why he is ignoring my calls, he said - 'what are you talking about? I have spoken to you 3 times since morning, stop calling me', when we only spoke once. He was completely inconsiderate and rude to me. When I asked about the plan, he asked me to just wait or relax in McD or do whatever I want. I told him 'I have a kid and I just wanted to reach our house before it's dark' and he put me on hold. We have family to take care of; we can't relax without a plan in sight. The removalists finally came at 3:30; they were coming after finishing another big job which was supposed to be our slot. They were very nice, polite and efficient. However, they were not given enough materials. They were reluctant to use shrink wraps saying they are expensive and mostly avoided using them. Also [Name Removed] mentioned there is no hidden charge, but I had to pay 100 at source (ground floor) and 80 for destination (for 1st floor), while I clearly mentioned this while booking. We had a very late night as the job finished at 8:30. It's a huge inconvenience with a small child, who was hungry and tired and had no bed to sleep on.

If you are a family and want certain peace of mind please avoid this service.

This is terrible! – The driver "[Name Removed]" was assigned to my job, and it was proven to be a very bad service. - The driver sent me a message after midnight on Friday (Saturday morning 0:37 am) to tell me that he will arrive between 12-2pm on Saturday, instead of between 9-10am as scheduled. day plan to suit this change. - The driver did not turn up until after 2:45pm and finished the job just before 6pm. But he insisted to charge me from 2:30 - 6pm for the duration of the job. - He had a bandage on one of his feet and walked slowly - definitely not fitted for doing the removalist job at the time! And he was constantly on his mobile texting messages or doing something instead of moving furniture. It further slowed down the job! - When I was making the payment, I calculated the money figure incorrectly, being $60.00 too much. But he did not correct me and took the payment - not an honest man at all! (They have refunded this overcharged money after my persistent demanding). - Not to mention some damages to the furniture due to lack of care during the move!

An excellent service – This job of moving a bed interstate was organised with professionalism from start to finish. From booking, to pickup in the evening in Sydney, and delivery next morning in Melbourne, the staff were timely, efficient and caring with the delivery.

Steve and Ali very good Removalists! – Steve and Ali moved the contents of my large storage unit in Brisbane! Some furniture was delivered to a remote property in Northern NSW and some to a new studio apartment in Sydney. Items were carefully organised into destination then packed, moved and delivered. Steve and Ali were skillful at the job and always calm, helpful and respectful. Thank you also to Andrew in the office who was knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

professionalism is second to none. My husband managed the move in NSW with Sam and his team and I received it in QLD on the other end. Sam made me feel super comfortable being alone and everything got unpacked and arranged where I needed it to be. I could not recommend these guys any higher. Truely terrible service – We paid for 3 removalist and only got 2 so my husband and I had to help on either end of the move to help them. The removalist smashed our tv and dented our fridge. experience with them moving a 2br apartment from VIC back to NSW in September, 2022, though I will say that they were still cheaper than their competitors. I will not go into all of the details, I will simply provide a list of the ways in which I would engage this service, if I were to ever use them again:

1. Timing - I would be exceptionally persistent in finding out the planned schedule for moving on the day. I would also allocate two full days for the move (interstate) and not attempt to work within any schedule restrictions. As for timing specifics, I did not hear from anyone from the business until 12pm on the day of the move. Removalists arrived for pickup of my belongings later that day at 6.50pm. 2. Communication - I would ask for contact details of the movers before the day of the move. I would over-communicate and ask for very specific deadlines to be outlined. For example, I received a call at 6.15am that the removalists were out the front of my house. I was not told by anyone to expect movers to arrive at this extremely early time. 3. Clarity of quote - I would ask for greater details to better understand how quotes are calculated. I would even possibly bring measuring tape, myself, and time the duration of the packing onto and off of the truck. It appears as though there are multiple factors, based on the conversations and materials that I had and received: 1) Square meterage, 2) time taken, 3) number of items, 4) distance walked (additional fee).

I have provided as many details as I could without going down the rabbit hole of my experience with Local and Interstate Removals. As I mentioned, this most recent experience was extremely stressful and troubling, while the first experience was very positive.

lady suggested me to change my flight (who is going to pay for the $1000 rebooking fee one-way?) or to find another company that could help me on the very next day. She said she could pay me back the deposit if I found another company. They SHOULD pay me compensation, not just my deposit! Would the customers forfeit the deposit if it's the customers changing the date? How come they don't have any responsibility or consequence when it's them changing the date? This has totally upset customers' planning - what if the customers need to vacate the rental property? or a tenant is moving in ? I had to ask an elderly friend to help me open my door for them at the end. Even so, I had to change my work schedule in order to be able to stand-by on the phone for any enquiries they might have on the day of move. When the removalists came, they immediately said that they wouldn't move a box that's not taped (I ran out of tapes at the end of my packing and there's only 1 box that's untaped.) They pretended that they did not have tapes with them. Fine! I told my friends to leave the box behind. They also said they could not move my bed without dissembling it. But my bed is a VERY SIMPLE double bed with just the board and 4 legs, definitely not those bulky/heavy ones. they haven't even tried before saying that they could not move it. There was a wardrobe that needs to dissemble into 3 parts (not completely dissembled) with a screwdriver. They said they did not have a screwdriver with them! I have never heard of any removalists that don't have tapes or screwdrivers with them at work!! I think they were only trying to find excuses to move fewer items even though the items were in the quotation. When they arrived Melbourne, two pieces of my furniture were damaged and one was total lost. No compensation received. They said they were already broken in Sydney-- why would I be paying them to move broken furniture all the way to Melbourne? They were all good before they touched them. They moved one bookshelf (IKEA Billy that's not heavy) by dragging it vertically through the door and ended up scratching the top of the door frame. They told me that they COULD NOT get it in because it's too tall! Did they even know that they just have to tilt it a bit to get through the door? They actually asked me to help out in the move because they had another job to run to. Beware that I am a woman and I paid for them to do the move. It's not my problem if the company arranged a tight schedule for them. But seeing how unprofessional and slow they were with the move, I ended up running back and forth to the truck to get my stuff because I was really worried that they would cause further damage to my items or the rental property. Overall, the whole experience with this company was HORRIBLE and I regret so much to have picked this company.

They handles our belongings with care – 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. Interstate from NSW to QLD. Had to postpone the move due to floods but all went well in the end and they guys were efficient.

So impressed with Sam and Danny! 10/10 – Sam and Danny were AMAZING. Super friendly, efficient, everything was kept in perfect condition and they took extra consideration with my fragile items. Sl impressed!! Communicated in a timely way and picked up and dropped off reliably! Great value for money and would use them again!

The worst service ever! Blackmailed and Abused – Where do I start with these guys! Initially quoted $1320, then increased to over $2000. Upon collecting our stuff, they left half of it behind. When my partner enquired why they verbally abused her. We purchased 17 cubic metres, they took 8 cubic metres. It took them over 40 hours to drop our stuff off, of which was damaged. When I discussed that I was not happy with the price and service. I was verbally threatened, I was, I suppose blackmailed to "pay the amount or we'll take all your stuff". I contacted their operations manager who politely told me to [Word Removed].

Honestly, I wouldnt recommend these cowboys to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Thorough, Efficient and Polite – I moved interstate from Sydney to Queensland. My piano was included in the move. Leo and his team were very professional and hardworking. They got the job done quickly and all of my things were in tact and nothing was damaged during the move. They called me in the morning to give me an ETA. The price was also reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

OUTSTANDING: Made the move interstate so much easier – I moved a 2 bedroom unit from Sydney to the Gold Coast and not only were they affordable, the service from booking to end was exceptional and professional. Excellent service – I Bedroom Unit moved to Port Macquarie on time very polite and were very careful with my furniture. They packed the truck very well and drove straight to Port Macquarie. Unloaded the truck and had a difficult staircase to Navigate but did it safely and carefully. I am very very happy would recommend them to anyone. If I move in the future I will definitely use them again. Absolutely best.

argument they told me they will come on 10am to 1pm next day. Guess what, they came at 1230 and finished packing up at 3:!5, leaving me no time make a 7 hr drive, so I had to pay for an overnight stay. During packing I told the guys about fragile things, but it was as if they didnt care. In addition, they told me that I need to pay more as my stuff is more than they expected. At each and every time during this whole move, they failed and really made me stressful. I seriously doubt their google ratings as fake, as I paid half the amount for double the stuff 2 years back using backload and was done with a lot more care and understanding for us. Would highly discourage anyone thinking to use them.

Move from Manly, NSW to Tallai, QLD – I was so stressed before the move but it was a very smooth move. The movers Martin and Sabbar were outstanding. They worked so hard to get all of my boxes and furniture in the truck, packed it very well in 40 degrees with nil complaints. I had lived in the same 4 bedroom house for 17 years so had a huge amount of freight. Andrew in the office was also brilliant. Thank you all so much for making the move less stressful and smooth.

Quiet achievers, well organised and professional service – On time, professional, experienced and did an amazing job of packing the truck. Quiet achievers and just nice people. Worked well, spoke with manners even in the terrible heat. They did not waste time and got the job done efficiently.

Do not trust this company!!!! – They left my packages on the side of the road when I gave specific instructions to put on my front porch and I left the gate open... some got stolen and I still haven’t got any calls or money back. Don’t trust this company. I never write reviews and hate complaining but this is something that is worth writing a review about!

Highly recommend Sam and Ali – Sam and Ali did a great job. I moved across Sydney and the final address had steep stairs. They were fast and efficient. Although they arrived later than the time given, they more than made up for this with their wonderful service. Highly recommend
