Just had my Saturn 13 serviced. The service team did a fantastic job. Performed above and beyond my expectations. Shekhan, service manager, recognised some additional issues with my camper and sorted them out with absolute professionalism and no fuss. A big thank you...

Sale's person very friendly until they got our money. We were lied to from the very beginning. At collection there were many problems. A week later we went to go on our 1st trip. Problems problems problems. Electric system wasn't working, 4hrs later finally got it to work with no help from mars perth. Went round a small round about and the… Read more

jockey wheel hits our car. Get to destination to find the awning broken. While on trip Electric system kept tripping, batteries kept overheating. We lasted 3 days and decided to come home. Mars perth dismissed my serious concerns with the Electric system and all the other issues, which are too many to list. And kept telling me easy fix. But weight, mars perth cannot provide me with a detailed job sheet of all work carried out, as there isn't one. Apparently I'm just to take there word for it. Funny thing is after being told about all the work that was done, I went into the van to find that no repair had been done at all. They are liers and the workmanship is disgraceful. 69k out of pocket for a van we cannot use

My experience with MARS Campers has been very disappointing. The inverter in my camper never worked properly and I returned multiple times to repair or replace, which still never got done leaving the MARS camper unusable for off-grid trips despite multiple attempts to get the issue resolved. The camper was fitted with 240v parts from new… Read more

requiring connected power or inverter to use stabilisers/air pumps.

In my opinion , the overall build quality and electrical work in the Space X model, appears substandard with cheaply made manufacturing and components. I had to pay a local auto electrician to repair many poor wiring and replace poor quality batteries from new.

What’s even more frustrating is that the company made me remove a Facebook feedback post before they would work on my MARS camper which was under warranty. They seem quick to suppress or remove negative feedback instead of addressing genuine customer concerns.

In my opinion, I wouldn’t recommend MARS Campers as they are very difficult to deal with on warranty issues. My camper warranty felt like a curb side meaning once it was picked up new, we were pretty much unsupported on warranty.

They could have retained me as a customer, but going from a happy sale to poor warranty service is too risky and for me speaks volumes on company. Thankfully, I leaned a lesson, and I see why people buy from established brand like Jayco.

Bought a Spirit 2Pac camper trailer in 2023. From new we had electrical problems and it went in for warranty repairs three times. They said they replaced the batteries with new but it didn't fix the problem. I got the batteries tested and they were only operating at 60%. After pointing this out, they refused to look any further at the electrical… Read more

problems (batteries not charging). I then paid for an auto electrician to look at it and he found a loose wire in the drawbar trailer connection, obviously never checked by Mars.

Since that time, the whole management team was sacked and replaced three times. In the midst of all of this I was returning from a camping trip and the rear steel, manufactured box-frame suspension swing arm had snapped along a weld seam. (See pictures). I had to get the vehicle tilt tray transported into the nearest town. Upon contacting the local branch, I was palmed off to head office and I had to call and send an email with photos to request repairs under warranty as the local manager has not authority to make such decisions. That's useless to people who are using the campers for what they are designed for, and that it being away on trips, essentially stuck in an outback town with a broken van!

There was a 5 year structural warranty with their vans BTW. The next day I got approval for repairs. Then a week or so later I sent the receipts in for repairs. After several weeks I heard nothing and they did not even bother to get back to me. After leaving a negative post on their Facebook page, I contacted their CEO via Messenger. Then someone contacted me. (BTW they do not post any negative reviews on their FB page. It is totally censored giving a false impression that no one has issues like the one I am describing). Then they said the suspension was not covered under the structural warranty and it was only covered for one year. I pointed out that we were not talking about shock absorbers or springs made by third parties, but a manufactured part just like the chassis. And anyway, they had already given me the go ahead for repairs but were now reneging on it. So they would not cover repairs or the towing costs. After much, haranguing and threats (unfortunately) they would only cover either replacement of suspension or the towing costs and welding for repairs. As the repair had made it stronger than original design, I decided to leave it as is and get the paltry $300+ off them for towing costs etc.

In talking with the sacked managers, it appears the company has a terrible culture, and I would never buy anything from them again as they are just terrible people to do with in my experience. I have since upgraded and now bought a $60k caravan from elsewhere, so they've missed out. Given that caravan owners sit at sites, look at each other's vans and compare, this terrible customer service is very short sighted of them.

Mars Campers / A & S Powerseller Pty Ltd – Space X Air (Purchased December 2024) We purchased a Space X Air camper trailer from Mars Campers Hallam in December 2024 for $34,000. It was a display model, sold to us with the assurance that it was in near-new condition and would function as a brand new unit. Unfortunately, from the beginning, we… Read more

experienced multiple issues including: • Fridge slide and fridge door damage • Remote control issues • Missing electric stabiliser legs (they were there prior to pickup) • Faulty gas bottle holder • Leaking annex • No instructions for the solar panel system • And a rushed handover process

Despite contacting Mars Campers multiple times via email and in person, we received limited support, no written resolutions, and no follow-up to our concerns. Even after a recent call from a staff member named Sheekhan promising help, we were offered a booking for a date that had already passed, and no written confirmation was provided.

Under Australian Consumer Law, products must be of acceptable quality and match their description—this has clearly not been our experience. The camper has only been used for one short trip and does not meet the quality or durability promised.

We have lodged a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria and are awaiting a resolution. We hope sharing our experience helps others make an informed decision and encourages Mars Campers to take responsibility for their customer obligations.

So after buying a Mars camper we find a few things that required repair under warranty, The main one was one burner on the four burner hob not working, simple fix you might think. Untold phone calls and an email or two and all we get is "we'll get back to you".. which they never do, If it's after sales service you're looking for this is probably not the company for you. Show details

Mars Campers Perth terrible customer service except for [Name Removed] who tried her very hardest to help us. notifying Mars that we were working with ACCC they decided to replace the wall. They rang us 62 days ago and told us to bring it to the warehouse and they would fix it. 56 days ago we took the camper down and we have only been notified once and that was to be told no staff knew how to fix the camper. We are still waiting. We are working with ACCC again demanding they replace or refund our camper.

A Whole Experience Rather Than Just a Purchase – The personnel here made us feel at home as soon as we began seeing caravans. Demetri in particular took the time to comprehend our particular requirements. His meticulous attention to detail and thorough explanations gave us total confidence in our selection. This was a thorough counseling experience rather than merely a sale.

Shoddy workmanship – First trip in the camper a wheel flew off on the highway nearly causing a major accident (not covered by any warranty), one of the bands holding the water tank on the trailer snapped, and all the mudflaps ripped off (hadn't even been on a dirt road at this point). Now after just over 2 years all the paint is bubbling all over the main body of the… Read more

Dealer denying issues exist – We purchased a Mars Titan in Feb 2023. We have had to take it for repairs 3 times already. First issue with the stove top was fixed. Now we are at risk of loosing more belongings to this issue as Mars refuse to acknowledge their product is faulty.

Something broke or fell off on nearly every trip – I collected my new Mars Vanguard Hard Floor Camper in January 2017. On my way home from picking up the new camper the entire kitchen unit fell out onto the road and was smashed beyond repair. It was only after considerable haggling that Mars agreed a warranty claim to fix it at their cost. The kitchen replacement took 3 months. On my first camping… Read more

trip the bolt that you put the winch strap through to close the hard floor snapped off. Rather than haggle again with the people at Mars I bought a high tensile replacement from Bunnings. Since then, the water pump has packed up, the stainless steel kitchen has gone rusty despite being treated with care, the winch strap has frayed beyond repair, the cable to the number plate light has broken, the rubber caps on the 12v sockets have turned to black soot (not UV resistant material), the waterproof cover on the water pump switch has fallen off, the hammer coat paint is peeling off, the annexe keeps detaching itself from the main tent. I'm now trading it in for a new hybrid camper - definitely not one from Mars.

Warning! Despicable! Must Read! – Must read!!! Urgent urgent! Do not buy. ok, where do I start. for anyone who is in the market to buy a camper I feel it is my duty to forewarn every single member of the public on what this company does to innocent customers and general public. please be warned, this is a MUST READ before you even begin to consider MARS Campers. order with Mars in October for a camper for our Christmas holidays. Mind you, this is after stage four restrictions had been lifted and we had been guaranteed by the sales team at Mars that if we paid a deposit our camper would be ready at very latest 15th December. Once the order was placed we never once received a phone call from Mars to check in or follow up on our order or to update us with an ETA, instead every time I called, I was told we dont know what's happening with your order. I then requested to speak to [name removed] the salesman each time who advised there was nothing to worry about that our order would definitely be ready by the 15th December. Long story short you know how bad customer service goes, everytime you call, the responses you receive "he's with a customer, he's on another call, he's busy can I take your number and get him to call you back" and then they never call etc etc.

I persisted and spoke to a production manager who told me he would get answers as I was very annoyed by this stage, next thing you know, the second I hang up the phone, the sales team calls and says your trailer will be ready on the 10th, this is after I had just been told it wasn't in the country it was still somewhere in transit.

We turn up on the 10th to pick up our brand new, newly assembled camper trailer to discover a disgusting, mouldy, rusted, resprayed cover up, dirty old weather camper trailer that they had tried to make out was brand new. they even used white out on the front guard as a touch up!!!!!!

It gets so much worse from here, including refusal to give us our cheque back that they had processed immediately, to a 000 call to the police.

I urge each and every person out there do not support this company, do not buy you will regret. They are dodgy lying thieving people who will take advantage of you! Dont believe me read all reviews! Not just the ones from their mates.

As a side note, I have lodged an application with VCAT to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Not only did they steal our money which we eventually recovered, they flat out lied, tried to sell us a product as brand new that they eventually admitted was not and then verbally abused us when we questioned them about it. A report to a policeman has been made to account for the seriousness of their behaviour and my no doubt belief of their dodgy thieving business practices. As a member of the public i urge you to read my review and take it on board. Do your research, do not end up in a situation where they lie and ruin your holiday leaving you with no time to arrange something else.

And before you think im just someone with a grudge take a look at the previous reviews and responses from the owner to get a real take on what they are about!

If you want customer service look elsewhere – Picked up our camper on the 22nd of August, were informed the day before pick up that the 90L fridge and boat rack were not in stock and that they would let us know when they arrived and we would have to bring it back to be fitted, we weren't too concerned about the boat rack but to use the camper we really needed a fridge so they agreed to give… Read more

us a display model 60L fridge until the one we wanted arrived, on the day of pick up this fridge was placed in the drawer by them, it was definitely used and dirty and I regret not taking photos of it in the day. 2 months went by with no word and we had used the camper 4 times in those 2 months and I will say the camper is fine, the small fridge didn't fit properly in the drawer so I had strapped it down to stop it moving around. I then contacted mars to enquire about the fridge and boat rack and was told that they had come in last week and they were about to contact me apparently, they probably weren't in a hurry to sort it out as we had paid them the full amount in good faith 2 months earlier even though it was missing a fridge and boat rack, about $2000 worth of gear I reckon. The rack and proper fridge were fitted but then I was accused of not returning a 240v lead that was with the 60L fridge, I told them that it never came with a 240v lead, the fridge was in the camper connected to 12v and I wouldn't have needed one anyway but they did not believe me. They need to remember that the reason they had to loan me a fridge was because they couldn't provide what I had paid for in full in the first place, their customer service is terrible and I hope I have no issues with my camper under warranty as I would not want to deal with them again
