It's an Okay machine – I nought this machine from officeworks. The water doesn't heat up to hot so sometimes I have to put it into the microwave. This is discontinued. May explain poor ratings – Average flavour when son used it. Very limited creator of variables of end java. Easy to load pods. Not much to clean. Same son upgraded to a complex expensive newer gizmo due to his family n friends ho hum replies. Not for this author, but neither are $699.00 sale priced boat anchors either. great machine – this was a great little machine and you could get the swiss chocolate capsules as well as other selections but tthe swiss chocolate was the best on a cold winters day .the selection of coffee was also good with a very nice capicinno if this was still avalaable i would recommmend you get one  Show details

Best mothers day present ever – I would like to say that my kids bought the red Map machine (now discontinued) 5 years ago for a mother's day present . It still makes my coffee as good as it did the first day I got it. I love the coffee, hot chocolate , green tea ,capachino etc etc. And buying the pods at my regular supermarket is just fantastic. Absolutely useless machine – Definitely will not buy another machine. First one got stolen off me but thats ok because it never heated properly anyway. Bought a second, worked good for a while. Forgot about it, realised it was just out of warantee so pulled it apart. Blockages in every line even after cleaning after every use. Not happy

Not advisable to buy and poor customer support – I received this machine as a gift. Initially it made wonderful coffee and I was very pleased but nine months down the track, it has difficulty pushing water through the capsule and there is SO much leaking of water into the tray and from below the machine, that is a safety hazard near electrics. me that even though it is within warranty, I will have to furnish a receipt which of course I don't have as it was a gift and the family member who bought it for me, bought it whilst on holiday here and doesn't have the receipt anymore. I really loved this machine but I will not be buying a Map Coffee Machine if this is what happens and customer support is not understanding of the circumstances in which the machine came into my possession - a gift.

Rubbish Machine – Coffee Machine motor burnt out in first few days called help line tried to get refund but got a new machine instead work fora few months the other day went to use it, coffee burnt and burnt out the motor, I will never buy MAP again Very Disappointed and really disappointed.

Don't buy map coffee machines – Don't buy map coffee machines, only used 4 times. Read problem guide lines still won't work, sick and tired of buying so called good products. Warranty only last for twelve months, machine should last longer and then you have to pay to get it fixed. Purchase through Good Guys, not there problem or fault very disappointed.

Disapointed – I purchased the Map Bella because I am very fussy with my coffee and this machine made the best tasting coffee, easy to use and clean. The customer support was really good, however I am disappointed in the product. The second replacement machine took no time to begin to leak. I should have contacted support again however had been quite unwell, and just didn't bother. I am on this site as looking for what to purchase next and discovered the Map machines are problematic like this. What a shame as the coffee is great!

Love It Used Everyday – I find it so simple and easy to use and especially when friends call in at home it is so quick to give them a really cafe quality coffee.The only problem that I have is being able to get many different varieties of flavours. I get my capsules from Coles and there is never many to select from, perhaps I should try online but being an invalid pensioner I'm on very limited funds and it be expensive to purchase this way so I must look into it.  Show reply

fails to release the capsules often. I should say that I have not contacted Map, as I just could not be bothered. However, in all my past dealings with them they have given excellent customer service, and I'm sure would have in this instance.

The coffee is still good - in my opinion the best of the pod machine options that I've tasted.

appalled that this is the kind of service you provide with your machines. They seem to be a disposable machine that was a complete waste of money. I would have been better to buy a Nespresso machine as they have a two year warranty and somewhere to service them. Disgusting

to reset the machine. The design is not the best as the machine puts water all over the bench went emptying the pod catcher. I actually have paper towel under the machine to soak this water up. The water catch could also be bigger. The pods do not eject each time and you need to push the pod through to the catcher after use. No good – Purchased a bella coffe machine through recommendations but have found the water temp does not get nearly hot enough, have had it in to the good guys for repairs, they did not send it away for what ever reason ...also wants to go into descale mode to often, and often very noisy.... stay away from this model, will look at another type noisy, water temp is not hot enough

I find this machine Okay if you like just black coffee, or coffee with burnt milk! – I've had this machine a while now, and in my opinion the coffee is okay, but the machine is noisy and the frother is rubbish. I have had three frothers in the space of less than 2 years. All of them burn the milk and have developed faults in a short period of time. Not long ago, we've opted for the Woolworths capsules as they also the same 'Caffe Italy" pod-system. The Woolies coffee pods are also imported from Italy, so you're assured the quality is A-grade. Note for a potential buyer: If you're after 'pod/capsule' style coffee machines take a good look at the Bella. She might not be promoted by an world-known celebrity with a distinguished grey hew but this little gem is the real deal. Quality built machine that delivers great coffee time and time again. Build Quality and reliability. Design is great. The 'Caffe Italy' Pod/Capsule system has been around over 8 years in worldwide. MAP capsules are a little expensive; 10 pods for RRP$6.50

altered the volume. I use filtered water from a Brita jug and have only had to Descale the machine once and this was a breeze. I would sugest when descaling that the used capsule tray is removed so that you can fit a 1 litre jug under the dispenser outlet. really good large flat white that is better than many if not most cafe's.Take the trouble to work out the balance and it will make a good coffee.Friend s have nespresso and while it also can make good coffee the smaller caps mean i would need 3 caps to make my large cup.Final word is that these machines can make good coffe but same as a manual machine you do need to get the balance right Ease of use Frothers are the weak point they all seem to burn the milk in one spot which makes them harder to clean

Great coffee machine – Bought a new coffee machine to replace my Sunbeam Piccolo as it had started to leak water and it just took to long of a morning to make a coffee to take to work with me. Decided on a Capsule machine as it was faster to make coffee and can get the milk going while coffee was being made, so far so good so much more efficient. Great Coffee But!! – I bought a Bella Combo on the 28th December. I am now returning my fourth one. The first one leaked, the second would not prime, the 3rd would not prime and the fourth leaked. The customer service from Harvey Norman was exceptional and Map Ok.Lets hope the fifth one works as they make a great coffee. Trying to get one that works. Show reply

Great coffee machine – A very easy to use coffee making machine, with great tasting coffee. Love the milk frother that comes with it. Would be great if there were a larger range of coffee pods. Hopefully this will happen. Good price. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who is after a great tasting coffee. Also love being able to make hot chocolate, a feature which my Nespresso does not have. Easy to use  Show reply

Happy – I must admit this is my first pod machine so I cannot compare it against other machines, and for what they do I guess its a simple operation and all brands would all do the same thing and that is extract the coffee from the pod, the Map bella machine does this very well I was really surprised on how easy it is to operate and how quick it produces… Read more ·  1

Brilliant Machine!!! – Received a Map Presto for Xmas but didnt work and was extremely disappointed! My sister exchanged it for a Map Bella (which was the one that has the best reviews). I cannot fault this machine whatsoever. IT makes awesome coffees, it's quick & easy to use and it works most of all! Easy to use, great tasting coffee and chocolate!  Show reply

I have been lucky enough to try the Map, DeLonghi and Nespresso in friends' homes, made to my liking (not in a store where they usually just give you a short black to try). I agree with other reviewers that the Map has a superior taste. 

Therefore, I was over the moon when a friend gave me a Map Bella with milk frother combo for Christmas last year. 

I had a problem with the milk frother, so called Harvey Norman. They gave me the number for Map Customer Service.  I spoke to a lady in Sydney (I think) who was so helpful. She asked me some questions, then took my details saying she would call back later in the day. When she called back (the same day), she informed me of all the steps she had taken to resolve my problem, including speaking to her manager, and the service rep in Melbourne.

In the end, the milk frother was beyond repair, so they happily issued me with a replacement. 

The Map Bella and Map milk frother are great products. 

But, better than that, their customer service is second to none. 

I think a lot of companies could learn a lot about customer service from Map. 

(I wish I could remember the name of the lady I spoke to).  The taste - even the decaf was amazing
