Just got a box of celebrations for Christmas. I was really surprised out of how awful all the chocolates tasted, even the bounty my favorite. The Mars bar is clearly inferior to what it used to taste like no longer does It taste creamy and delicious. The chocolate has changed for sure. It tastes sugary and cheap. Can’t say I’m going to go out of my way to buy any Mars chocolates again.

back but the cost of luving has affected most things, I usually buy the fun size pack for value and try to keep it under 4 packs a fortnight, depending on 12 or 20 , which ever is on special , thank you for my guilty treat , my waist line not so much but I needed the extra kgs .x

Taste ruined – Taste ruined, I bought 4 of these the other day after not having a mars bar for years. The taste was chemical and disgusting. The paper wrapper is a likely culprit of the recipe is unchanged.

Tastes like musty wet paper – To best describe the taste imparted on the chocolate by the paper wrapper, I would say it tastes like the smell of musty waterlogged paper. If you left a book out or an old team of paper in the rain for weeks. The smell aligns with the taste

New paper wrapping on Mars & Snickers makes the chocolate taste disgusting – Ever since they changed the wrapper from plastic, the chocolate tastes weird. You can literally taste the strange papery/cardboard taste in the chocolate. Same with Mars Bars & Snickers. It’s disgusting.

New packaging on mars bar tastes like chemicals – Ever done the new packaging, Mars Bars have an off taste, like chemicals. The fun size ones in original packaging still have that same taste. Surely they have noticed this huge mistake

Horrible new taste!! – Taste like crap now!! I don't know if it's the new paper wrapper or if they have started using cheaper ingredients, but either way I won't be buying one again and that's a shame because I've always really liked Mars bars ever since u was a child. Yuk. What happened to them? – Yuk! I dont know what theyre making these out of these days, but it was the worse chocolate exp ever! Mars bars USED TO BE nice! And now half the size too! Prob better cause just eating that amount was already too much.

Appalling ! New packaging has ruined a childhood memory ! – I took one bite of a mars bar in the new packaging and googled mouldy mars bar! WTH happened to mars bars. It seems to be the packaging ! What is most upsetting is these haven’t been pulled from shelves and replaced. Bad marketing company that allowed this to continue for such a large company !

Awful taste – Used to be my favourite chocolate. Now it's disgusting and tastes nothing like Mars Bars. I now eat Moros.... They are so much better than a Mars Bar these days. Will never eat a Mars Bar again, they taste stale and off and smell of chemicals. Whatever you guys did changing the way that Mars Bars are produced has completely ruined this staple chocolate. So disappointing.

M'#ss Bar – At the airport with a long delay and wanting a lil snacks snack. Got a Mars Bar and managed one small bite before it got thrown in the bin. Why do they taste like plastic/chemicals now?! I love these normally but will not be buying them again until the normal packaging comes back.

They've somehow ruined a classic chocolate – The new packaging of Mars and Snickers has ruined them. They taste stale and flavourless. I bought a 2 pack today and gave half to my 4 year old, she took one bite and said it was 'yuck' I agreed. Last time I buy one.

Terrible taste – Brought one from woolies and it was foul!!!!! Smells like chemicals!!! Wth is going on? Why change the packaging!!!?????? This recycled nonsense is ruining the taste!!!!!!!!!! Fix this or you will lose alot of consumers!!!!!!!

Foul tasting Mars Bar – My wife and I shared a Mars bar that we bought from Coles. We were both disgusted by the taste! Both of us couldn't finish it. It tasted foul. Please fix this otherwise you will lose lots of customers.

Tastes gross, mars blames storage – Every marsbar I have purchased since the packaging changed has had a weird taste/smell. Almost seems like they are stale. They have gone from my favourite chocolate bar to my least favourite. I reached out to mars about the issues and they claimed that the product 'may not have been stored correctly'. Ignoring that they have been purchased from a number of different stores on different dates.

Gross taste – Purchased two mars bars and one snickers bar on sale recently and they taste gross! My son said it tasted like what he imagined a dirty bin tastes like. No idea what has happened but definitely not the same.

Inedible! – What in the name of chocolate is going on here? Since the packaging changed Mars have also altered their recipe, which now resembles dirt with a hint of......mold? Basically inedible.

All I could taste was the wrapper – I purchased a mars bar today for the first time in quite a while, and it tasted like the new paper packaging. Im all for making packaging easier to recycle, however I don't want the product to taste like it. From reading other reviews, i am not the only person that has found this to be the case. I will be avoiding any of the mars products that are in this new style of wrapper until it is changed.

Mars Bar Taste Change – I purchased 2 Mars Bars from Coles Supermarket, Five Dock. Both bars were in the new paper style wrapping, use by date was fine, however both bars tasted of the paper wrapping. Couldn't eat them, tossed out. Disappointed. I like Mars Bars. Better in the foil wrap.

Just not what they used to be – I remember eating Mars Bars when I was younger... they actually had flavour and weren't as sweet as they are now. These days they taste like you're eating a block of sugar! Where's the flavour gone? You can't taste the chocolate, caramel, or nougat. What's the point in making a chocolate bar that just tastes like sugar? They've also shrunk considerably. Bring back the old recipe and size! This current Mars Bar they sell is poor quality.
