We highly recommend Lindon Homes – We had a fantastic experience building our new home in Norman Park with Lindon Homes. We demolished our house of 10 years situated on a 10 metre wide block. We love the final product which is custom made to suit our block and lifestyle. Dealing with Lindon Homes has been stress free, including managing the budget. We highly recommend them.

Great builder, hassle free – We built our family home with Lindon Homes. We demolished an existing house and rebuilt on a small lot in Brighton. Many friends said that building a new house was the most stressful time of their lives. The opposite was true for us. From meeting with Trent Lindon the salesman and Ashley and Lynn the company owners to dealing with the office for selections and progress reports and the on-site supervisor, the whole build/design process was a fantastic experience. They have assembled an amazing group of trades that went over and above. Very happy with the end quality.

When we were looking for a quality, custom builder to build our home Lindon Homes was an easy choice for us – The process from start to finish was very smooth and hassle free. We were guided through the building process and all our questions along the way were answered promptly by Ashley and the Lindon Homes Team.

Major roof repair needed to our home in less than 6 years! – In less than 6 years, the tiles on the roof on our large Ormiston home had started to slide, allowing water to penetrate. In multiple places across the large roof, the ridge capping was slipping, the mortar clearly collapsing and tiles cracking because they were no longer secure, sliding downwards. I sent photos to Ashley Lindon Homes and the reply I received was that this was 'storm damage'. This is arrant nonsense and anyone, with or without a background in construction could see this.
I had another builder look at it and he advised that I speak to a roof restoration contractor as there were major problems he could not repair himself. Almost $20,000 later, the roof has been repaired and is now secure. In parts, the battons to which the tiles are secured did not extend the full length, worsening the instability created by the slippage of the ridge-capping.
Ashley Lindon Homes did not so much as offer to inspect the roof (I suspect in full knowledge that there was a major issue for which they are responsible). Instead of feeling that my concerns were being treated seriously, I felt a distinct attitude of dismissiveness and arrogance.
Never again, Ashley Lindon Homes.

I regret & apologise that in the first instance my staff member did not address your concern with a helpful attitude immediately. I, unfortunately, only learnt of your maintenance issue through this review several months after your contact with my staff member. I have built my business by always endeavouring to help, fix or repair any problems that may occur during the building process or after regardless of time periods. We try to instil the same caring mentality with all of our staff.
It was a shock to hear of your plight this way and I would like to advise that the staff member concerned was reprimanded over the incident & he voluntarily left our company two days later.
This is an unfortunate circumstance when it was something that I could have so easily responded to, inspected myself & repaired the damage had I known. I ask yourself or any of my clients if you are not satisfied by my staff to please ask for me.
Sincerely Ashley Lindon
