Seniors Discount Club

Scam site to mine data for advertising. Incudes and tries to pass off information and discounts from Seniors Card programs around Australia, as if it is their own data and brand. Misleading and out of date...stop preying on vulnerable people!

Seniors Discount Club promoted a scheme with Amplifon Hearing Centre where if a senior had a full hearing test before the end of April 2026 they would get a $50 Visa gift card. I mentioned this when I booked the hearing test and when I had the full hearing test on 14th April 2026. They told me they would send the Visa gift card. I am still waiting… Read more

after more than 6 weeks. I have phoned Amplifon several times and they keep saying I will receive the gift card soon. I believe this is a scam. Also the price Amplifon quoted for hearing aids was three times a price my friend paid for the same brand and features and excellent audiologist elsewhere in Melbourne. I don't trust Seniors Discount Club after this. I have not found many of the articles in the magazine to be helpful or relevant to me either.

Fails to reply to emails when you have a problem with membership. Have submitted several emails with no reply and they have debited my account after my membership was cancelled. No explanation!

I give them their due they have refunded my $49 for a subscription I didn't want to renew .But I still don't think it is worth $49 a year unless you like mundane stories ,[Content Removed] riddles , [Content Removed] comments ect, and adverts and products for the under 40s not the over 60s

I enjoy and look forward the news every Sunday morning over breakfast. Makes my day and with all that’s happening in the land it’s good to get the news first. Awesome thank you as you make every folk feel like family. Show 2 replies

Finding and joining SDC has enriched my life in many ways. I can read reliable content, find many discounts,accurate reporting, I love playing trivia and members jokes never fail to bring me cheer. It is great for seniors to help keep up with the latest news that are of interest to us without buying a newspaper daily. It goes straight to anything that directly relates as well as giving a couple of chuckles and the recipes are a happy change to our wondering what to eat for a change. it so much and personally I was so behind in the news of the day that I was used to that a big chunk of my day was missing empty. I have tried to pay to join and somehow I haven’t managed it so if I could ring and join over the phone as though I was buying an item I would be very happy and not receiving all the adds would be a bonus. So many things to do at SDC ! Games, competitions, news stories, recipes just to name a few, but best of all Loads of senior members to get to know and chat to. I know some people complain that an article is repeated, but new people join every day. I enjoy reading the articles, and if been on before just carry on to the next. Plenty of information what affects us seniors, articles that give us a laugh or are serious. Keep up the great work. Show reply

I catch with whats going on through this website. I need to travel between between Victoria & NSW every couple of months. I am now finding it hard to switch between states, where once I was able to do this easily. I check out the weather, fuel costs and specials in supermarkets through this site.
