Maple & Wattle Hair Custard

This is the only product that works for my little 4yo coarse curly hair. I’ve tried all of the other kids ones and her hair still gets knotty. I just wish it was a bit cheaper but all of the kids products are so expensive these days. Show details

was not, I contacted the delivery company and never heard back, however the same day, I contacted support at maple and wattle. They responded same day with delivery photos. I was able to track downthe house that it was delivered 5 houses down, from those photos. Even though it had the correct number on the package. The delivery company was at fault, but the support team came to the rescue effectively. Thank you

product does exactly what it says. All other products I’ve used on my hair (which is very thin, long, and fine) leaves it way to oily or doesn’t do anything at all. After one use I was baffled! I will never purchase anything else and have continued my business by buying Roll on Perfume - candyland, Carpet Freshener - warm vanilla sugar, and Carpet Freshener - domestic goddess. I can’t wait to use it. Very highly recommended on all products!

Disappointed and deceiving website reviews – I bought 3 different smelling fairy locks, 3 different body spritzers, 2 different bubble rubbles and 1 dog spray. but then after it was actually used it was also not as nice smelling and way too strong. I couldn't use the dog spray at all because it was that bad. The fairy locks also do not help the hair, they actually make it dry and stringy and doesn't help with knots at all. But what annoyed me the most was that the website kept asking for my review which I did, but it conveniently only posted my positive ones in regards to unicorn Jelly. They did not post any of my other comments or reviews which makes the website extremely deceiving since I'm assuming they no longer post anyone's negative reviews. I am really disappointed, it was quite a bit of money to spend on products that we can't use.

Don't waste your money – Spent $340 on products. Everything leaves a disgusting oily layer on your skin and the face products have made our faces breakout. The hair products are useless leaving my hair feeling like it hasn't been washed and weighs down my curls. One whipped soap was fluffy and the other was rock solid. Won’t be buying again – I tried the hair custard and fairy locks on my daughters hair and it did the opposite of what it said, they all have bum length hair and it made it like straw, won’t be purchasing again.

Horrible product delivery experience – Looks like a scammer company. the product price stating courier refund and restocking fee. Worst customer service and arrogant staff. They won’t even bother giving a call just sitting behind an email. I wouldn’ recommend any purchase from them. I have received only around half of my money paid for product. Looks like they earn money this way.

smelt by either myself or a colleague. Their comeback to that was it must be my sense of smell. Yeah cos their product couldn't be below par quality. I have purchased from several other companies and it is not my sense of smell because their fragrances last. I was offered an item in my next order. Like I will ever order from them again. Poor quality and poor customer service, why would I go back? I'll stick to my suppliers who provide quality and service thanks. Have ample opportunity for them to respond to me again after my reply before choosing to pay negative review as I think people should be aware of their shonky business ethics and poor quality of product. This company has been reported to ACCC and Consumer Affairs – Don't believe the hype is correct. The synthetic fragrance in these products is horrendous. trying to detangle in the shower. Hair custard + argan oil left my fair feeling like dry hay and with the worst frizz by day 2. I usually get 4-6 days between washes, with no issues, I have to wash my Maple and Wattled hair by day 3 because the frizz and tangles are so bad. I want to wash my hair on day 2 but that is not good for curly hair. Something about the product also weighs down my curls, they have no bounce or spring. I also am not sure why their products require colouring. The pink tint in the Candyland hair custard made my natural blonde hair look brassy. The argan oil is in the tiniest little bottles. It is clear liquid, so obviously overly processed, with none of the proper golden tint. It's no wonder it does nothing for my hair. I am going back to DIY my own argan oil serum at a fraction of the cost. This company has also been reported to the ACCC and Consumer Affairs for their manipulative promotional practices and for removing products after the point of sale, so that customers cannot make a properly informed purchase. Learn to code your carts correctly, like every other company out there. They tick so many of the "protect yourself from these practices" boxes. It's frustrating that they ticked all of these boxes after I made a purchase. I've given them my feedback directly, as an option to consider and correct their practices before going public, and they do not care. I've never seen a company so aggressively and willfully mislead their customers (specific details provided to ACCC and Consumer Affairs). It's sad. I had been hoping that this was a small company I could really get behind, but it turns out they are nothing they pitch themselves to be.

Don't believe the hype! – It's a tub of conditioner with a subtle scent. It's one of those Facebook ads that hopes to work wonders. It doesn't. I wish it did, infact it seemed to make my daughter's hair even drier. Please don't purchase this if you are looking for a miracle

I would describe as vinegar. It was so bad I had to check the bottles for a used by date or a manufactured date(which there are none displayed on the product) except all I could find was a 6 month shelf life printed on the bottle. Very disappointed and definitely would not recommend.

Horrible smell and sticky hair – I was so looking forward to using these products on my children’s hair, but unfortunately the Paradise Palm scent smells like a toilet spray, and the fairy locks not only doesn’t help detangle their hair but makes it sticky and leaves it with a greasy type of coating. Not for me :( – I so desperately wanted to love these products. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner - and whilst they do smell absolutely amazing - unfortunately they do not suit my hair. Since I started using the shampoo and conditioner my hair has been dull, frizzy, tangled and knotty. I guess it’s not for my hair type :( Show details

Not suitable for my daughter's hair – Bought this because of good reviews. Unfortunately the product doesn't work for my daughter's hair. After shampoo or even after conditioner or both, her hair is just soooo sticky. I thought maybe I didn't wash it properly. But it's always the same, like I put a cake icing on her hair which makes it tangled. Lovely fragrance.. unfortunately it doesn't really work for her. I switched to palmolive purple detangled her. It works much better for her.

Product faulty – Very disappointed in this company. The brush broke after 7 wk use. Company won’t replace it even though explained situation. A very sad 10 yr old!!! Will not be recommending this company!!!

Hair custard is fantastic! – I use the hair custard every few days, it makes my hair shiny and curly whilst keeping it fresh with a lovely smell. The trick for me is to wash my hair and then put about a 20c piece six of the custard in my hair, give it a scrunch and I have soft, ringlets all day long. Superb. Love! love! love! – The products were packaged beautifully and the fragrance’s smell amazing! Only just received my products so I am yet to try the hair custard, however the spray is a 10/10! Made my hair so soft and shiny! Can’t wait to put the custard in my hair !

Wonderland pack review – The products were packed beautifully and work really well. The hair custard is definitely worth the hype. For long thick hair definitely a big bottle of detangler because you will go through the little ones quickly.

Best products ever ❤️ – Maple and Wattle are the best hair products. Everything leaves your hair looking, feeling and smelling AMAZING! My kids have sensitive curly hair and it’s been the best stuff for them plus they smell so good all day!!! And the scents are all soooo good. It’s hard to choose which flavour to buy next.
