anything nice to say about it. It came with a few chips anyway but they were easy to ignore. But in just over a week we’ve found that it damages way too easily. While twisting and lifting the table off the floor after construction, I placed my foot too close to the table top and my TOE NAIL took out a giant chip from the top. The table edges chip if you so much as breathe on them too hard. I was leaning against the table while sitting down and my jacket zippers took two sizeable chips out of the table. There’s damage from where we would have just brushed past while walking. After only a week of use. One week.
Dining tables are a high traffic zone. Quality is needed to ensure it has a long life and this table is sorely lacking in that department. As a new home owner, every dollar counts, and what we thought was a good quality dining table is so far from the truth it’s appalling. If you want this dining table - make sure it’s for display only as it will not withstand the test of time of actually being used for sitting and eating. Unless product quality is addressed and improved, I will not be shopping from this overpriced store again.
Lacks customer service – it seems there biggest fault is there third party delivery service and without delivering in time! I got a text outside of business hours advising delivery will be 730am - the delivery date was incorrect and I need prior notice to ensure I’m home first. sent an email with tracking number so I had no true lead time it’s more of a guessing game. Sydney customer service was appalling!! Overall a regretful buy.
An exceptional experience! – Love the vibe in this store. The products are great and the staff are all fabulous. Great value for money. Well made products. And a fresh and funky feel. Highly recommended!
Great service! – I went in hunting for a new entertainment unit and was served by a fantastic woman who even remembered me coming in a week before and what I was looking at. She was a great help in ordering our unit and explaining the delivery process to us and was generally a lovely person. Will be shopping there again and hope to deal with her again too!

Amazing service – I bought a chair from Matt Blatt Adelaide. Delivery time was tight because of time spent in Customs in Sydney, but Rebecca kept me in informed every step of the way, both by emails and phone calls. Even after the chair's arrival in Adelaide, there were problems caused by the courier company, not by Matt Blatt, but Rebecca did her utmost to see that I received my chair in time for my special event.
Lexington Sofa – After shopping around we discovered Matt Blatt and their Lexington sofa. I called the Adelaide showroom and they were great. They held the sofa for us until we could make it in to see. Sales process was smooth and professional. Delivery was in the quotes time. Really pleased and looking at purchasing another soon!

had viewed online, I went to ask the red headed saleswoman standing behind her desk about delivery. She seemed annoyed that I had interrupted her and told me both items we were looking at were out of stock, but would be available in June. I told her these had appeared in stock online and she told me i "was wrong" and I "must not have checked properly". I was still happy to purchase and put down a deposit but she insisted I pay full price for their goods including delivery upfront, or they would sell out and I would miss out completely. When I told her that I wasn't confortable with this she said while rolling her eyes that "its policy, if you can't afford it now you'll have to come back when you can".
I could not believe how rude she was, I asked her if a manager was around I could speak to and was told that there wasn't but I could leave my details and she would pass them on. I'm still waiting.
Never shopping with them again!!
Buyer beware - Adelaide store – Salesperson admitted floor stock damaged when inspecting an item for sale. Was informed that it would not be replaced as risk comes with buying floor stock. Concerning for the less observant shopper that they will be sold damaged goods without disclosure. Bar stool on floor has a bent leg and should have been withdrawn or declared as damaged.

new person (not sales person who was a co-manager) said she would tell the delivery company and assured us they would call and deliver this afternoon. Well by 4.50pm nothing, so we called MB spoke to another salesperson, his response was to check and call the driver and call us back only to say he couldn't reach them at 5pm and we should call in the morning We tried immediately to call the driver and got voice mail not a care in the world this courier company. We now have no sofa, we paid for delivery, no follow up by anyone, we have to make the after sales calls. This is Adelaide a c/s void in the universe and a cowtown that is need of sales, well MB just lost our business and Adelaide can ill afford to lose people paying GST. This is deplorable after sales support with not a care in the world for the customer. What kind of company have MB contracted with that does not follow-up by simply making a call. What kind of company promises to deliver and does not follow through. What kind of company says we now have to follow-up.Who in MB contracted with these kangaroo couriers in the first place and thinks this is acceptable service. Who at MB clearly gives a damn about their sales and customer retention. This is deplorable and so typical in Adelaide it really is. We are furious, we would have accepted this is someone had given a damn and called us but the two people we spoke to today were very young and clearlt untrained and out of their depth. Do not buy from MB in Adelaide and expect delivery, customner service and support. This is far from over we are not holding our breath that anyone will call us Tuesday, God help them if they don't MB will seriously have underestimated us they can take the bloody sofa back - I will not succumb to this sort of service after spending a couple thousand bucks on a sofa it just does not fly.
Terrible delivery times and no customer service about delivery – Matt Blatt is new to Adelaide and I thought I'd give them a go, ordering 2 kitchen stools. Paid 50 percent. Three days ago I was told the stools were in transit, 2 days ago I was told the truck was arriving that day and I would be contacted.
Guess I will have to chase them today. Again.
have not yet got the stools, so this review is not about the quality of the stools.
But Matt Blatt your product is not so amazing compared to other providers, and your product delivery is so cumbersome that I doubt I would risk laying out my money for any large item from your store.
