sense of urgency or accountability in resolving this matter. The lack of professionalism and disregard for safety is completely unacceptable. Sue Scott has been one of the most unprofessional agents I have ever encountered. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend her services to anyone seeking reliable or competent support. Her behavior was frustrating, and the overall experience was nothing short of disappointing.

empathetic, and thorough in her approach, always putting our best interests first. Kierra's genuine investment in her clients' needs is rare to find, and she is a terrific person to deal with. I wholeheartedly recommend her if you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond to support you.

Unfortunately, my experience with another staff member, Liam Adey, was the complete opposite. To say that Liam was unprofessional would be an understatement. He came across as sordid, egoistic, and utterly arrogant. His dismissive and judgmental attitude made every interaction feel uncomfortable. But it didn't stop there—Liam's sarcasm and outright insulting behaviour were shocking. He seemed more interested in belittling people than actually helping them.

What was most appalling, however, was his thinly veiled racism. His tone and comments were clearly prejudiced, and it's beyond me how someone like him is allowed to represent a company like Marshall White. Liam’s arrogance is only matched by his lack of basic decency, and anyone unfortunate enough to deal with him should brace themselves for a barrage of condescending remarks.

Marshall White should be ashamed to have someone as toxic as Liam Adey on their team. My advice? Stay far, far away from him at all costs. This kind of behaviour should have no place in any business, let alone one that claims to prioritise customer service.

when my apartment building would be finished - bought in August 2017, I was repeatedly assured it'd be done in a year or so. No less than five years later, I received an email (despite terminating my contract in 2020) that "settlement is approaching". The lads at Marshall White are first-rate at what they do if you realise that what they do is make big bucks for themselves by duping ordinary people... All is a mirage at Marshall White, dear buyer - as soon as you've signed that contract a very different reality will emerge.

They had sent the writer around in the beginning, but did not tell me they were coming. I rang , the office, complained about the above. Two days later flowers on my doorstep. Do not use MWhite , t h ey could not care less, just their commission.

Absolutely shocking to deal with – Be very careful when purchasing an off the plan apartment with Marshall White Projects. They don't respond to emails, they don't return phone calls or step in as an intermediary to help rectify issues, all they do is protect the commissions from the developers they sell the apartments for. The recent changes to off the plan contracts are not enough to protect purchasers, agents as first points of call need to be held accountable for the representations they make to purchasers in order to sell these apartments.

which for a large company such as theirs is, quite frankly, unbelievable. These guys are very smooth and tell you nothing about the fact that if you don’t meet settlement, not only will you lose your deposit (ours was about $200,000) which we understood, but that they would charge us the commercial rate of 2.5% on the total value of our new apartment if we sold it, which came out to $50,000.00. We were running out of time to settle so we decided to put the new apartment up for sale. Thank God they sold it, but we were charged $50,000.00 for selling the new apartment because we were told this is the amount they charged developers. Well, we are not developers but two elderly people who have worked all our lives and can’t afford to lose this amount of money. But as expected, this made no difference to Marshall White. And for what it’s worth, we went with Ian Reid in collaboration with Jellis Craig who managed to sell our place in three weeks. So much for all the spin Marshall White say about their sales people. So my advice is, think long and hard before you sign anything with this mob.

every small detail and the landlord wanted us to pay for professional cleaners Noting that according to the RTBA and tenancy act tenants do not need to clean a property more than we found it and we left it clean! The RTBA also states that professional cleaning required if one was used on entering. agency EVER! Have had better treatment as a tenant. Our reward? A zip lock bag with the keys in reception, after waiting 4 years for completion! That's it!!! Marshall White are arrogant, entitled, completely bereft of integrity or professionalism and are clearly just there to make money and rip people off without a care (just check out the cars they all drive!) in the process. They could not even tell us where to pick the keys up from and when we did collect them they were handed to us in a plastic bag! I guess champagne and a congratulations is out of the question when you have to wait nearly 4 years for it to be completed. Their arrogance, callousness and disinterest in us as purchasers is astounding. Do yourself a favour and walk on by.

I even had the owner phoning in hospital threatening me which is un heard of when they have an agent The apartment is now up for lease again at $100 per week less than I was paying. I have also had the agent threating me wanting to use all the bond $2700 to make repairs and for me to pay additional rent of about $6200 or she will black list me with Veda.

Brilliant, attentive and meticulous – I have used Marshall White since 2016 for leasing out my property and then managing it for us, they have helped me select fabulous tenants, they spend the time and effort ensuring we have the right tenants. If we have had any issues with the property they are prompt with letting us know and select excellent trades people, they go above and beyond… Read more

in both their leasing and management. Shout out to Melissa Baile and Jade Wilson who helped us most recently, but I can say that all their employees have been wonderful. I would absolutely recommend them and wouldn't use anyone else to manage our property.

auction day. He then accused me of not getting the deposit cheque into the office. It was in the office and the office had clearly misplaced it. No apology given. I am currently trying to organise inspections of the property prior to settlement and surprise surprise they can’t agree to any day I have off work. There are plenty of other real estate agents to use to sell your house other than Marshall white. Shelter is getting good reviews. Do yourself a favour and don’t use MW. All you get is arrogance and superiority.

identified. She conducted another inspection and declared herself satisfied with the condition of the property. However, prior to release of my bond, she informed me that the landlord would be doing another inspection following which they tried to extort several hundred dollars out of me for additional cleaning. This failed as I knew I would win at VCAT following consulting with Consumer Affairs amongst others. I sympathise that she was dealing with a greedy money grubbing landlord but could have done more to push back on their unreasonable demands.

was the property that she was interested in and that there was no barriers to settling, My mother was paying cash, so no finance, we removed the request for a building inspection and was happy to meet any of the vendors terms in regards to a settlement date.

Robin informed us of the offer on the table, 1795k. we matched it. "Dont go to far" he said, he was now going to talk with the Vendors. An hour later we where informed that the other interested party offered 1812k, without hesitation we went to 1825k, then told they have increased it to 1828k, we quickly moved to 1835k.

After 10 minutes we get a call saying the property has been sold. My Mum is devastated as she had much more money in reserve to buy the property and not given a chance. Robins response was they wanted to go with a young family.

On the surface this sounds understandable but this was never conveyed to us. Also where the vendors aware that we would pay 50k more. Marshall White where not acting in anyone's best interest except there own.

We reached out to the vendor who politely replied and was as confused as we where, he was told that we where not that keen, wanting an inspection and where not prepared to go to the auction. All of it lies.

In short Marshall White talked up the lower bidders and misrepresented us that where willing to pay more.

Our last words to Robin was lets get this done.

I feel Marshall White are only out for there own interest, they have short changed the vendor by Tens of thousands and completely used my Mother.

I would never deal with the Marshall White Brighton Office. At this point in time we are awaiting an explanation to what really transpired and why.

We ill be making alot of noise about this behavior as anyone who signs on needs to know about the People there dealing with.

Absolutely Disgusted.

Long story short we drove to the area, and it was not for us, we had to fork out the cooling off period fee, but I just feel that the agent pressured us very well! good sales men but not ethical in any sense. Beware first home buyers - make sure you know your stuff before dealing with them

Beware Marshall White emails! – Here's a warning! Don't subscribe, even accidentally, to Marshall White emails. I never subscribed but for several years I have been bombarded with unwanted offers. I have pressed the Unsubscribe button numerous times, but the emails keep on coming. In desperation I sent them a personal email requesting "unsubscription" and a confirmation. Needless to say, this too was ignored. They are either arrogant, frustrating, inefficient or worse..

Marshall VERY WHITE – Marshall White definitely are WHITE. To attend a neighbour's auction on Thursday (25 Oct 2018) in Malvern and to be told to not steal anything as they have their agents throughout the property is not a joke I found very funny. PLEASE AVOID GIVING THEM ANY BUSINESS.

Misleading, unprofessional and not to be trusted – Misleading and false, the agent drilled down my property price after the first week 3 times, never informed me of ‘dramas’ that occurred at an open inspections until I accidentally found out a month later, damage was caused twice during opens, very unprofessional and not to be trusted; over the top advertising prices. after contacting the Tenants Association and serving a 'Breach of Landlord duties' document that prompted any action. One issue was not resolved in the 10 months we rented and we decided to come out of the lease early. We would now avoid them as an agency, finding them arrogant and ineffective to deal with.

A few months later, the property manager left the firm, and a new guy came in. It took them several weeks to find a replacement. I assume this implies unexpected departure of the former person.

The new guy asked me for many things, which I had given to the former manager already. Terrible internal communication!!

The new guy made an appointment with me for an inspection. He rescheduled the inspection on the day of the appointment. it was rescheduled to 4 weeks later. He said he would come in between 3 pm and 5:30 pm. Well, today is the day of the appointment, and it is 5:38 pm. He has not showed up.

Their service has been very consistent. Consistently terrible.

inspections per year, mind you I live in Brisbane so I am sure once a year is suffice for when I visit Melbourne) to me now having debt collectors calling me because tenants were not registered when a new tenancy took place to now water bills not being paid even though I have been debited from their accounts department over six months ago (still waiting to see where this money has got to!). When I call this property manager to ask for an update he gives me another excuse and says he shouldn't have to let me know why he is not getting back to me. Pathetic really and quite incompetent at his job. Not only I have experienced this from him but when I did visit Melbourne and mentioned his name, eyes rolled and I was told that is why they also left Marshall White One.

I had my property managed by Marshall White One and paid the fees which are higher than all other agents for 4 months before I had to take my business elsewhere to ensure issues were being rectified.

Since moving across to Castran Gilbert in South Yarra I have had everything sorted and no issues whatsoever. AMAZING what someone can do when they do their job properly. The whole process with Marshall White One has been terrible and time consuming - When addressing these issues with this particular property manager numerous times to which every time he comes back with a poor excuse as to why he has not done his job correctly.

I would advise people to shop around before choosing Marshall White One to manage their property.

Pompous arrogant under quote – Had 2 representatives come from marshall white Armadale to provide a quote. The arrogance of the male agent was incredible. Plus his no care attitude. Considering they were there to provide a quote/service you would have thought they would have presented themselves in the best manner. I hate to think how they would behave once they got your business. He was the epitome of the car salesman.
