Its not our fault!
Booked a V8 race buggy experience ( Don't bother ) which was very disappointing to be kind. Very misleading description and they had no interest in resolving my dispute trying to pass it on to the operator. Fair enough you might think but the fact is I booked and paid for it through their site based on the description provided on their site.
Misleading voucher details - the price went up!
I booked a gift for my husband and on main part of the voucher was the voucher number, what the experience was and the expiry date (in large font at the top). Below this was how to book a date - visit the website. As the expiry date was 3 years (which seemed excessively long) we took our time to book in. Only to discover upon attempting to book using our voucher that it was for the monetary amount we paid and not the actual experience, which had now gone up in price?!! I called customer service as I couldn't work out what was going on and got a...very unsatisfactory response from a young woman, who kept stating 'it is in the fine print' over and over. Apparently, after 12 months the price can change. I tried to explain that if the 'expiry date' information not been so prominent, or if it was made clearer on the voucher that I was no longer entitled to the experience I had purchased after 12 months, and instead had a monetary amount to use, I would have booked earlier...again the response was 'it is in the fine print'....no understanding at all that good service is not received by over promising and underdelivering....

Pricing error wont honour their mistake - Misleading company.
Made a booking for one of their experiences for friends, paid and received booking confirmation. After 2 days, I got an SMS that my booking has been cancelled, no explanation. Called them just now and they are claiming human error on the pricing.
Embarrassed in front of friends.
Hate companies who wont honor their mistakes
Purchased a $250 gift voucher and due to certain events had to put off using it. Checked adrenaline’s website to see how long it was valid for, said 3 years - plain and simple. Rang them when we couldn’t redeem our voucher, they were very unhelpful, and just said that if you scroll through their terms and conditions on their website, it tells you the correct time period. Why put a validity time on your website when it’s not correct for everyone? Very unhappy.
We had a 250 voucher which we tried to book an activity on a sunday - Adrenalines website wasnt working and gave us wrong times as well as not accepting vouchers as payment - we had to then go through the organiser so 250 out of pocket again. I text their helpline number as advised to on the website (twice
) to no avail - when we called - there was nothing they would do to help! Wont be using adrenaline again and ill be advising others how unflexible they are
An investment in my grandchildren.
So far, I have given as a 16th birthday gift to 3 of my grandchildren (2 more to come), a voucher for a defensive driving course. Each one has really enjoyed the experience and hopefully it will provide them with the knowledge for a lifetime of safe driving.
Voucher policy needs work
I had some vouchers transferred to me that had an expiry date. I wasn't given any email warning that this date was approaching and when I went to redeem the vouchers I was told one was gone forever and the other two I would have to pay $30 to re activate. It wouldn't hurt them to have a better policy on vouchers. I won't be using them again. Thumbs down.
Sydney Harbour Twilight dinner cruise. Do not do this
We Recently did this cruise... Absolutely pathetic!!! The ship was filthy, food absolutely disgusting and slopped onto a paper plate, no lighting (or very minimal) on board which was boarder line dangerous. How this is rated adrenaline.com’s best seller is beyond me. Save your money!!
My fiance loved his present
I had no idea what to buy my fiance for his birthday, but then I remembered him saying to his mates how good it would be to drive a V8 around a racetrack...I looked this up on the net and Adrenaline had awesome choices for exactly what I wanted. The voucher for his V8 experience arrived in the post within 2 days, very well-presented, and my fiance was stoked when i gave it to him. He can't wait to fulfill one of his dreams. Thanks Adrenaline!
Come here, Come here, Go away Go away
I was given a $100 Adrenaline Gift Card for Christmas. I've been looking at a couple of experiences over the last couple of months and then this weekend Adrenaline had a promo $40 off for bookings $199 or more. So I picked the $199 experience I'd been thinking of, got all way through to the payment screen, and as soon as I tried to pay the first $100 using the gift card the $40 promo was removed. Turns out you can't use discount codes when paying via Gift Card even though I was going to pay the $60 balance via credit card. Well, firstly -your ...loss Adrenaline because I'll pick a cheaper experience now - that the giftcard fully covers and secondly - I'll warn others not to buy your gift cards because they would be better off just waiting for a special promo code or dealing directly with the experience provider. I see someone else in product review complaining about gift card expiry so this is just another reason to avoid Adrenaline Gift cards.
Adrenalin is a middle man organisation. They don’t provide the experience they promote it. Disappointed with the gift card expiry. I spend thousands a year on experiences as gifts and last year I got staff gift cards. They shouldn’t expire. However I was informed by Adrenalin they do and now have scored $1000.00 out of me for nothing. Nice cash grab! Going elsewhere this year.
