We moved a bedroom home that we lived in for over 20 years and moved to the central coast. These guys were faultless. Massive thankyou to Albert, Martin & Rami. Incredible workers, no messing around and so easy to deal with. Also a shout out to Marios for his efforts in assisting our move. Great tem Marios, it's a credit to you.

NO ONE USE THIS COMPANY!!! MATES GROUP REMOVALIST they didnt want to move our house they took 1/4 of a 14t truck full left the moving home and dumped all our belongings they took which was a couple bed frames mattress lounges and thats it and dumped it on the front yard. to our lounges my partner done 3 trips of boxes in the kia carnival jammed packed back and forth to and from old and new house in their so called 3.5hrs of work.
Photos are attatched of what they done in 3.5hrs they wanted $70p 1/2hr plus gst.
warning for everyone out their so no one else gets ripped off or their belongings stolen like they done to us lounges and stuff from beds not knowing until it came to building it all thry they stole and took our belongings.
They wanted us to pay 7hours up front for them to continue the work so almost 1.1k after they dumped our belongings but wouldnt come back unless I paid them 7 hours of work i told them where the sun dont shine and isnt happening i know a scam when I see one.
I wasnt that dumb to pay them 7hrs of work when it took us in total 4hours after their "3.5" hours of taking hardly anything. Always standing around took them 30mins to half wrap a queen bed mattress.
I said i would pay once the job was completed but the Removalist conditions was i was to pay 7hr up front or they wont continue.
the men who came didnt want to do the job the second they came they got to our house they were no stop complaining and compained how much was to be done, yet it was bare minimum all we asked for was beds, lounges, washing machine, drier, all the draws, tv, fridge and freezer to be moved. While we will handle the boxes yet that couldnt even be done so they left a family of 6 homeless with some of our belongings at a new house and the rest at the old not even 1 full bed was at the new home.

They took 30mins to half wrap a queen mattress came in the home and said we cant do this its too much for us and took their time doing what they did
Will be taking this further as theyve stolen the back to our lounges and wont return it. They've magically disappeared into things air apparently.
This is apparently 3.5hours worth of work and wanting $350 for it first 3 photos is how they left our belongings.

The lounges are now built but apparently weve got them yeah okay so whys 2 missing off 1 and 1 missing off another they also took stuff from beds too now we started building them not realising until building them
Im so p*ssed off you put your trust into someone and they do this to a family yet they still demanded for us to pay for 3.5hours of work on top of the $200 bond i said i want my stuff back but denial denial denial so now if my kid accidentally falls off because they stole the backs from our lounges they will be sorry. Also leaving thing out my partner has a crushed spinal cord but they left all our belongings they took that apparently took 3.5 hours to do and left it dumped all over the lawn and drive way.
So not only they stole from a struggling family with 4 children 6 and under just wanting to be in their home For the Easter long weekend they stole items from us that means nothing to them but just to hurt us and be mean. The bosses had no sympathy and said they must of got stolen off the lawn. Okay whats someone going to do with bits of beds and 3 back of a lounge ?
Aca wil be contacted im so over companies like them getting away with things like this to people who pay for a service. The 7hr payment they wanted when they already dumped and took off from the new home was 1p0% not happening they would have taken my money and run with it.

The truck left our house in Sydney at 10.30am and arrived in Adelaide by about 9am the next day! The most efficient and cheapest option we found.

Would recommend Mates Removals to anyone and everyone: they were professional from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. We moved from Turramurra to Harrington on the Mid North Coast and had lots of heavy plants and furniture! The crew were on time, packed up safely and arrived at destination early the next day. have a huge amount of heavy things going up there but they were loading boxes and ferrying them up. I kept having to stop them to ask what were the boxes labeled and where were they going. It wasn’t great, they were clearly tired from driving all night and then had another 10 hour drive ahead. They broke the wheel on our bbq because they loaded granny things on top of it as well, and wheeled it down the ramp too fast, and didn’t care even when I pointed it out. At completion I had to sign for delivery and they pressured several times for 5 star review, I said I’d do it later. We’ve moved several times and I’d say these were the worst.
I've used a lot of removalist companies, so I know what to expect, and I won't be using these guys again. They were incredibly slow. drive 3.5km, then another 3 hours to unload it into a storage unit. When asked why they were charging until 2pm when it was only 1:30pm, he said "well, we haven't left yet". They also tried to charge for 2 heavy items but weren't able to identify what the heavy items were just that "There's lots of heavy stuff." They finally agreed to remove that charge. They also quoted prices that didn't include GST so that got added at the end.
Nothing was damaged, they were polite, arrived on time but I'm pretty sure we were taken for a ride. If you're going to use this company, get a set price up front.

Difficult move done well – Mates Group Removals did a great job moving me from a three bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment in a high rise building. Not as good as the reviews led us to believe – We went with this provider based on product review feedback but not a great experience. then superglued back together. We had Fragile labelled boxes crushed under heavy boxes despite asking the removalist to be careful about this. We are out of pocket at least $800 for damage to our contents. The follow up phone call was also disappointing, with the removalist trying to get us to accept $200 for damage caused if we remove our negative review. They were nowhere near as good as the reviews led us to believe. Don't trust their feedback.
Great Company and amazing customer service – Great company and amazing customer service. Over the years, I have used their services 5 times now. They take care of their regular customers even more.
Fraudulent billing – I would give a negative if I could.. totally fraudulent billing. They repeat the same thing over and over with no meaning to it. Even adjusted the invoice fraudulently after I signed. Beware of what they say and what they charge. Because I forgot I paid a deposit they totally made new stories and calculations to not refund my deposit. Paid 350 for just moving a fridge which is not even considered heavy item.
