The worst Mattress ever – I purchased the Madison Waldof Plush and I’ve had the mattress for 5 months, because I suffer from fibromyalgia and I need a mattress that would provide support to my body but be soft enough to relief my pressure points. When I first received the Mattress and slept on it it was amazing just what’s I needed, it didn’t even hurt my pressure points… Read more

even through the break in period , but for the last month I have been waking after a few hours with excruciating pain in my back to the point that I struggle to even walk when I get up! I know it’s the mattress causing the pain, because I changed it out with my spare bed mattress for the last week and no pain in my back at all! I’ve had someone come and inspect the mattress and they have said there’s nothing wrong with it, advised I adjust my position of laying and be more in a xero gravity (I have an adjustable base), if I have any incline on the bed at all the pain is alot worse, but even laying completely flat causes extreme pain as well. Avoid this extremely expensive mattress at all costs

Mattress overheats and is too soft – We noticed once we got into the first summer months after buying the Waldorf mattress it caused us both to overheat which I think is to do with whatever the built-in topper with "memory foam" is made of. It's actually almost unbearable to sleep on some of the time due to the heat the topper creates. It has also, after two years, become far too soft. The mattress cost a fortune. I absolutely do NOT recommend this product. Show details

Happy – I have had this mattress for three years and have been pleased with it's comfort, I feel the heat and this mattress hasn't been a problem where the Tempur was too hot for me. Show details

Awesome to sleep on, it changed my life – The mattress had a positive effect on my chronic pain and changed the way I slept. My quality of sleep is far better than what it was, though I may mention it took me approx 3 months to get use to it due to my personal back injury’s. I look after it and rotate it when I can. It becomes a little bit softer over time but that’s expected and it’s now… Read more

3 years old, I wouldn’t sleep on anything else. It retains some heat but I’m always cold so I love that about the mattress, it is suitable for my needs, and happy with the quality. It was worth spending the money. I have a matching supportive base too! So I’m not feeling any dipping from an unsupportive foundation like my last mattress.

Really good except one problem – We've had ours now for 5 years. It is perfect in every way except I find it retains heat and I for me it is terrible in summer but good in winter! I have a medical condition and my temperature fluctuates so I guess I can't blame the bed though I think memory foam might be a problem for me. Still as good as new. We have looked after it. Great – at first – We have had this mattress for 8 years. For the first couple of years it was great - plush top but supportive in all the right places, comfy to sleep on and a nice, solid, luxe feel. Maybe a little warm sometimes, but we could live with that. After those first two years, despite a regular regime of monthly rotations and having it on a quality base,… Read more

we started to get some back and hip pain from sleeping on the mattress. Although it still had some support, it had softened considerably and was no longer giving us a restful night's sleep. In particular, we could really feel our hips sinking too far into the mattress when sleeping on our sides. Think of a giant marshmallow, but with a bit of spring - that's what the mattress began to feel like. For reference, my partner is around 80kg and I am 70kg, so not super heavy people. This thing had been a fairly large investment for us so we were reluctant to give up on it - let alone entertain the idea of starting a new mattress search. Taking a bit of a gamble, we invested in a latex mattress topper (just one from Clark Rubber). We figured there was a 33.3% chance that it would take the mallow out of our mattress - and it worked. Don't get me wrong, it didn't transform the mattress into a paragon of back and hip support, but it did give it an extra amount of firmness that enabled us to sleep on it for quite a number of years more. We weren't great at spending a lot of time in the middle of the mattress, which is what was recommended for us to do. As a result, the middle still feels perfect to sleep on. So cruel. Now the time has come to say good bye to Wally Waldorf. And his replacement will not be another Waldorf, though we haven't entirely dismissed the idea of looking at a different mattress from the Madison range (maybe we're just gluttons for punishment).

Extremely disappointed – We purchased this mattress in an attempt to alleviate back pain. Initially, we loved it. However, after only a couple of years the mattress is unusable and causes significant back and hip pain. It is substantially softer than when first purchased and sinks down around our hip area. Rotating the Mattress makes no difference as our hips are pretty… Read more

Don't waste your time, get a mattress from a vendor that allows you to return after a sleep test – Latest update after almost a year .... They might be polite but not helpful. Reach out to them after two months and it is still ongoing after almost a year, and they asked me to pay more to change the topper. No way to pay more for a faulty product. Below is one of the multiple emails that I have sent to them, and they refused to allow a return… Read more

and refund. If you are looking for a mattress, don't use them. The test in the showroom does not reflect the experience when I sleep at night. I have decided to go with mattresses that provide 100 nights of sleep and free returns with no problems. Very happy with Sleeping Duck, excellent service, and professional support at a cheaper price. The test they do is only a moment in time and they call it the "manufacturer's specs" but when you sleep on it for 8 hours the results would be different. They are polite but they don't really care if it is hurting you.

--- This mattress was selected after using the Snooze Profiler’s recommendation and it feels comfortable in the beginning. The mattress was delivered slightly more than two months ago, the mattress was comfortable for the first few weeks and after rotation but I started to get back tightness and backaches each morning.

It has gotten worse in the last month and I have attended physiotherapies to recover but I would get better in the day and then my backache would return in the morning. In the last few weeks, the mattress has been so uncomfortable that I would toss and turn through the night unable to find any comfortable position to relax.

I am less than 60 kg and am unpleasantly surprised that the mattress could not support my weight consistently to help me relax. I am really disappointed to have spent all my time and resources to have selected this mattress.

Therefore, I cannot imagine how Snooze can assist me other than returning this mattress and giving me a full refund. The response from Snooze is that it is still within the manufacturer's specs and they are not willing to accept a return. The test they do is only a moment in time and they call it the "manufacturer's specs" but when you sleep on it for 8 hours the results would be different. They are polite but they don't really care if it is hurting you.

Therefore, don't waste your time, get a mattress from a vendor that allows you to return after a sleep test, and there are so many out there. I will not be buying any more mattresses through shops that don't allow sleep tests. Showroom testing is not accurate or any so-called "profile test" does not guarantee it would suit you.

I am still waiting for my refund to test Sleeping Duck because they allow sleep tests, provide the options of different softness or firmness without additional cost and if it is still not comfortable, I can return.

Would not recommend – My boyfriend and I have had this mattress for nearly two years now and it has sagged substantially in the past 6 months despite us rotating it regularly I am around 55 kilos and my boyfriend is 70 kilos so we are not large people and I have never had issues with a mattress sagging before Starting to get hip pain and lower back pain It is super disappointing given how much we paid for the mattress Show details

JUNK ! – From the beginning it was obvious there was something wrong. Only good for the first year – I wish I had read all the other reviews before purchasing this very expensive mattress. It was perfect for the first year than started to sag and become uncomfortable. Love it! Can’t wait to go to bed every night! – 2 weeks in, and my husband and I are delighted with this mattress. We enjoyed a Sealy Super Plush for 8 years, and replaced it with this plush Madison Waldorf. So much less partner disturbance and we’re huge memory foam fans, so this bed is even better than our last. I was quite worried after reading so many of the poorer reviews, but we are so far very happy. We will rotate it as instructed to keep it in great shape? Love it! Show details

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH – BEWARE IF BUYING THIS MATTRESS!!! We are utterly disappointed with our Madison Waldorf mattress. Not what was expected – The key features that drew us to purchasing this bed was the expectation of minimal partner disturbance and comfort. While disturbance through actual movement is minimal, the top cushion layer creaks as you move and is particularly noticeable when getting in and out of the bed. The 'noise' is far from conducive to a restful sleep. The only… Read more

Sleeping on a cloud – This mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. We have had it for approximately 8 months now and my husband and I both love it. Disappointing – If you are considering buying this mattress make sure you read the reviews first. I wish we had. It would have saved us a lot of money. concern. Within 12 months it had to be returned to the factory where it was re-tensioned even though we were told there was nothing wrong with it. "Normal" was the term used. 12 months further down the track the depressions are back and it gives me lower back pain every night. I am 70 kgs and my wife is 54 kgs so not large people. I hate to think what the mattress would be like for a larger person. We have contacted the service department again only to be told once again that this is "normal". Well I'm sorry but I don't think lower back pain is normal. I have also contacted the store where we purchased the mattress and they didn't even have the decency to reply. Never again would I buy a pillow top mattress or shop at Snooze.

Pure bliss every night!! – Still madly in love with this mattress after four years, it’s so comfy, and so are the pillows! They threw in free memory foam pillows as part of the deal and thank god because they are soooo perfect for this mattress. I am a slim female with bony hips and this mattress supports me so well. I don’t think it would be suitable for a heavy person though.  Show details

move or bounce so I don't wake up. It's a heavy matress (we have a king) and its a bit heavy to turn , however it needs to be turned on a regular basis to you don't develop pockets in it. We haven't had any issues with a hump forming in the middle. One star down as it gets hot sometimes,we use breathable sheets and cooling matress protectors but it still retains heat .
