1 as could not select zero. Loved her show never again what a rip off rich lady anyway why do you do this. Water with no flavour. MASSIVE WASTE OF MONEY REALLY P*SSED OFF AS EXPENSIVE FOR WATER
Super disappointed. We made the rookie mistake of not tasting the sauce before pouring over the meal. The rich thick gravy finishing sauce is just gross, sweet - not all gravy like and ruined our roast chicken. Kinda taste like pumpkin soup - sorry Maggie, but I expected more from your products
We got a Xmas pack , the chocolate is poor quality l am so disappointed with the whole pack , l even put the past out with cheese , no one ate it .
The lady should be in prison the Burnt Toffee Popcorn Cocoa Dusted Cashews are the most addictive thing I have ever eaten love you Maggie
500ml Maggie Beer beef stock. Very disappointing. Ruined my slow cooked Scottish beef stew. Ruined the dinner party. Should have stayed with Campbell's Real Stock from the supermarket instead of believing Maggie Beer would be better quality.
DO NOT BUY THE MAGGIE BEAR THICK GRAVY. It has the most sickening taste and spoiled our entire meal. None of us could eat our meal, even though we tried to scrape off the gravy. It isn't even gravy - whatever it is is disgusting and should be removed off the supermarket shelves. DO NOT BUY IT. Show details
Very disappointed with the "chunky".....? Mushoom finishing sauce. Considering how expensive it is I was expecting something that resembled mushroom sauce and sadly this was not it. It wasn't even OK. I make a really good mushroom sauce but decided on the time saving sauce because I once tried the honey mustard finishing sauce redolent with… Read more
tarragon and it was very good. This mushroom finishing sauce was so odd tasting it ruined the lovely beef rump cap roast cooked to a perfect rare and which we had to scrape the sauce off and vow never to buy another Maggie Beer product again.
Paid for express shipping after having read everything possible on website re shipping. Was to be an Easter present full of Easter eggs and other goodies. All planned and committed! Did it come ? NO And did they try to make good? NO. The usual sickening empty platitudes - sorry - useful when you couldn’t care less and don’t intend to do anything.… Read more
They even advertise same day for Sydney and could have made good. But NO you can have it next week. Suspect they hadn’t even mailed it, as when I got off the phone checking where it was, I suddenly received an email saying it was 5 days away. A very bad look for Maggie Beer shop and the business integrity, dripping with niceness. But NOT service or responsibility.
just sensational customer service and quality of food. ordered several items including panforte - which was especially good. highly recommended
Gravy???? Don't be fooled – Thick and rich gravy tastes like boiled carrot water and baby food. Tried to fix it but wasted my time. Just awful. Worse than the cheapest packet gravy available, worse than a thickened stock cube stock. Just forget it. Show details
Disappointed – First of all delayed delivery of a hamper supposed to be delivered on the 14th Dec. Thankfully extra postage paid was refunded. Received a message to say it would be delivered on the 18th Dec. Found out this morning (24th Dec), that the courier has lost it and there are no more hampers in stock. Offered a full refund which is the least I would expect. Very disappointed. Won’t be using these hampers again.
Underwhelming, under flavoured and disappointing! – The Maggie Beer Australian Red Wine Finishing Sauce. Unfortunately this sauce is a disappointment. It’s underflavoured and noticeably sweet. I bought 2 packets and for the second packet I added red wine and reduced to intensify flavour, I finished it with butter to add shine and extra flavour.
Non alcoholic sparkling ruby cabernet – This is one of the worst non alcoholic wines that I've ever had the displeasure to try. I bought it for Christmas Day for me to enjoy as I was the designated driver. Oh my goodness. This is so sickly sweet, it was unpalatable. Two others also tried the wine and one comment was, "Oh my god why?" Don't waste your money on this product. Thank goodness I purchased it on special!

Not "Thick and Rich Gravy" Terrible taste – Bought Maggie Bears 'Thick and Rich Gravy' to put on our Christmas Lamb. What a Horrible Concoction.. Not Rich and has a strange sweetness that does not seem correct for a Gravy. Had to pour it down the sink.. Very Disappointed..
Disgusting – Worst gravy I’ve ever had, wouldn’t try it again if you payed me
Tasteless… – Thick and rich gravy was absolutely tasteless… so disappointing… but I must write a minimum of 10: words Show details
Maggie beer rich and thick gravy was way too sweet – Maggie beer thick gravy was absolutely terrible, it was sickly sweet, threw it out. Wasted my money. I'll go back to the much cheaper gravies. Show details
Rich & Thick Gravy Finishing Sauce is not good – I bough the Maggie Beer Rich & Thick Gravy Finishing Sauce and it was terrible. It was like someone added sugar instead of salt. It reminded me of sweet canned veggie soup. I feel like I threw $5 in the bin. I would give this 0 stars if I could.
Amazing! – I just can’t rave about this experience enough! It was absolutely brilliant! I booked this for my mum’s special 75th birthday (both of us are huge fans)… We got the whole package, and it was worth every penny! Jacob was an amazing host and demonstrator of Maggi’s recipes…. The food was spectacular! Thinking now that Maggi’s verjuice might very… Read more
well be my secret ingredient in all meals! (And cocktails) Mary Ann was the best hostess during our wine and gin testing. - So knowledgeable and so lovely… Troy behind the counter was a joy! And another lovely staff member (who sadly I didn’t get her name, but was very fondly referred to as a minion due to her yellow shirt) was just full of happiness and positive energy! I am so grateful… my mum reckons it is her best birthday Eva, and for me, as a complete foodie, tops my list of Culinary experiences! Thank you from the bottom of my heart xx Lisa xx
Very small container – Hi Maggie, Have loved your pates over the years as they are as good as mine and it saves me making them. Purchased one last week from Woolworths and got it home and opened it up and there are now only two good scoops and they are gone. Such a tiny bit for the price. Soon it will only be the lid we get. Big shrinkflation there. Juist not worth it now.
Never Again!!! – I’ve ordered 7 hampers all within the ‘cut off time’ all arriving January 2024. No one will even be at the office to receive them. I’m seriously disappointed. I’d give 0 stars if the option was available.
Not even worth 1 star – If I could give no stars, I would. I placed a hamper order over a week ago and included EXPRESS SHIPPING as I knew Australia Post would be under pressure this time of year..Well, first of all the website locked my account, even though I entered the correct password. I set up a new account with an alternative email, placed my order. Then I noticed… Read more
after submitting, that it recorded Regular Shipping instead of Express. I called them up, 45 mins on hold and another 30 mins on phone. I couldn't give them an order number because, guess what? They never emailed it. So, after finding it in their system, it was emailed to me. I was assured Express Shipping would be applied. After two days and no updates, I enquired by both email and phone if it had dispatched yet? I was told it would be expedited. Day 3 and 4, still no response and further emails sent. Advised it was shipped and they would send tracking info. Day 5 and 6, still no tracking info and more unanswered emails. Day 7, I receive a notification that from Australia Post that the sender is packing my order. Another email to them, unanswered. Tracking shows another 6 days until expected delivery, even though it still hasn't left their warehouse in Sydney. My suggestion to everyone thinking of using Express Delivery is not to bother. Why order Express if they're going to take a week to post it. Isn't the whole idea of Express Shipping centered around the fact that you want the items as soon as possible? Won't shop there again, website issues, communication issues, dispatch issues. I get it's a busy time, but isn't that why they're selling Christmas hampers in the first place?

Seven days to dispatch goods – Hello Maggie Beers site and customer service is getting worse, been shopping for over a year now and the customer service is getting very ordinary. This time it has taken seven days to even dispatch the order.

DO NOT BUY FROM MAGGIE BEER! – Placed an order for a $159 Christmas Hamper on Nov 25th - nearly two months later and it still hasn’t arrived. Have contacted Maggie Beer now FIVE times have been “assured” everytime that I will get my refund in 5-10 working days….Five weeks later still NOTHING. Complete and utter disgrace! My next stop is the ACCC…not at all acceptable!
No hampers delivered but charged me $10.95 – I ordered 2 hampers in early December. Maggie Beer acknowledged the address they put in was wrong. They refunded me less $10.95. So I was charged $10.95 for the privilege of not receiving the hampers. Never again.
No Xmas hamper no word – I am so unhappy - big promises and no hamper I ordered in November
Hamper thrown together by a toddler – Received 2 ordered hampers - they were all over the shop - looked like someone had thrown them in the box. Sauce had JUST 3 mths shelf life
Duck livers only 15%? – After getting out the magnifying glass I was able to read the ingredients. One can't consider Duck and Orange Pate to be duck when duck livers comprise only 15% of the ingredients. Chicken livers comprise the rest. Preservative 220 in the fortified wine and gelatine is sulphur which can lead to breathing difficulties and other problems in… Read more
susceptible people. Seville marmalade and oranges comprise 54%. Perhaps the ingredients could be listed in larger type.
Maggie Beer Christmas Hampers – Disappointing to say the least. Hampers have not been delivered and no feedback from Maggie Beer! I decided to utilise several hamper organisations as a contingency this year and Maggie Beer Hampers were the only organisation that have not delivered the hampers as requested. They need to stop blaming Australia Post given competitors have… Read more
