property was being sold through another agency – nothing from Longview, just a Notice to Vacate via email days later.

The exit report included minor issues like hair on the bathroom floor and dust on the wardrobe shelves as well as an accusation that carpets had not been professionally cleaned (we had proof they were). We made efforts to resolve all of the issues in the report (except the carpets) but the property manager kept escalating the demands and the costs. We said we would go and resolve the issues ourselves, but the property manager became unresponsive and ceased all communication. After six weeks of back and forth, we successfully claimed our full bond back from the RTBA. Completely uncooperative and unprofessional conduct from Longview.

As long as I have known Lisa Butcher she has always provided exceptional service in her field, super friendly and knowledgeable, she is amazing at what she does.

If you're a landlord, avoid them because they are doing your ability to find good tenants harm. If you're a tenant, avoid because they will treat you like dirt especially if you're a migrant.

Seven years of renting in Melbourne, and this agency takes the cake for the absolute worst. They're nothing short of a racket for renters – so beware! permeated every inch, and the carpets were soiled beyond belief. Their response? Claiming it was "reasonably clean" in their laughable condition report. Requests for a reinspection were met with outright refusal, citing the owner's delicate sensibilities. We were left to foot the bill for professional cleaning, with no reimbursement in sight.

As if that weren't enough, the place was a breeding ground for mold and dust, triggering asthma attacks within weeks. Their dismissive attitude, suggesting I was somehow at fault for not being immune to allergies, is beyond infuriating. Even with evidence from the cleaner confirming the deplorable state of the property, they refused to acknowledge their negligence.

Enough was enough – my health and sanity couldn't withstand another day under their neglectful watch. Moving out was the only option. Longview's utter disregard for basic decency and human well-being is unforgivable. Steer clear unless you enjoy risking your mental and physical health dealing with their incompetence.

painting walls, $680 letting fee and 2 weeks of rent($1250) after exiting the apartment until the new tenants arrive and yet she was determined to punish us and renovate the apartment on our own expense. She is holding $1600 of our bond claiming that cleaning was not enough even though I reviewed cleaning myself thoroughly.

She organised a $250 acid cleaning for all floors even though we have previously shared that these floors were not clean in our entry report with pictures and the agent [Name Removed] advised that they will organise acid cleaning for us but they never did.

She refused to share invoices with us. She lied to the RTA representative about sharing water invoice with us which she never did.

We have filed a tribunal case against them which will be heard in the next few weeks.

New rental – As the owners of a rental we have so far the two lady’s that we have dealt with at Longview have been very helpful in getting things sorted for us and getting a tenant in asap. You can only go by the experience and so far it has been real good

The worst residential tenancy management agency I have ever come across – As a tenant, call go unanswered, emails not responded to, contact details are not updated by the agency and their main contact name is that of someone who has left the agency. Very unprofessional and not nice to deal with.

we've had over the past year I haven't been able to stay there for the past month. But Gill at Longview has done everything she can to ensure the process goes smoothly.

Between my amazing landlord who honestly goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect, and the staff at Longview; even though the place is tiny, and for the past 8 weeks or so the only bedroom has been uninhabitable.. I never want to leave!

Landlord – I found this agency to be average. They lost my first case with vcat (basically unprepared as i supplied most of the info). They were reluctant second time around to go to vcat regarding same tenant. Out of pocket approx +_$1200 and another repair to be completed later on (+_$2000). High turnover of staff. Greedy and Useless – Agents are nice but won't actually do anything. Will claim everything they can as compensation at the end of a lease. Don't care about their tenants at all. Would not recommend. Go somewhere else.

Unprofessional and annoying – Applied for a property through this company. They had called all my contacts listed in the application such as emergency contacts (not referees) for references and were rude to them.

Does not support tenants at all – I wish it was possible to give minus zero stars! They were dodgy and extremely unprofessional when we tried to sort out our bond payment. They made us pay for existing mould. Samantha has the worst communication skills. Stay away!

Amazing Property Managers – I tenanted a property managed by Cassandra at LongView Real Estate and she was such a pleasure to deal with and any maintenance issues were sorted out so quickly! I would recommend LongView for anyone looking to either rent a property or for landlords looking for professional property managers to handle their leasing.

Best rental agents – My husband and I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of Jenna Hilton and the team at LongView. They have extremely helpful and respectful when replying to our requests regarding the property we are renting. Every issue has been handled promptly and with minor inconveniences.
