIN.

Damaged property/not working – Please do not use this company. Sales rep turned up to our house spent about 2 hours grinding out the details and what would work best for us. panels in easiest spot for them not what works best. Same with the inverter, they just put it where it would be easy to fit, did not follow the quote that we spent 2 hours getting right. On top of that they also drilled through the ceiling 14 times in 2 different rooms and were blissfully unaware of the mistake. They then burnt holes in in a $2000 sofa when trying to “fix” their poor workmanship. They then threatened to send debt collectors as I wasn’t going to pay for the work in full. We are 3 months down the line they offered me $200 which barely buys the paint to fix the holes in the ceiling let alone replace our brand new sofa. We are still not connected to the grid because they can’t seem to send the correct form to the energy company. And the app that they talk so highly about doesn’t work. I urge you to use another company and not make the same mistake we did

Good support from staff – Had nothing but good repor with technical staff. However the installation team didn't seal the holes they drilled into the roof of the shed, so there was some water damage. The installation process was very easy, they were able to come in and get it done in no time.

Beware of doorknockers – Two young girls representing LEC Australia just knocked on my door trying to sell me solar panels. I had to ask what company they represented and had never heard of them. reviews. Based on what most people are saying, I made the right decision and have dodged a bullet. I will stick to my policy of politely closing the door in the face of door to door sales people.

Think again before choosing this company! – Installation date is always re-scheduled and none let you know after waiting for a long day and until you contacted them. Three times have been re-scheduled, just for installation. They are un-professional in customer service.

Solar nightmare – The company customer service and payments are super dodgy. Made a booking for appointment on three occasions, and finally when the person showed up started explaining terms and payment options totally different from what was discussed over the phone with the office. Tried calling the office the next day to verify and the representative was extremely rude! Dodged a bullet not dealing with them!!

slipped in quote. I was also promised 10/10/10/25 year warranty but this was missing from quote/Contract and had 5 years instead. Lesson learnt. Get at least 4 CEC accredited quotes and don't rush ( was able to reduce LECA original price by more than 25%) Make sure anything promised is clearly written and with model numbers

This company will misinform you in order to get a sale!!!! – They appear to be well and good and having your best interests, but really this company is terrible. They knocked on our door to sell solar panels and we organised a meeting. We ended up getting solar panels installed and we told we needed to apply for the rebate AFTER installing them. Victoria (Victorian Government) which is not dated and our address is spelt wrong on the majority of the documents. I called up Solar Victoria to see if this is an issue, which is most certainly is, plus they told us that LECA has misinformed us and we need to apply for the rebate BEFORE installing the solar panels. We are now in the situation where we may not get the rebate, yet one of the reasons why we installed them was to get the rebate - which we were told by LECA we would get. Please shop around and look at better companies. We have also found out that our solar panels are more expensive than most other ones. We have seriously been ripped off and misinformed.

Absolutely terrible – Extremely disappointed with this company, they have supplied and installed solar panels nearly 6 months ago but the panels haven't been connected to anything - this is an absolute joke.
