Lipton Chai Latte

Completely different to the old Classic Chai Latte from before the reintroduction. Tastes artificial which I suspect it is. No mention of cinnamon or other spices. We will not be buying this again and would not recommend it. Show details

flavourless. I wouldn't have even known I was drinking it if it hadn't been fizzing at me like an excited Alka-Seltzer. Really, I've eaten wax fruit with more personality than this drink. If you're looking for a drink that embodies the definition of anti-climax I highly recommend this drink - you WILL be disappointed.

Great product – I have missed my daily cup of Liptons spiced chai latte. They have not been on the shelves for quite some time now and looks like they have been discontinued. They were more expensive than other brands but were the best tasting ones. Show details

A great product. Pity I can't find it anywhere any more! – I too am missing my favourite morning drink, Liptons chai latte classic. Over the last 6 months I've occasionally found some in IGAs and once I found 4 boxes and bought them all! But I suspect these were old stock as they haven't been restocked. I used to love the old Lipton's Chai so much that I would sell my body for a single sachet when it got scarce. This is the new 'Spicy' version, and Wow! but it's vile. it as a drink. It starts off when you add water and it fizzes like a soda and foams like a science experiment. Nothing natural or holy ever behaved like that. It's called spicy but it's spicy in the same way that kerosene is spicy. Sure, it'll turn your tongue inside out but not in an exciting, flavoursome kind of way, more in an industrial cleaning product in a mug kind of way. But never mind, because Lipton's has added so much sugar to this product that any actual flavours, natural or artificial, are completely undetectable over the sensation of a product so over-sweetened that it's drilling holes in your teeth as you drink it. I had to rinse my mouth with Draino afterwards just to remove the aftertaste. Share and enjoy!

Not latte, not chai. Just a waste of money – I brought this today, instead of my usual brand. What a mistake!! It just tastes like watered down normal tea, and absolutely no froth whatsoever. This is definitely NOT chai latte. Will never waste my money on this again!! Show details

Devistated – I have tried endlessly to purchase the chai latte classic. Why isn't Lipton listening to all of their customers who have phone ,emailed and reviewed about the discontinuation of this product. How many people are now not experiencing that daily piece of joy in their lives now. I don't drink coffee, and this is all I have been drinking for years. PLEASE BRING IT BACK DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND.

Definitely will find it difficult to live without yet again – Love Lipton's Chai Latte Regular and Vanilla. I am very sorry to see it no longer on the shelves. I would have bought more up quickly if I had known. Its competitor is horrible, and I won't be buying that again after buying it last time Lipton's disappeared off the shelves - I ended up throwing it out. Chai Latte Classic – I would really like to know where Lipton Chai Latte has gone. I only drink Tea and love the fact that I had a selection of teas. To find something besides black tea and the fragrant ones. I have tried numerous Chai Latte’s and by far Lipton Chai Classic is the best on the market. Yuk it’s awful – I used to love Lipton chai latte, I couldn’t get it for a while, so changed to Tetley. I bought Lipton’s again the other day the spiced one, and it actually made me feel sick. Nearly threw up. Tastes awful and will never get again. Show details

New Lipton Chai Latte – Bought some from Coles for me and my Mum, new taste is not good. I Still have some of the old sachets and the taste is much creamier then the new one. What a disappointment.

new recipe not as nice as original – I hope the suppliers will be working to revert to the original recipe, new taste is not as nice , watery , sweet and does not have the rich depth of spices & tea that made me love the original flavour.

ugh, it's terrible!!! – This new "look" latte is terrible, it's so watery and doesn't froth up when you stir it. I won't be buying it anymore.
